Second, here is to DCL actually getting our theme nights figured out by 5/3!:cool1: :cool1: :dance3::banana: :dance3:

By the way, I accessed my wish list on the DCL site tonight . . . I had put it together before all the recent issues (before the change from fishies to a swimming Mickey!) but I thought someone said they had been unable to access a previously completed wish list. If so, try again . . .

It was me Julie!!! :thumbsup2 My wish list appeared but I could not add or delete!!! I just tried now and it is working!!!!:worship:  :dance3: :woohoo: :cool1: :yay:

Thanks!!! Andrew needs to try now!!!:rolleyes1

I don't have one...:headache:

Closest one would be Dulles for us....

The one near where we lived in Wmspt, Pennsyltucky didn't have Wine due to PA liquor laws..(liquor/wine is only sold in state run stores)

That sounds alot like Utah:scared1: (no offense to anyone who lives in Utah!)

Found you Guys!

Haven't checked to see if our flight prices were going up(Virgin America, interesting name) but our flight from NYC to LAX were $200. brand new planes, the prices were rising thought right before we booked a few months ago. Funny. We have our plane tix's but still GTY.

Peter, I went ahead and booked. $169 for Dulles to LAX. Then I realized that they charge for meals. Is this becoming the trend as well as the extra baggage fees:confused3 (I don't travel a lot, can you tell:rolleyes: )

Anyway, have you flown on Virgin America before ? Are their meals worth buying or are we better off bringing on some sandwiches:confused3

Kris my DM likes the one in Dulles better than Fairfax. It is a bit bigger. I think they have wine tastings there. I haven't been to the Dulles one since they opened a Wegmans in Fairfax.

Love their chocolate and pastry shops too:cloud9:

Yeah my diet is going great:rolleyes:

Hey Crew, I found you over on the new thread! Let's see, a quick update on the topics at hand....

No cabin #, still GTY.

Airfare has gone up $45 for our MCO-SMF return, and $9 for the trip to LA (SMF-SNA). So, no great shakes there.

Shore Ex...
Cabo is a sailboat charter (with M)
PV is zip lines with the Crew (but at 2pm)
Acapulco is wander around and see what's what
Aruba is a dive/snorkle charter (with Sarangel)
Cartagena we'll probably wander around, still figuring that one out.

So, no DCL shore ex to book. Still figuring out Palo, spa, etc.

Hope to have the t-**** pre-order website up and running tomorrow, will be asking a few folks to test it out before we open it up to the rest of the crew.

Taking our new (used) pop-up out for her shake down cruise this weekend. A membership campground gave use 2 free nights if we listen to their talk. We'll show up with our three dogs, and they'll think better of it... ;)

Oh, and yesterday morning, I dropped DS6 off at Kindergarten. While waiting in the Kindergarten yard, I had the singular experience of having him empty his coat pockets into my hands…

An Easter Egg Shell, crushed to small bits, Pink
A lump of yellow beeswax for shaping
A bit of wool, undyed, stuck to the beeswax
A piece of twig
The remains of a ski lift ticket
The wire from the ski lift ticket, re-bent to a new use (use unknown)
Two pieces of tree bark, one large, one small
A small piece of felt, yellow
A small white stone, vaguely shaped like an arrowhead
A small piece of shiny silver Mylar, with most of the shine rubbed off

Such are the ingredients of boyhood.
.

Wow, another new thread. Hopefully I can keep track on this one. You guys talk too much.....

Anyways, this week I just added on the Backstage Magic trip from Adventures by Disney to make this trip even better (and longer and more expensive) for me!

That's great! I would LOVE to do that tour.
And I know what you mean about making it better, longer and more expensive. I just added on a week of free dining at WDW when I get off! I am too impulsive, and could not resist :rolleyes1

Brings back fond memories Esteri!!!:thumbsup2

BTW.....thanks for all your work on the t-****.

This would be (if my math is right) post # 98013 so post # 1989 on this thread would be our 100,000 post???

Anyone up for a friendly sprint to 1989 AKA 100,000?

OK... let me go and I'll behave... really i will....

Will someone tell these guys to let me go pleeeeze????

No but enjoyed Virgin Atlantic. I really wanted to fly them out to LA but would have to fly to either Dulles or NY.:confused3

...[ed]....

You most certainly are NOT referring to ME are you?

Seeing as I rarely post much verbage and engage more so in the visual stuff...

At first I thought..wow..I'm not that many posts behind...then I tried to "quote" and couldn't...finaly came across that the thread was locked...took me a moment but figured it out (had highlighting done tonight..maybe it fried what brain I have left)

So...today I get a phone call from a DCL Supervisor about the VR..he says "good news!" I have the person who you can speak to...he then proceeds to give me the name and number of the representative who told me that there isn't anything I can do about it except wait! I thanked him politely and said "she is the one who sent me to you!" So... no resolution..I will just go and enjoy my day and it will work out! :wizard:

Thank you to everyone who offered their table and good thoughts..it will work out.

If I had thought about it at the time..I should have asked about Mass and the theme nights but I wasn't thinking straight (DCL forgot about the time difference!)

Have a great Friday everyone!

Desiree

Once - soon after United did away with in flight meals and charged for thier "snack boxes".... we brought on board a take out Chinese dinner featuring a giant whole lobster. It was a riot as the flight crew paused to gawk at it. We only did so because we had dinner the nite before at this restuarant - and decided something like what wasserved at a neighboring table looked far too good not to try - so we odered a couple new dishes including the lobster. Even though it was reheated the brough on board warm - it was far better then those insulting snack boxes.

I think I'm crazy. I booked the tour that starts the after AFTER the cruise ends.... Take 15 days getting away from LA and then Im right back there the next day giving Disney more money! Yay!

Ok, its not as crazy as it seems, I live in Anaheim, so Im not flying back to LA for just a tour after just leaving there. I am crazy for booking the tour given how much I already go to Disneyland and have done a lot/most of the things on the tour.
