Hi Everyone!
Once again, I was off the DIS this week - things are just too busy both at work and home! Work has slowed down this morning (I'm starting to think no one else is working on Friday's!) so I have just finished ketchup. Since the old thread is locked, you have all been spared a huge multi-quote
Just a few quick comments from the last thread:
What's with all the bunnies with stuff on their heads? Doesn't the SPCA have something to say about this?
Shoes - I so totally agree about flats (and
Crocs!). I have totally flat feet and wearing heals is downright painful. I don't think I own anything above 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch heel. However, I can't really wear flipflops either - no support - so I mostly live in athletic shoes with custom orthotics and my Crocs. Definitely a problem for dressy shoes!
Steph5 - I have a "short kid" also. It varies a little, but he is usually one of the 3 shortest in his grade at school. I am 5'3" and DH is 5'8" so I don't expect he'll ever be tall (Although it is possible since my DF's family tends to be tall with VERY late growth - like the great uncle who went off to WWII at 5'8" and returned home at 6'4".)
I loved the description of "Posh Spice" at the gymnastics class! The part about trying to get a picture next time cracked me up. There used to be a DISer that had a website with photos of "bad shoes" at WDW - once we heard about it, we started watching for "bad shoes" also. DS was used several times in order to get photos of the shoes....
M - I LOVE the Kid Journal stuff. I've done Journals for DS for past cruises, but your's look better than mine! Right now, I am swamped (Work, PTO Stuff, Garden club plant sale stuff & getting ready for DS's crazy-huge bday party next weekend!) but the work of it will be over around mid-May. If you still need any volunteers after that, I can join in then.

Whatever you do, DO NOT look in his backpack.
In my world, school folder and library books go in. School folder and library books come out. I'm afraid to dig any deeper.
This is Soooo true! I had to get some of the c**p out of DS's backpack just this morning - they are having a talent show in his reading class and I had to get his step-dance shoes into the backpack, so some of the garbage had to come out!
