There was a question a while back about changing categories and if Disney will charge prevailing rates or go by the date that the cruise was first booked

I was able to change two reservations a few weeks ago to a different category and holding the price as it was when they were first booked.

As of today they are not allowing that anymore it will be prevailing rates
I think it has to do with so many new categories showing up

It looks like Panama is in the EST time zone, but doesn't practice daylight savings time, so they would be on CDT which is EST

So Central Daylight Savings Time?

I just captured this and if you notice the time on there is 2 hours ahead of us PDT. So CDT

oh no.... how can this be? refurbishing this thru the summer months and for so long? My youngest DD just asked me LAST NIGHT if they have IASW and I told her ofcourse.

At least you'll still be able to see what an amazing difference there is between the one at Disneyland and the one at WDW....from the outside, anyway.
The inside is the same. Now they're making all of the boats bigger to accomdate the growing population. Or should I say the population's growing backsides??

I just heard from a high source that Mario Lopez will be on the EB giving dance lessons.....

Just checked the DCL site - interesting

If I plug in 2 adults - no insurance/air

only a CAT10 is available for $5597.58

However if I plug in 2 adults + 2 kids 12/13 - no insurance/air

A CAT 10 = $9055.16 and a CAT9 = $10155.16 is available.

Did it twice and same results.
Weird....

I just heard from a high source that Mario Lopez will be on the EB giving dance lessons.....

No interest in learning to ballroom dance, but if it means I can drool....er I mean learn from Mario, I'm there!

When I left my apartment this morning, there was police warning tape all around, lots of police and police cars, etc. It turned out that there was a raccoon (a pretty big one) hanging out in the tree right in front of our building. Now some of you may see lots of raccoons, but this is the first time I have seen one on the Upper East Side. They eventually shot a tranquilizer into him and caught him in a net to take to animal control. I am hoping they will release him somewhere out of the city rather than euthanize him -- he was pretty darn cute. I took some pictures but don't know if they turned out. If so, I will try to post a few later.

My BIL lives in Riverdale overlooking the river and outside his building there was a family of Raccoons and someone was feeding them regularly . Freaked me out when I parked the car and had them staring at me.

As far as the entertainment , I will probably be happy anyway. Don't get out much So if Mario is giving dance lessons hopefully my camera will be there as well.

DH and I were talking about how the final of DWTS is next week and last year the winners were flown over to the Med. I'm betting the same will happen with the WB.

This will be fun if it kills me.......................

Also, the Wish List is still messed up. It still has my Med Wish List even though I removed all those last week and added a few for this cruise.

thanks for the link...gotta get one for the kids. my dd is def interested in reading about the canal, and i think oldest ds will be if he sees her reading the book first....you know, he'll want to read it so she can't!

Anyone know of any good books for younger kids? My son will be 6 soon, he reads at a fairly high reading level but is still a little kid and get turned off by books that have too many words on a page vs. pics.

i'm looking for one for a 5 yr old too....anybody find something yet?

I bring mine in a photo mailer....the hard envelope things. And I use that to bring home my Shutters photos so they don't get bent.

But I do put the magnets on at home. I just make sure I've let the paper dry for a couple of days, put the magnets on, and put them into the hard envelope.

My DD lemonade stand arrived today from Sunkist - she is thrilled and wants to have a lemonade sale immediately..I told her we had to wait until the weekend!

dd was bummed to learn that IASW will be closed, but i think we may have convinced her to try a few other rides! my dk's are all pretty chicken when it comes to rides at the park. they'd rather see the characters....which is why we started cruising!

That was such a sweet deal last year. I jumped on the Cat 12 when they lowered the price. Ended up in a 9 when I finally got assigned. But I agree with you, we won't see that this time.
