WOW   gone most of afternoon & evening and come back to this? Glad I marked off where I left off. I had asked some questions earlier now I need to find.

This is a great idea...

... only problem with my reading material is I don't know if anyone would be intested in my SciFi / Fantasy yarns.

SF/Fantasy is most of what I read - I'd be glad to participate in some sort of Dislibrary.

:lmao: :lmao: Be careful on what you wish for. It just may come true.:lmao: :lmao:

   ***PIF***
Doing the PIF Happy Dance. Of course this is just from the TA. I will have to wait to make sure Disney has it posted. Our flights are booked through Disney so TA says we won't know times until mid July. I have nightmares of leaving at 5 AM with a bunch of layovers or not arriving in LA until mid afternoon. Waiting is so hard.
I have to send my laptop back to HP and probably won't have it for the 19th.:headache:  Our desktop is so slow and it is in the bedroom so I guess DH is staying up with me. But the warranty expires in June and I want it for TOAL so I can download pictures.
I finished my FE. I just have to take some pictures and post. It came out pretty well I think. Pirate fabric as the background and Mickey/Minnie heads on the pockets with a pirate flag and pirate chest.

Congrats it's a good feeling being paid in full.:cheer2: :cheer2:

We are going to book the dinner on Aug 22 no matter what as that is our anniversary

Good for you !!! Congrats and enjoy every moment.:thumbsup2

Thank uou Andrew ! I just printed it off to look over later. The Villa WOW !

Yes I use Dreams and got mine direct, not a lot in it though! More on the website.

I didn't think it had any addtional information that everyone didn't know anyway.:confused3

I just got off with Disney Visa as they have not added my extra X 5 rewards for the months of January and February!!! I am getting them to audit my entire account!!!

Oh, good point. We paid off part of the cruis early to grab those extra rewards... I'd better go check.

Just called to cancel my niece from the TOAL. There were a few friends I asked to take her place, but it was either too expensive or too long away. When I pulled up my ressie online after we finished, I had a real room!!! I'm out of the GTY cabin and into my very own Cat 6 with a 4 digit number and everything!!

CONGRATULATIONS!! We're still GTY here. :sad2:

I probably truly don't belong on the Dis, because I have never traveled with duct tape! When you find I never post again, realize that I have been unceremoniously escorted from the Disboards and told never, ever to return . . .

Why would you need to when you travel with a crew that's got a little of everything.

 Now, if we could just get ourselves organized, think of how much luggage we could leave behind... four people bring duct tape, ten first aid kits, three bring safety pins...

Well, there was never any chance that Cheryl was getting my extra lobster tail anyway. Like there'd even be an "extra" lobster tail.

Hate them. Someone is welcome to mine.

Guess I'll just wander off to the shunned portion of the ship now. Gettin' mighty crowded there. :rotfl2:

Is that what also happened to the cherry pits?:rotfl:

I thought you grow a cherry tree in your stomach?:confused3

That's what mine said too. But it must take a really, really long time 'cause I'm still waitin'!

OK, don't you know I just bought a $50.00 bottle of emu oil and after the 2nd surgery last Friday don't you know he wnats me to use something different now. :sad2: Now he wants me to use "Silicone sheeting". Can't wait to find out how much that is going to cost me.

Hum.... A can of silicon spray from the hardware store and an old pillow case? :rolleyes1

Linda knows way more than she wants to at times.

Besides, it a sad and tortured tale, what with the thick pane of glass separating us.

aw what a cutie !:)

insp_continuity_preview.jpg

OK... all kidding aside ... I must protest your remarks. As they're embarassing me into reclusive shame...

.. and let me volunteer (vaguely) that I am no stranger to being imprefect.

OK... my "reclusive shame" has now vanished.

As such... I think there's very little I understand of this life. Only that it seems we all have a little room left for surprising our loved ones and total strangers with unusual kindness, unexpected patience and suprising rascally gestures. Hence my recent purchase of the custom made bobble head for my dear spouse.

So you see,...

.... I am not without my wierd, suspicious but otherwise INNOCENT inclinations... and for the record, it's really really tough to buy for someone who won't like / won't want a lot of things that are typicla gifts ... so after the 24 years of hangin' with Alicia... I'm getting down to buying custom made bobble head dolls for my girl.

I think I see a new nickname for you.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rolleyes1

SF/Fantasy is most of what I read - I'd be glad to participate in some sort of Dislibrary.

Well... what do ya kno...

... I have some sci fi files from books on CD too. So ... if ya don't mind LISTENING to some - I'd be happy to download to your MP3 player if ya have capacity ... and / or I'd be happy to swap books with you or anyone else.

Wow..I got an actual response via phone from DCL! ok..it's not the response I wanted but hey..it's an actual answer!

My Mom's and my reservation are linked and at first they told me I could book both this weekend..then they came back and said no..only mine. But they do show us PIF! so that was something I couldn't get out of the previous CM. We are trying to make sure we are on the same excursions..so now the conundrum is deciding if I want to wait until the 19th and book it all together or hope for the best and do mine first.

I think my head is going to explode! :headache:

Just a thought...........if you wait till the 19th there is no way for sure knowing you can both get the same. Better to have something then not at all?

At the end of this month, I'm celebrating my 25th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood. Today, my school children surprised me with a special anniversary "lunch with the pastor" Disney style.
Here I am, walking my Mousekeeters around the building to the gym, where we all ate lunch.

And, of course, what would be a celebration without cake for the kids! :)

What a lovely celebration. Looks like you & the kids had fun. Congratulations on 25 years.:thumbsup2

Think we might have solved the Ocean Quest puzzle...

DH says he distinctly remembers doors back into the "guts" of the ship from the Ocean Quest area. We figure, with the ship being sold out, and Ocean Quest being so small, they're going to put the 11-13 yo crowd to work. (Big enough to get something useful done, but not as much attitude as the teens... yet.) Possibly three or four crews - dishwashing, laundry, garbage sorting, and one crew playing in OQ - to keep appearances up - ya know?

We figure they'll be so tired, they'll come back to their cabins and collapse. No 11yo packs wandering loose around the ships. Brilliant.

That, or it'll be Lord of the Flies, and we'll wind up in Hawaii.

Question:

Answer (non-answer?)

Question:

Non-answer - at least seems to be equal to Mike and Rogers:

I always wanted to work for Disney............Somehow I am glad I don't now.:rolleyes1

Anyone up for a friendly little sprint?

Oh so now I hear about this. o.k fine I will quote one quote at a time.:lmao:

Just popping in to say I'm down to double digits. I'm arriving on August 10. Only 99 days to go!!!!! :dance3:

Hope everyone is fine. I have been trying to follow the thread, but just can't keep up with you fine folks.

I was there from 1982 to 1990. I just missed you guys there--Winters were easier there than here in VA. They take better care of their roads:rolleyes: I think I was allergic to the lilacs though. I was so miserable every September:confused3
I know what you mean about the winters and the roads.....we spent 5 years in MD! It was amazing how little s**w it took to shut things down!:)

On Cruise Critic, the guy that runs the port said that for the special morning shows, it's usually around 8:30am. These tours will go to the divers first, then do the city or fort. Most of the shops and such don't open until about 9am.

This is one port I didn't make any plans for due to the time. I hope this is true.

ooh well...

Guess this might take a few days then....

That's right at least 2 days. Nighty night.:rolleyes1

Time to actually do some work .. gotta run and deliver some Avon and a contract for a party....have a great afternoon!

Now I know I am behind in reading because it's already the next day for me.:rotfl2:

I've left the tip on the table for them. -- I make sure it is very noticable. ;)

I like to personally hand it to them and say Thank you but I like your idea also.

Thanks, I guess that you won't be getting my extra lobster tail. :rotfl2:

You could always give to your new best friend me.:rolleyes1

Attention both Toms...Roger and Mike!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got word that Disney Studios was changing their name to accomodate several peeps who have been sending e-mails about the EBPC. It is called......

logo_spykids5a.jpg

Thanks Cheryl that explains the email I got today.:rotfl2:

No way we are being bought out either. Even though we only booked in December. The next 105 days until we go can't go fast enough for me right now.

ditto & ditto & ditto :thumbsup2

You all are moving to fast!!! Or I am just slow this week? OK I think it is me...

Have had one heck of a week....hopefully I didn't miss anything too terrible important! I will try to do better! LOL

Is it time to cruise yet?

Chrissie

Almost time..........get your fingers ready to type fast on the 19th
