Diane what a wonderful thing your DD did! Tell her how much I truly admire her!!! Wow, she is giving someone a great gift!

Oh yeah, and about the ear piercing.......Girlfriend come talk to me in a couple of years when it's the navel.......:scared1: :scared1: We let DD pierce her navel when she turned sixteen with the condition that she not pierce or tattoo anything else while under our watch. 17 1/2 years old and so far so good! We figure a navel ring can be removed at a later date without marking her up too much! Oh, the give and take of the teens years....no one really prepares us for them. A person I have a great deal of respect for told me (when my kids where little) when I saw her teen DS with a blue mohawk, she said she picks her battles but always gives in on the things (like hair) that aren't permanent!!! Sage advise that I try to live by......BUT IT AIN'T EASY!! :scared1:

Actually I kind of like the little navel piercings. If my stomach didn't protude so much, I'd consider one myself. If I got one now, I think you'd have to dig to find it! :rotfl2:

Jeff in response to the questions you asked me last night about the new TV. I think the 32" is really good in our bedroom. Now we don't have it mounted on the wall, it's in the amoire, but it's big and clear, and well.........I think I LOVE IT!! I think because it's widescreen, the screen actually isn't as big as the 32" tube TV this one replaced, but I think it's the perfect size and our bedroom size is about 18 X 18 or so. :thumbsup2

I'm here.... just sorting through my pictures trying to find something remotely interesting to post. Not coming up with much. Found a lot from my cruise with my stinky teen of a nephew though, but they aren't of interest to those that weren't there.

Speaking of the stinky teen, he could really use as much prayer, pixie dust and positive energy directed his way. He's supposed to graduate HS this year but seems to have no plans past today. There is also a 99.999% chance that his family will be moved in June but they won't know where they're going until Mid-May. Anyway, it seems that he is rebelling big time and getting into a lot of trouble, some of it pretty serious. Every time we think he's turned a positive corner, he does something stupid and falls further away. Just found out the most recent event happened Wednesday. The family is just at a loss and no one knows what to do. I won't go into details but he really needs your prayers. :thumbsup2

Back to finding pictures......

Prayers and :wizard: your way! Went through this with a nephew also. Hang in there.:grouphug:

Ahhhh Diane, you'll handle the teen years just fine!!!! You Go Girl :woohoo: :woohoo:

Can you feel the jealousy??? :guilty: :guilty: :guilty: :rolleyes1

I have to agree, that is beautiful! It's not the same thing, but there is currently a 20 inch Mickey statue on ebay that was originally used as a display in one of the Disney stores. The current bid is at 61.95. You can find a lot of Disney surplus items on ebay.

Has anyone heard from BIP???? I haven't seen her post in a few days.:confused3 BIP if your out there, please let us know how you are doing.:flower3:

BIP -- Shelley -- let us know how you are doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Evening Everyone!!! Happy Wednesday!!

I came home from work tonight and immediately fell asleep.....

Tomorrow my DH is having MOHS surgery on a basal cell carcinoma on his left temple. A specialist referred him to yet another specialist in Princeton NJ because the lesion is laying on the nerve that controls the forehead. Now he's had a few lesions removed over the years, so the surgery isn't scaring him, but he idea that he may no longer have control over his forehead muscles has him concerned. Well I am worried about him and my first reaction.....fall into a dead sleep! Please keep good thoughts for John tomorrow, the procedure may take many hours. Thanks!

Holding good thoughts for John . . .

I wonder if they are taking the boards down on real time or DISBoard time? :lmao:

Ah... must be why I wasn't TOO far behind. Either it was a long shut down or Lisa made personal threats!;)

this is so cool, I'm actually starting to recognize some people

I feel like Miss MaryAnn (or whoever you had for Romper Room)

I see Kristina. I see Andy. I see Lisa. I see John. I see Brack. I see Todd.

I'm in there too.:goodvibes

Thanks everyone for your well wishes for John (and me too), we really appreciate them!

Lorri glad you and DS are all better now! Hope you ketchup quick at work!

Andy good for Angelina!! Hope she gets the call ASAP! I also hope the medicine works quickly for Hazel.....is she any better today?

Caroline I love when you ketchup....it's like a blast from the past! So often post things that I miss, such as this about Jen, so thanks!

Jen I missed that post about your nephew, I hope he finds his way, the teen years are the most trying of all....for the teen, and for the family. :grouphug: and prayers for him!

Do most folks use the Lab / club for the kids? Wondering what folks' experience has been with these....

Should I follow the Passporters suggestions to sign up on day 1?

What have the veterans on board done w/ regard to the Children activities?

Congrats Sil!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Well guess what happened today at work......It looks like I might be getting another boss...well who cares about that.......but wait, maybe this will be good......maybe they'll be under 80-years-old, know how to use computers and not walk around dropping the "F" bomb all day (and other bombs too, if you know what I mean ;) ). They tell me the candidates are on the younger side GREAT. So in comes the candidate, I wait as they walks down the hall where I sit that I lovingly refer to as Death Row (no explanation needed here) .....will it a man or a woman? have a kind face or a grumpy one?...here they come.....here they come.......oooh it's a man......oooh he looks kinda mean......OH NO......HE'S AS OLD AS METHUSELAH!!!! Good Night Irene I GIVE UP!

Yeah Paula....me DH is the ninth of ten children. When he was born my MIL was 42 already!

Just how many people here have a DH (or DW) who is one of 10??? DH was in college when he found out his DM was expecting number 9. He didn't talk to her for a month! Number 10 came a couple years later. Here I thought having 3 brothers and a sister was a lot.:upsidedow

Hi There Monica, Mary, & Margaret!!!!!

Now that's alot of M's!! :lmao:
