Good Morning all!

It is so nice to finally be at Saturday. It endedup being He** Week at work. Not sure what has been going on with the boards, I only had 10 pages to ketchup on since yesterday morning.

Happy Belated Birthday to those of you who celebrated the past few days.

OK, I need to get moving. I need to go grocery shopping, visit Tar-zay and a whole bunch of other stuff that I did not get to do.

I have been off this board for the past week... too much work! Plus I need to finish off planning for my first DCL cruise this August.. and our trip to WDW afterwards (looks like free dining is going to happen this year ).

But I try to stay in touch with my fellow EB Repo'ers in the Friday chat.

And last night was very fun and informative. You have to try and make it next time!

By this time next Saturday, I hope to be on the road to Florida for Spring Break, and I for one, can't wait!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, Mateys --

It is a beautiful sunny morning here in SE Virginia. After 82 degrees yesterday, the coolness actually feels good (although my house still hasn't cooled off . . .LOL). DH took DS10 to early baseball practice (yes, 9 AM is early for us . . .VerandahMan!) and I'm off to make up some gooey stuff to fill in the holes in my bedroom walls. Now don't let your Disney imagination go too wild. These holes were made my nails and the crazy things the former owners put in the wall (can you say mollybolt). The tile guy is here grouting the tile in our main bath. Only one more bath to go!!

I have to get all the wallpaper off my master bathroom walls. In every bath in the house, they put the wallpaper straight on the drywall with NO PRIMER!! Any suggestions or recommendations for safely removing the paper without removing patches of drywall would be most appreicated!!

I am envious of you going on a cruise this August and to WDW after. That is what I did after my cruise this past August, a week on the Magic and a Week at WDW. To me that is a vacation! Plus I had a couple of extra days at WDW thanks to hurricane Ernesto, Southwest wasn't flying to Norfolk, VA . Any extra days at WDW is great.

I know, wasn't the weather beautiful down here yesterday. Was outside all day with the dogs I am taking care of. They have a pond on their property and just built a deck.
Me and the dogs "sat on the dock on the pond". It is also nice not to have the heat on in the house and the windows open. I love this time of the year down here in VA. Everything is blooming, the pear trees, daffodils and hyacinths(sp). The trees with the pink buds, I don't know the name of them. It is just so pretty.

Pete took the stitches out tonight. The gaping hole in my face is now being held together by some strips of paper. Eye is still purple,but all in all I'm doing great. Thanks. Jack

Glad to hear you are on the mend!

Been ok thank you, took DD to see doctor again Thursday in London and her Ear is healing very well, and now the repaired one has 10% better hearing than the untreated one.

So thats good news.

Hi Diane! Remember long ago we got to talking about the interactive Stitch? Well, I managed to get one for my DD on eBay and she'll be when I give it to her for her b-day on Friday. Rack up another 'awesome' mom point.

Theresa I don't know much about removing wallpaper, but I know we had the same problem at our last house & we had to rent a steamer to get the paper off & it still took forever. Good luck!

I wish all your renovating would rub off on DH. We have so much painting, tiling & trim work to do & nothing gets done around here. I want to finish this house & put it on the market this summer, but the amount of work is daunting.

All I have to say is, Florida better be nice and warm when we get there as I am 98% packed for our trip (swimsuit, shorts, t-s**** and sandles). If all goes according to plan, we should be pulling out of here after I get home from work on Friday!!!

Hazel is also about 98% packed, we just have to work on getting our "ST" packed, but between play practice and working now, most likely Hazel will be getting "ST" clothes packed............
