Yes...I'm quoting myself.....but I find it hysterical that there's a Christmas tree in the background and Mrs. Redneck Claus is kicking back with a cig right next to the tree like it's the coolest thing in the world that there's a PBR coffin in her living room.

I love it.

I saw some really nice suits and tuxes on Ebay. But he needs to try it on, the same as me. I cannot buy clothes mailorder.:( The biggest expense now is his suit, shirts and shoes.

He has an ortho Dr appt today. Knee a bit swollen and I have been hearing grumbling lately. I want to set up his shots before the trip to give him the best protection on that darn knee.I know with all the walking it will flare up. I'm wondering if a cane might help?
According to what his Dr said, I have to get him his Hep A shot next week. Has anyone done the Typhus??? The helath dept recommends it. I'm thinking we will pass on this one tho.

We did just the HepA. And Thank you,no on the Rooster Shots!! :scared1: Had those done 2-3 years ago...hopefully never again!!!

Hey all.... can we talk FE for a minute please?

Using the sizes of the FE's on e-bay and the pattern posted earlier this year, I gave my SIL some basic instructions and she agreed to make one for me. It arrived today and measures 8" x 24". The sizes match up, but it looks SO small. Is that normal or should it be bigger? Maybe it's one of those, the camera adds 10 lbs type of things?

Cheers!

I don't even know if they offer school choice & I'm not sure it would help. The district is part of the problem and there is no escaping that. Plus, we really did our research before we moved in here. The school is great on paper and everyone we asked said good things about it. Oh well. What's another 2 years?? :(

Bummer ... at least you have an end date even if it is 2 years away. Think how much worse it would be if you didn't know when you would escape?

PB Regular: Image files must be 1 MB or less or 1024 x 768 pixels

PB Pro limits: High resolution images - up to 5MB or 2240 x 1680 pixels

Andy

Well shoot, if that is the case, then the resolution I went to all that trouble to get was lost! I'll find somewhere else to post the full file when I get home.

Can't decide on a comment:

1. Who needs to fight terra cotta?
B. Anyone else picturing plant pots wearing combat helmets?

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao: My mother just told me that exhibit was there and suggested we should try and get to see it "when your in California before your cruise" :rotfl: :confused3 DS9 was really into China for a while (still interested, but he's gone onto other stuff for the moment) and even has a small model of one of the warriors. However, doesn't she realize that we only have 2 days to try and see DL (and maybe a little DCA)? Clearly, I didn't get my DIsney gene from her! ;)

My wife's response (for those who saw the science of Star Wars exhibit) "Cool, maybe they can make it out of legos!"

:lmao:  We saw that and we played with the lego mag-lev stuff for quite a while!

This is the first chance I've had to catch up today - really busy at the office. I'll try and finish when I get home and find a few minutes to answer the 7 questions....

Pamela

She got the right size kiddo!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I have to admit, I get a little nostalgic when I think of PBR. That was the beer my  grandpa:love: always drank. I even remember we would have to go meet the beer truck to pick up cases and cases of that stuff. Hey, what can I say.....he was a Teamster!

AHHHH....you SOOOO cheated! I was hoping to really have people choose what is especially different about "being with others".....I know we all love our kids, going on vacation, meeting friends, but few are brave enough to really say "I enjoy that one afternoon I get alone in the spa", or "I would die for a night at Palos with my spouse", or "I want every minute to be with my kids and seeing them enjoy Mickey". :offtopic: :offtopic: :offtopic: :offtopic:

AGAIN, Steph...this is why I love ya and perhaps now owe you TWO drinks with a couple hours away from the bunchkins. I am so glad to be with the kids and I want to do tons together, but the time I truely cherish is time alone with joel or time alone; I think I've come to appreciate those more deeply because so many things are done as a family or with the kids that it seems "obvious" or "normal" to enjoy those things; but like spending a couple hours scrapbooking with other ladies or having a drink with adults in the even are more rare so they are special in a different kind of way.

I'm not a mom and we'll be on our honeymoon, so I chose not to answer this question.... :rolleyes1 ...but if I didn't go with the obvious answer, I'd say having some relaxing time at the spa would be the best treat after the last 9 months of plannng and stress!

DOH!!!! take away my charge card...Although i did get a couple nice things..

Look at my "catch".

The pantsuit is iffy as i think it's going to be too big. (the smallest size the had left in that clearance item) I'm hoping it's made really small though.

nice

Except the guys who have actually met me, or seen a picture.
Those guys are :lmao: at the thought that I am like her!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Actually..they were the "warriors" that the Emperor of China had created (about 7000 of them) to be buried in a grave to fight for him on the "other" side. They are from 220 BC and were really interesting..

My first thought after reading this was.......be aware (or beware!) of the "souvineirs" some people get on the Magic! They should arrive next May and don't leave for about 18 years!! :rotfl2:

Actually, around here (with the housing prices, etc.), it tends to be considerably more than 18 years.....
