We sold a total of 318 lanyards! For those of you who ordered...look for me at the terminal and feel free to pick yours up. I will also be at the meet at 2PM. If I don't meet up with you there..you can come by my cabin or I will come to yours and get them. I fi Am meeting with you the week prior to the cruise..I will bring your with me.

The package it arrived in today was a bit overwhelming!

It's been a long day and I am heading off to bed. I never did ketchup so I am hoping nothing was really important.

FIL - is going to be released later on today. He has an infection -- intestininal -- and his ulcer is acting up so, he is on an antibiotic and a prescription pepcid (?).

Dh said he was extrememly dehydrated -- I told dh to remind FIL that rum & coke doesn't count as a liquid!

Dh is still with FIL and is going to be the one to handle all the details.

One of the funniest things (at least ot dh & I) is last night before dh left FIL was panicked.....FIL --- *I don't have any cash on me.*

Dh told him not to worry that that he didn't need to tip the nurses during the night and they didn't have a bar! LOL!

Oh your FIL is cute and I'm glad he's going to be released. Still praying for him!

Everyone remember that there is a Walmart and Sams Club right at the pier in Puerto Vallarta. Just in case of any forgotten items that anyone can't do without for the rest of the cruise

That seems so weird. Walmart is literally taking over the world.

There is a wonderful book that I read when my daughter was having trouble with the "MEAN GIRLS" that really changed my mind set and helped me help her. The book is called "Odd Girl Out". It was written by a woman who studied the behaviors of adolescents girls towards each other and then traced the impact of these behaviors in adult women. Bottom line - Boys get mad and get over it. - Girls can be mean in a way that wounds for life. I think it is must read for all parents of adolescent girls. It helped us make some tough calls on things like schools and have a language to talk to her about what she was going through.

I don't know about you all but parenting is not easy and you want the best for your kids but sometimes I don't know what that is so I will take all the help I can get.

Chippewa is further north and they haven't been hit by these storms and flooding. Final count last night was 2 1/2" of rain

Happy Friday everyone.........LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR TEACHERS (at least in our county schools)!!! WooHoo! It was nice seeing the busses pull off the bus loop yesterday afternoon, we all lined up to wave goodbye to the kids. Now I am free to finally start my planning

I have to clean out my classroom today & we have a staff luncheon. DD9 has her first swim meet of the season tonight so no drinks to celebrate the end of yet another school year.

Someone asked what events DD9 is swimming a while back; I think she will swim 50 Free, 50 Back, 50 Butterfly and either the medley relay or a free relay - not sure yet, we usually do not find out until we get there.

DS11's team won the second game of the championship series. Final game is tonight.

Last day of school today, 1/2 day. I've been off since Wed at noon. yea me.

My interview is Monday. Got a new suit, got new shoes, got a second better fitting suit, took the first suit back. Did my research, talked to my insiders.

so, really, any new developments? Have they decided to charge airplane passangers by the pound yet? Are they just going to push us off the plane during a fly by of the air port? Tuck & Roll, Tuck & Roll !!

Update on my FIL - he has decided he will not live the rest of his life with a feeding tube so now its just a matter of time before he ends up on the hospital with an infection, he really can't swallow well at all. He is on a soft food diet and apparently they may try some sort of stimulation to his throat to see if they can get it to work again for him. Thanks for all the prayers everyone!!

Do you print door signs on magnetic paper, and if so, which model do you recommend? Just curious, since we haven't tried to print any signs yet, so i'm not sure how our printer will handle the magnetic paper.

Mike I use a lot of photo sleeves, that way I can just switch out my signs. I was trying to find a picture, but they are similar to these.

Good morning everyone.. What have I missed inthe past week??
Been very busy here.. We went to CARLISLE, Pa to get some parts for my Mustang and it was sooooo HOT!!! I loved it. I got my pool ll ready and the kids have been in it a few times after work and school. AWWW summer!!!

My son was elected vice president of his sophomore class for next year.. so today he gets DUNKED in the water tank for the last day of school. !!! Anything the President doesnt want to do.. goes to the VP..

He also, received 11 merit badges for boy scouts this past MONDAY.. RIP to all those scouts who lost teir lives this week. And God bless those who tried to save them.

I am so sorry for your FIL. Hopefully, they can get it working correctly again. After about 4 months of therapy with my Nana she was finally able to get off the thickeners.

Hi All! Haven't been DISing much lately.. crazy life gets in the way. My mom moved in with us & that has been interesting My new job has its moments & its the end of the school year & the school finally figured out that I can do layouts... so I did the awards program, award certificates, etc. with a preschool grad program thrown in for good measure. Good news! My DS got an award... for his invention (more on that another time).. But it was real cool & now he is being taken more seriously for his efforts. Any whoo... Well, off to do my favorite job in the whole wide world (NOT!!!)....washing windows. It takes 45 mins each window. They are as old as the house. I keep complaining to DH we need new ones. His response : "Well, if you stop taking so many vacations we could afford them". Shuts me up right quick. I didn't do them this Fall and they are a mess. I started yesterday and hope to get them done by the end of next week before we have another heat wave. I have lots of windows

well im a trader again. next year in 2009 i had two back to back 7 night cruises in aug 2009. than i booked a 12 night rccl cruise that has 7 ports in jan 2009 so i cancelled one of the cruises in aug 2009. than yesterday i booked a rccl cruise fos in jan 2010. than i took my 7 night cruise in aug 2009
and cancelled that and turned it into a very short 3 night disney cruise in aug 20.

... 2 years ago I sailed Carnival, last year we did another Carnival and tried Costa ... and for next year we just booked our 1st MSC sailing with 8 others (mostly family and friends). Maybe we'll have a small group by February? With Costa and MSC we could not resist trying the kids sail free promo.

So, does this make me a "traitor" too?
