8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 11

So DH gets an Opportunity to teach a class in PHX in June.. well DS#2 graduates on June 6th and DS#1 finishes finals on June 8.. and then they don;t have football or summer school until the 13th.. so i said .. we meet ya in PHX.. but there were no free airfares.. and the airfares that are left at $250+ each.. so PHX and sedona and grand canyon are out..

Then DS#2 said he wanted to do a paintball tour and Dh could drive him and 4 of his friends to various paintball places for 6 days..

So I had a great idea that DS#1 and I would go for StarWars weekend..while DH and DS#2 were doing the paintball thing..... sounds like a good idea to me.. but DH didn't think so..

AWWW.....sounded like a good plan to me too....what's with these swabbies?

Hey all... just missed the pirate run I see. Good. (Congrats to the winner!)

Now I need some serious thinkin' help here. I just got an intriguing e-mail.... it's part of the POTC event at WDW that I'm doing in May. They want answers to these questions, with no explanation as to why they're asking. I want to make my answers stand out, to be creative, to make those reading them laugh and marvel at my whit.

I know that Crash usually does the "Answer Me This" type of thing, but I'm hoping some of your answer will light a spark in my imagination. (My brain is so dead right now, it really needs a spark!) Overall a pretty good day. I didn't feel like I was stressing about the job, but now that I have the good news, I feel like a weight has been lifted.

And, I got a info packet from DCL for my Med cruise, which thanks to the job situation working out, I still get to go.

And got asked out for a date for this weekend. (good thing it wasn't for Friday so I won't miss chat )

Yep, pretty good day today. Maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket too?

Hello Everyone!!! Happy Thursday!


I don't have alot of time to chat tonight because of preparing for the big trip!

I did want to let you guys know I two, count 'em two drs. appts. today.

The first one for the ankle swelling. When I woke up today not only was my right ankle swollen but so was my right eye! Dr. is not too alarmed but needs to find out why I'm retaining fluid like this. The three big things to rule out are: Kidney problems, Congestive Heart Failure, and some Leg Vein problem. She took blood today, told me to go to Fl., watch my salt intake, drink a lot of water and we'll go further when I get back.

The other appt. was for my rosacea treatment. It REALLY hurt this time and now I look like a tomato!

Boy do I need this vacation!

IBUPROFEN! I take it every day in Florida, or when I'm at the parks, and it keeps my legs from swelling up like sausages.
