G'mornin' pirate:s
I am so far behind this week it isn't funny. DS7's birthday is tomorrow and I have none of the stuff I need (including time) to make his birthday dinner. Baseball tonight, baseball tomorrow night, DH is out of town so I'm ducking out of work early every day this week since he usually picks the kids up. It's not like I punch a timeclock or anything, but someone is going to notice I'm running out at 4:45 every day for a week. Oh and I have a board meeting across town in the middle of the day today, so I think I'll be in the office for 57 minutes today.
UGH.

Everything is booked, can't we just go now??
Rant over.

and the scrunchie in her hair

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Julie is a New Yorker. I think her body would reject a scrunchie!

Sorry about that :headache: ...looks like I will definately be needing one of those "designated walkers" to get back to my cabin each night

Or you will have some very close friends in that cabin after 15 nights.

By the way Deanna, I've been dying to know, does your name rhyme with banana or tina?

It rhymes with Bucky. :)

Lisa....the same thing happens to me!

And I have NEVER worn a blue vest to Walmart, I swear!

:lmao: :lmao:
I love how the vests say "May I help you" or whatever on the back. Pretty much every WalMart worker I've ever been in contact with either mumbles in English or mumbles in another language. Regardless I can't understand them.

I don't go to WalMart, but I think I might need a t-shirt with "Yes! You can help me" on the back.

Went to Sweet Tomatoes!!! :worship: It is Strawberry Month.  I had yummy strawberry salad, lime chicken soup, strawberry mousse, strawberry muffins, and strawberry - apple cobbler and a few hundred other things!!:cloud9: :cloud9:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Sweet Tomatoes! I wish we had them around here.
Gotta love a place where you can eat 2500 calories worth of salad!

Okay....now I am singing Cher -Half Breed- in my head. Someone please give me something else....quick!

IIII'm 'enry the 8th I am
'Enry the 8th I am Iam

Great! :sad2: I was just telling the girls how much I miss the smell of Main Street.

It smells fine in the morning when everyone is still neat and pretty.

Ok, I'm tired...I just saw them as a celebration not as answering the question

Sometimes a celebration is an answer to a question.

Can anyone tell me or has seen on the blog from the E/B the wine prices and list. Need to know how to plan the cost of this also.

Bren

I don't have the regualr wine list, but here is Laura's info about the wine package:

M, the wine packages from the first night are all locked up but I was told the prices - for the classic package for a 7 day is $189 and the 7 day premium is $293. For the 15 day he told me that if you ordered on the FIRST DAY only - you got 14 bottles plus 1 bottle free to make 15. If it is not ordered then you only get the 14 if ordered on another day. The price for the classic is. $374. The Premium is $578. I managed to reappropriate a 7-day pamphlet ( ) which I can post the wines later. But they've got the white wines and sparkiling wines and red wines. Any one in particular you are looking for - just pm with me your favorite. I am trying to locate an opening day pamphlet.

Wine package list from December 2007:

Wine List from May 2008:

If you can't read these, google Disney Cruise Line Wine Package - a fan site has all the menus etc, but I guess they've been banned since I can't post a link. :sad2:

Lucky you . I had to turn my heat on today.. A mere 62*in the house this morning..:upsidedow

So much for the middle of MAY. My pool is opened but it looks more like a ice rink...

I really hope 'mousehouseman' refrains from commenting on this. It's the type of setup that could get John in trouble for a long time...

This is why she needs me to proof read. Didn't you mean PM'S and not PMS? What am I going to do with her.
Godda luv her.

John

Morning John..............

Got home from the airport at 1:30 and right to sleep. 2 late nights in a week. DS was in San Francisco Monday and thought the city was great. Ate at the Wharf.Good time had by all. Glad he is back.

Looking very dismal. I have not heard anything from any of the jobs I've bid for both within my current company and outside. Not even a no thank you letter. :sad2:

:grouphug: :grouphug: I sure hope you love whatever new job you get:flower3:

Here are a couple pictures from my remodeling. It seems to me to be going slow, but I guess it is because we have had so much rain. Painting on the rest of the exterior should be starting by Friday.

I feel like I am the only one that does not know anyone. I know Ohana Family (David and Robin) through DIS Meets through the years but that is it.
But- I also know it will take no time at all for all of us to be like old friends. :thumbsup2

2004 was my first time participating in a cruise meet thread. After that, I have never cruised or gone to WDW without knowing/meeting up with someone I had met previously from the DIS boards. With all the people participating in this thread I suspect the same will be true for you too :thumbsup2

My brother used to call me "ugly" with affection and when a friend at college called me that (jokingly) I just got this wave of homesickness:lmao::lmao:

You know, while I was typing/remembering this last night I kinda got a warm, fuzzy feeling too :goodvibes . I miss my Dad.
Waiting for the finals of DWTS. didn't Disney fly Joey and Kim out to the Med last year? Think they will do the same with the LA cruise???.As soon as this is over need to dash to the airport.

This is exactly what I was thinking, since Disney owns the show!

They are on GMA Live right now in NYC. I guess they haven't had much sleep

I was wondering if any of the "local" (anyone willing to drive here) Disers would be interested in having a mini-meet BBQ at my place in July. I live about 15 minutes North of Disneyland and thought it would be fun..let me know.I am looking at July 12th.

:listen: :listen: :listen: What date was that.....August 16th. BBQ for 200+ DISers you say??? PARTY :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hi all--

Finally paid up and confirmed on the cruise! Hope to meet many of you on this 15-day aquatic extravaganza!

:welcome: :welcome: Welcome, and congrats on being PIF!!

Thanks, MrsScooby. I got a quote of $96 at the Sunrise Hotel. Anyone heard of it?

That's a great rate. tripadvisor has mixed reviews.

Today is HUBBYs Birthday and I was gone all weekend.. went to get his gift last night and they were sold out.. He has to wait until later today... Better late than never.. He will like the gift either way..

:bday: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DH :bday:

Or you will have some very close friends in that cabin after 15 nights.

:scared1: :scared1:

So, do you have your formal wear picked out yet? Some of us were commenting how ugly the dresses are this year.

Dress shopping, ugh, never pleasant. Knowing me, I'll probably wait to the last minute and whine that I can't find anything.
At least I have a pirate night outfit courtesy of my husband(Peter/darthrugby)
