8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 10

Our thread had been open 4 days -- 300 posts

At our current average of 75 posts a day
Approximately 576 days until we repossess
That would create us 43,200 posts.

So lets' see... if we were to estimate what we needed for daily posting production to achieve 100,000 posts by embarkation day... lets keep it simple. First...

comp10.gif

So - if our thread has been up for 7 days and 8 hours...
and produced 886 postings...
then this is a daily average of 120.8 posts ...
and in the 573 days remaining I can estimate our current pace will accumulate 69,580 postings.
EXACTLY what I predicted earlier.

However... in order to achieve 100,000 postings by embarkation -
then I predict that we have to average 173.62 postings daily.
That excludes making up for the short fall of 370 posts in the last 7 days!

Can we really maintain a posting pace that achieves 100,000 or more postings by embarkation?

Even Crash did not see this coming! :lmao:

No...

I most definately did not see this kind of volume coming - let alone being sustained for any length of time!

Karen,

There was a posting some time ago that made reference to the "IDEA" that a teaspoon or NUTMEG would bring on a psychotropic effect similar to that of LSD... however, the downside is there would be an immediate and prolonged dry hacking "heaving" bad enough to wake the whole neighborhood.

Don't expect me to FIND the original posting of this... <chuckles>;)

Hmmmm Crash, me thinks you remember Roger's explanation verbatim!!! :lmao: Then again, so do I.....what does this say about us? :lmao:

I had to share these two pix... they're a couple of the FEW images where I appear as I am usually the one taking the 10s of 1000s of pictures we've got.

It would appear as if we've been bested this round - there's another sprint coming up in another day or two! Us Pirate men folk shall be lurkin' in the shadows 'ere!

If I sit here very, very quietly...

I can hear crickets.

right now I can sit very still and ....

.... I can hear snoring...

... and every now and then the dog walks about and I can hear his comings and goings...

brack I have found it to be running slow since around dinnertime....now it's much worse though!

It took me quite a while to get on the boards again this morning, this is getting so frustrating..............

Thanks Captain for the explanation!

Oy, I remember whenever I was sick, My mom would come home with coke syrup from the corner store and make me drink it .:faint: I can't remember anything as awful, except a cough syrup they used to give me called terpenhydrate(?) Now that was awful. But you didn't dare cough again.
Both my husband and my DD have Zofran. Her kids have a condition that warrants they keep their meds down when sick. My DH toook it during his Chemo and never had a problem. We take it on the ship with us as well.

My mom gave us the coke syrup over crushed ice on a spoon, I LOVED it!!! Maybe that's because I have a sweet tooth......................:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I wanted to post something earlier but - well - I just sort of watched and followed the progeress. I know you stepped out at what looked like 10PM your time to see the doc. I was wonderin' whether they actually had hours that late!? At any rate... you certainly have our hopes and well wishes for Hazel. I don't know what IBS is - but I hope it is managable this time around.

With somber well wishes....

I don't know if this was before or after the doctor visit - I'm somewhat confused - but this sounds like Hazel is doing better. And that is great to hear of....!

Actually Crash, I took Hazel to see the doc a little after 7pm our time last evening.

IBS= Irritable Bowel Syndrome and it's not fun to say the least, those who have it know what I mean.

Okay then so they are not the same shoes......mine, I'm sure, are Payless :lmao: (but I have them in white too!)

I have the same shoes! In every color. I just can't buy one pair. If I like them I buy them in every color! A girl can never have enough shoes or handbags!! Am I OCD or not!

KAREN

 and  to both your girls Andy....

Does Hazel still have a Gallbladder? If she does, make sure they rule that out at her Dr visit. I had problems that came and went for years that i always chalked up to sorta IBS but then it all came to a head two years ago.

I did too Andy and had my Gallbladder removed in Dec 2001.. I suffer for years..
