I hope it wasn't ME that is the family you're talking about that wasn't interested? ack! LOL I don't remember not being interested but I remember something about some get together that we couldn't make because it was on a sunday or something like that- I've slept since then so it's hard for me to remember the details. LOL
Oh... bummer. I'm so sorry!
LOL
I have a feeling I'm BIP to a lot of people. I wonder if people use the name BIP if OTHER people who hear it will look at me funny. like thinking that's my real name or trying to figure out what kind of nickname that is or something? LOL
I am so happy for you (cancer free woohoo

)
Everything else is great too.
I could relate to the part about the pool- that's the same way it is here.. DH only has to get the mechanics working and keep them working- I do everything else that pertains to the pool. Recently we realized the 2nd pump that makes the bottom cleaner thing move around stopped working. Took some nagging but finally got him to fix it- good thing he's mechanically inclined like that!
that's great about the school too. Yeah I'm procrastinating a bit about talking to our schools too. but push comes to shove- we're still going on the cruise. I talked to Ruby's band director- he's cool with her missing part of the summer band camp- haven't talked to the school though. ditto with the younger two but I'm procrastinating mostly because I also have to talk to the principal about the classroom placement for my son next year- because this year DID NOT WORK well.... last year at the previous school did work well (previous year to that, 2nd grade, didn't work well)- and my point is now I know what works for him and what doesn't work is having him in a class with only 3 girls- the rest boys and quite a few of them major trouble makers (like to the point they got suspended several times). My son didn't get suspended but he got in trouble all year- he can't be in a classroom full of trouble making boys! Too much of a follower trying to be "liked" I suppose. the year (3rd grade) he was in the advanced class (that they had at the other school- long story but suffice it to say the different elementaries do things "differently"- one school has an advanced class and dual language program and one teacher for the kids thru 5th grade, this school doesn't have the dual language program (just a spanish class once a week), does the multiple teachers (one for each subject pretty much) thing, and doesn't have an advanced class/etc. ANYWAY the year he was in the advanced class all the kids were quiet, well behaved, mellow, etc. and he followed suit- excellent behavior marks all year long. yanno? some kids can't just IGNORE other kids constantly misbehaving. He learned a lot of bad things this year- some I'm still trying to stay in denial about so I won't discuss. LOL
ugh boys.......
