Finally a decent weeked for us!!! I am going to spend the rest of the day sitting outside in a lawn chair!! Work is all done and I am going to catch up on my Stpehen King books I have not read!!

My DS16 just got a Stephen King book from the library, I hope it likes it, he reads about a book every few days, so it is hard for me to keep enough books in the house for him. We counted the Stephen King books at the library and we counted over 30, that should keep him set for at least a month if he likes the one we got!!!

Oh, and yes, I added make Chicago reservations to my to do list...I saw you remind me about that at the end of the last thread! I am really excited to do that!!!! SO EXCITED to meet a few of you in person!

I'm still frustrated not knowing my stateroom number. I talked to reservations today and they said it could be up to the day of sailing before we know the stateroom. Are they going to attach a trailer to the back of the ship if they have run out of rooms. We're guaratee cat. 5. It seems it would be easier to assign cabins than to field all the questions. I have a Royal Caribbean cruise for next Feb. with only a deposit and have a stateroom and have had the stateroom assigned on every other cruise I've ever booked. I wish they would tell us what the problem is!

Hang in there, I can understand the frustration, but try not to worry about it!

In reviewing the Westbounders thread, I would say that most of them got their rooms assigned about 30 days prior to sailing. From what I gather reading the boards etc, is that they don't assign rooms so that they have flexibility in what they can sell. It may be alot easier for them to sell a Category 5 than say a Category 4. So what they would do is sell the Cat. 5 and then upgrade you for FREE to a Cat. 4. They are just giving themselves some flexibility as we get closer to sailing.

Anyway, good luck waiting and keep an eye on the boards, as you will notice, it seems like half of our group is GTY, so there will be a big deal made once rooms start getting assigned.

I have read the same reviews you have about the excursion. Some say it's the best thing in Puerto Vallarta and others say it's a Booze Cruise.

From what I've read, the actually dinner and show are great. The hour long boat ride there and the hour long boat ride back are both booze cruises which is why we're thinking about taking the city tour instead.

OK, is this a dress up event like pirate night? If so, what are you ladies going to wear? DH will wear his tropical Mickey shirt - am I expected to turn up in a grass skirt?????

I have a mickey hawaiian dress and Brendan has the matching shirt..I am hoping to wear that but...I need to lose a bit more in the tummy area so I feel comfortable in it..(It fits but I am paranoid..ya know what I mean ladies!)

I used to work for DEC in Reading. Bought a house in Woodley (Buccaneer Close - I think - sold long ago) back in 1987. I've been over in California for nearly 19 years now.

When I was that age I got grounded from the library for a week......... I was 15min late for dinner because I lost track of time at the library..... It was a block from our house.

I haven't but, dh spent a week in Cabo a couple of years ago (deep sea fishing) and he went by and took a pic..... I'll get him to find it and I'll post if for you!!

Don't worry,we've been booked since day 1 and we're still riding in the life boats! We're Cat 6.
