Several of us are chatting on the Pirate Zone. Come join us.
Lisa, I think over the course of this thread (threads?) you have proved that they are of sufficient size to pull it off!!!!!!!!! The question is -- do you want to have to live up to the expectations you would create by getting the job in such a spectacular manner?![]()
OK so how?![]()
I am a member of the forum over there, but the chat doesn't recognize my username and password?
We saw the new playhouse Disney show in March and we loved it. It was similar in format to the old show but with charachters from the new shows. It was fun!!
I went on a trip to Germany when I was a teen, so I am excited for him to do the same! He is really shy though, so it will be an awesome life experience for him.
We will have to discuss this further on the ship!
Oh, I bet that would be a unique response and get you noticed...not sure if it would be in a good or bad way though...
We are going to cancel it and try it on our own...we have the more expensive one booked right now and if I recall correctly, it will cost us ...MATH ALERT....
59 times 6 equals 334 plus I think $40ish for DD3, plus I assume we would need a tip of about $40. So this is over $400 we will not spend. I am happy to save that money for a most likely bad excursion. We will wing it and see how it goes...
So far I've found two dresses that I really like.
Prom season is just getting started here so I'm not expecting find any good prices on dresses until next month.
I love the top of the second dress, but think the skirt might be a bit much. I like the top of the first one, but the skirt is boring.![]()
What do you think?

Andy - actually it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be - it actually only hit a low 4 figure on the 1st and 3rd one - actually DH got off supercheap on the 2nd one. I got him a good deal!Compared to what he wanted to get me - he got off easy. And the only reason he wanted to get me that dreams pendant was because the girls weren't with us.
All in all, it was cheaper than a Ducky Williams original painting!![]()
So you see, I actually save him some $$$ (that way I can spend it on the EB)

Oh yeah, here's a bit of good news for the guys, according to the guy at Milano Jewelry store in Cabo, which is where Pippa recommended I get my tanzanite of the color I really wanted, it is out of season there right now. They just got done sending their best tanzanite stones to Alaska for their season which has just started - May - Sept is their time. Which I can attest to that - I got my pride and joy Tanzanite - a 3.25 tanzanite back in 2000 for just under $2500 reduced from $4200. They were desparate to make a sale (Little Switzerland) - it had a deep purple red flashes that I wanted and we later saw the same ring but 1/2 the stone size for $8000 in the Caribbean later that summer so again, I saved DH tons of $$ on that ring.![]()

I can't wait to meet you! LOL!
How much do you tip the Excursion person (driver/guide)???? I feel so cheap now::::::::hanging my head in shame:::::::::::::
Glad he is doing so wellGood morning everyone.. Nice sunny morning herre in Central New York.. I am off to the Doctors with my DAD.. post chemo/radiation CT scan today.. Plase keep him in your thoughts for CA free today.. He was Dx in September for Pancreatic Cancer...and is kicking butt!!!
I would be very annoyed as well. You know depending on how close you are, you could tell her you noticed her snooping after you have had a chance to calm down. Or just let it go. It could be worse...my Mom was telling me how how one of her co-workers stole her best friend's husbandhi everyone! happy monday! i guess i'm not able to keep up here...so i'll just check in and say hello!!
i need to vent for a min too, cuz if i don't vent here, i may say something not nice at home! LOL! i had to get my computer looked at over the weekend...was infected with some nasty stuff! my friend's dad is usually the one who fixes it for me. well, she took my comp to him on friday and brought it back yesterday...all fixed!! yeah!!
funny thing is.....i went into my history...and i believe her curiosity got the best of her...she looked at my yahoo mail account. i don't normally log off of it, cuz it's my home computer. when i went into my history....the only thing visited was the spyware site her dad visited and my yahoo mail...and it was the sent emails that i know she would be interested in! she is curious (NOSEY) about a few friends that i email, and those are the ones that were looked at! i'm stunned to say the least...but i don't want to say anything to her....and start problems. she acts a bit funny...but has no idea that i know she looked. ugh!! ok...sorry...just had to get it outta my system, before i say something to her that is really negative!
thanks for listening! hope everyone is having a great day!!
Very niceJust got home and the mailman had left the following![]()

Andy
How far is Salem, Mass from Tysons Corner nearby Vienna, VA? Also, Colonial Williamsburg from Tysons Corner? I am on my way to see if I can catch some info from AAA. Also seeing what else I may have to plan for.
Talk to you all - I know I can research but figured my friends here on the DIS can answer these little biddy questions faster than I can find the answer.![]()
Salem, MASS is probably 7 hrs to TYSONS CORNER,, and then another 2-3 hrs to Williamsburg. Talk to my sister KAP158 about Williamsburg. She lives there. I live in Central NY and it takes us 9.5 hrs to go to Williamsburg. We went to DC last summer and that was 5 hrs .. and that is around TYSONS CORNER.. then another 2-3 hrs to Williamsburg down 95, 295 to 64 to 199..Easy driving but 95 out of DC can get congested. AAA will give you a trip tik. Good luck
Looks like Vienna is right outside Washington, D.C.? I mapquest it & it says 472 miles, 8 hours 19 mins., but we're right near Salem & I honestly don't think I've ever made it that fast due to traffic. Maybe more like 10 hours, but add even more if traffic is really bad. It shouldn't be more than 2 1/2 hours from Williamsburg.
NiceWon this for DH on Ebay...figured it will change up his tux a little for the 2nd formal night.
