Here's a little something for all our friends still blanketed. Yes, spring will come. (Took these in our yard, just now.)

Our container of Tulips from the front porch. Daffodils are pretty much done around here.

This is our Asian Pear tree. Looks like we may get a good crop this year. Provided I can keep the squirels from getting them first! Last year I didn't net the tree because we had a good crop and I didn't mind sharing. Did they save me even one? NO!! This year, the tree gets netted.

Here's one of our apple trees. And the grape on the fence behind is starting to leaf out too. Those grapes grow like crazy things. You can sit in a lawn chair and watch them - nearly. About 4" a day once they get started.

Here's our plum tree. I really should have taken a picture of it last week when it was in full bloom. The flowers blew away this week like a fall of warm s**w.

Here's hoping your days are soon filled with warm s**w as well.

Enjoyed your pics. can't wait till we start blooming. My crocus are the only things in bloom.:)

Andrew...some really great photos! What an attractive family you are!:thumbsup2

Thank you

Ha! I just had a spam e-mail. Seems I have inherited 1.5 million from Lord someone in England!

Or maybe......Andrew????? :confused3

Correction...that's FIVE million !

We get them all the time, They are not from me!!!!!

Given where Andrew lives, he could certainly spare that much . . .

Possible!

Yes, we just recently got them here in Arizona. One of the other Escaping Moms bought one. She said you needed to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to use it!

I can work it and I am THICK!

Well, Andrew, HRH.....thank you!!!

Just send all requests to:

Their HRH,
1 The Mall
WC1

and tell them Tony sent you.

Stace - how do you get the smileys to show? Every time I try I wind up with a line of code.:headache:

I think overall PC repo will be far more relaxing, more sea days and every port the sighseeing is local and easy to get to.

The Med will be like a WDW endurance test, port after port each day, long days so much to see, few sea days.

PC we will use DCL for onboard entertainment more, The Med, on the few sea days, deck chairs only!

PC well it has TPC, but the Med Rome, Piza, Naples, Amalfi, Monte carlo,
Sardinia, Sically, Barcelona.

You all will definetly need a vacation after that cruise.:)
Yes, i found the last EB repo to be very relaxing:thumbsup2

Now they are using the upright vacuums and the mousekeepers are complaining about them. They don't clean as well, etc.

Maybe the uprights are called Henrietta.........................:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Andrew, note the exclaimation points . . . people sound just the tiniest bit surprised, don't you find?

Maybe they had imagined you more like this:

All the other posters know a good thing when they see it, exclaimation marks just highlight the comment more, The fact is I had to show one of my 'worst' pics, just to keep, you off the track?

What a selfless thing for her to do. :grouphug: Her donation is going to make some little girl very happy. :goodvibes DD doesn't want to cut her hair so I have talked to her about letting it grow past her waist IF she will get it cut when it is long enough to donate and still have her hair below her shoulders after it is cut.

Thanks Lisa! I am very proud of DD! She's a great kid! She decided she wants to look more like her friends, who all seem to have shoulder length hair. I guess it is the in-thing not to have hair that is too long. :confused3

How old is your DD? When my DD, soon to be 8, was in Kindergarten, she had hair to the middle of her back. She decided to get it cut...to chin lenght. I wasn't prepared for that. But, my Mom was a cancer victim, inclusive of hairloss, and DD wanted to help in her way. So, to mark the 1 year anniversary of my DMom being an  DD had her hair cut and donated. Certainly one of my prouder moments!!! And we, too, had the very same dialogue about earrings. Just this January she decided she was over it and wanted them pierced. Oh, where does the time go?

My DD is 12! It too her a long time to decide to cut her hair & get her ears pierced. She kept wearing clip-ons & complained they hurt, so I tried to tell her that she'd be better off with getting her ears pierced, but she was holding out. I just let her be & I knew she would make these decisions on her own eventually. That was a really nice thing for a kindergartener to decide to do! She must be very special indeed!

One of my ds11's best friends at school is a lukemia survivor. She lost her hair in preschool and it didn't start growing back until 2nd grade. Donating to Locks of Love has becaome a very popular thing in ds's grade. His friend, who survived cancer donated last year and is working on growing it out again to donate. What a great trend! I hear more and more of young girls making the decision to do this, and it makes me so hopeful and proud of the next generation. What a wonderful thing your daughter did!

My dd certainly can't donate her hair....it's so thin, I think they would reject it! But she to, has a very generous and giving nature. A couple of summers ago she participated in a video at school that was made as a training tool for teaching students (before she entered Kindergarten) and earned $75 for her participation. She was so excited to get that check in the mail. She waited all summer, checking the mail daily. She had picked out some clothes that she wanted to buy with her earnings. I guess there was a lot of paperwork and whatnot to get the checks to the students. At any rate the check finally arrived right before the start of the school year. This was the same summer that Hurricane Katrina hit. Well, they were taking up a collection at Church for the victims, and she told me she wanted to donate the whole $75! I get teary-eyed just thinking about it still. I guess we are doing something right!

What wonderful stories!!! It is heartwarming to see so many kids with caring natures! :thumbsup2

Yes I was born at 11.45pm, and if I was bor a minute or so later the register would have put the 28th.

Doing anything special for yours?

Mine is just a day in front of the 90 days to book online for the Med, and the payby date for the Med cruise albeit the Med and TPC cruises are paid up, the dollar rate was good January 31st, its slipping slowly now.

I was born in the wee hours of the morning at 1:05am

Well, hopefully I will be having an early birthday party this year in Florida with my DW, DD and Dmom, as long as DD can get the time off from her new job. DD also told me I might get Jack the pirate: Monkey for my birthday from B-a-B if I am a good boy!!! :thumbsup2
