That is a good one! Works for DS9 - he asked us a few months ago what he is.... My father and I spent over 1/2 hour trying to figure it all out DH is probably English/French on one side and is definitely German on the other. I am a mixup of English/Irish/Scottish/German/Danish/Russian.

I was wondering if any of the "local" (anyone willing to drive here) Disers would be interested in having a mini-meet BBQ at my place in July. I live about 15 minutes North of Disneyland and thought it would be fun..let me know.I am looking at July 12th.

I am mostly Italian with a small amount of German. DD is almost 50% Italian (with that small amount of German) on my side and on her Father's side she is English and American Indian.

Asking to remove a bad review that's fair is unreasonable. Asking someone to ammend it after compensation is offered to demonstrate a positive response by the cruise line to compensate them for their trouble would be fair, however it seems like RCCL is more upset by that than the original bad review?

By this measure, DCL's responses to the numerous booking complaints has been quite benign. As far as I know, Tom is the only person officially on the trouble maker's list.

(Personally, I find this surprising, as I myself have a history of getting on pretty much any trouble-maker's list available. It's just been difficult to pull it off with DCL because everytime I hit them with a tough challenge, they ultimately come through with flying colors....)

I agree- it sounded like to me they didn't like them telling anyone how they were compensated- which I could understand... not wanting other people to try to get the same kind of compensation by complaining. But either way they didn't help themselves- it comes across as trying to "quiet" any complaints and keep ppl from knowing about any issues previous cruisers have had and whoever banned them really isn't that bright. I mean they already knew these people were big mouths telling everyone their bad experiences and how much compensated/etc. they should have THOUGHT about how big this would be when they banned them! Now looky- even people like myself who never saw the complaints now knows all about how they complained and now are banned. Yanno? banning the complainers only got them more noticed- and negatively for RCCL in my opinion.

My mom always said, "don't ask me any more questions, you ungrateful little brat", but maybe that was just me.

Ok, so not local, but depending on money/job, I may drive down for this. We've got APs burning a hole in our pocket. I expected to be able to take some weekend jaunts otherwise I would not have upgraded to Premiums.

Waiting for the finals of DWTS. didn't Disney fly Joey and Kim out to the Med last year? Think they will do the same with the LA cruise???.As soon as this is over need to dash to the airport.

Yep - they were on the 1st Med cruise. I am watching DWTS right now... I am pulling for Kristi. I could just look it up online, but choose to wait and watch.
