Just saw on the main board that DCL is notifying people that IC is not taking requests for the new ships. Can anyone else confirm?

I never got around to sending a request in. Now I guess it doesn't matter.

Well , as I mentioned to some of you my friend Toby came in this past weekend , he is a Captain Jack Impersonator and was here to audition for a reality show that they were filming here , but while he was here we got to have some fun too ....Here is just a little of the fun ....(I was the Camera man for this weekend ...LOL )

Diane-you actually CAN buy just generic cola syrup from drugstores like Walgreens, and probably CVS...Not Coke brand, but it's still yummy, and it still works when you're not feeling well.

Actually Hazel has now started on her new medication but we have to wait and see if it starts taking effect.

We just arrived home from the mall, looks like Angelina will be starting at B-a-B "beary" soon. The 2nd interview today went very well, she was told she should hear something within the next day or two. There were six girls at the interview session today and all six of them were told they did very well with today's interview. The girls also made a bear in the store and had to make a story about the bear.

Andy hope the meds do the trick for Hazel! I'm glad it's looking promising for Angelina!

Thanks Diane! DS is back to normal this afternoon and is going back to school tomorrow. He missed one day of the state math testing today but will be able to make it up next week.

We're due to get snow tomorrow night after reaching a high of 75 here today! And I didn't get to enjoy any of it!!!!!!

I know I was braggin that there was no snow in the forcast here...uh nope they changed that today. We are definitely getting snow tomorrow night too. That's what I get for being a smart add!

Good Evening Everyone!!! Happy Wednesday!!

I came home from work tonight and immediately fell asleep.....

Tomorrow my DH is having MOHS surgery on a basal cell carcinoma on his left temple. A specialist referred him to yet another specialist in Princeton NJ because the lesion is laying on the nerve that controls the forehead. Now he's had a few lesions removed over the years, so the surgery isn't scaring him, but he idea that he may no longer have control over his forehead muscles has him concerned. Well I am worried about him and my first reaction.....fall into a dead sleep! Please keep good thoughts for John tomorrow, the procedure may take many hours. Thanks!

I just got back from taking my DD (12) to get her hair cut. She had over a foot of hair cut off & she donated it to Locks for Love. It was down to her lower back & is now just below her shoulders. Wow what a change!

The other day we went & got her ears pierced. It's funny because she was holding out & adamant that she was "Never getting holes" in her ears. Well out of the blue she comes home from school and says, "I want my ears pierced!" Okaaaay. I guess she looked around in school & she said, "Mom every single girl has her ears pierced! And I mean every one! I didn't see one girl that didn't have holes in her ears or earrings on!" Along with the piercing, we had to buy big silver hoop earrings, "because that's what everyone wears!" She can't wait till the 6 weeks are up so she can put them on. What the heck happened to my little girl? Who stole her?

Naw - nothing for the whole ship - things were fine and dandy until I was notified in Barbados that my best friend (40 at the time and had a 10 year old and 18 months old) died while we were in St. Lucia but I didn't get notified until Barbados. I couldn't get off the ship so I missed that - It was unexpected. Kinda put a damper on everything for a long time... Then I ended up losing my pictures in Antigua - my card got mojo'd and Ithought I lost everything, then.....my brand new camcorder that I was only using for the 2nd time? Well, um... DH broke it in Antigua!


But on the Flip side, NOW...I can laugh about losing a brand new camcorder..... - Time does heal all wounds..

I'll have to post the reason why I'm laughing at losing a $1500 Xmas gift. You'll all laugh too when I do. I certainly took to heart the meaning - if life gives you lemons - make lemonade!

I'll probably post later this evening as I will be up for another round of egg bashers!

Diane what a wonderful thing your DD did! Tell her how much I truly admire her!!! Wow, she is giving someone a great gift!

Oh yeah, and about the ear piercing.......Girlfriend come talk to me in a couple of years when it's the navel....... We let DD pierce her navel when she turned sixteen with the condition that she not pierce or tattoo anything else while under our watch. 17 1/2 years old and so far so good! We figure a navel ring can be removed at a later date without marking her up too much! Oh, the give and take of the teens years....no one really prepares us for them. A person I have a great deal of respect for told me (when my kids where little) when I saw her teen DS with a blue mohawk, she said she picks her battles but always gives in on the things (like hair) that aren't permanent!!! Sage advise that I try to live by......BUT IT AIN'T EASY!!

MR, I'm so sorry to hear this, John will be in our thoughts and prayers tomorrow and in the days ahead. We will also have you in our prayers as well.

no chance of me to ketchup i read the summaries DD had surgery yesterday she did awesome ! i hope everyone had a awesome week im on night shift for the whole weekend hopefully i can al least keep up everyone around nj enjoy the nice spring weather hope everywhere else is as nice or warmer
