It has the same info I got on my last cruise. Lots of generic info. Gifts you can buy.Overview of ship , clubs, etc...insurance plan, and a page for those of us wanting to rent the mens formal wear with prices.$95 for the black or white outfit plus what the extras cost.

This is the cover

Tom- I think you misunderstood my question... I was asking WHO is going on the buses. I already saw the info/ know how to contact them about the bus. That wasn't my question........

Count us in.

We're on the bus! Just wish it was tomorrow.... i need a vacation.

-Penny

OK, So we are now back to FIVE hours in front of East Coast USA, and British Summer has officially started! Weather though is an early 'April showers' now.

We spent yesterday at the Cherry Blossom Festival with about 400,000 other people. It was insanely crowded. We ended up walking about 15 extra blocks becuase some of the Metro stations were so packed that they stopped letting people in. Fun...

Anyway, here are a few pics:

We had this Chipotle place open up...tried it and DELICIOUS!

Oohhh, step AWAY from the giant burritos. I love giant burritos. That's a problem.

Afetr reading M's story about anatomically correct names, I don't think that I can look at this phrase the same way anymore!

:lmao: :lmao:

Great Croc Debate:

I have awful feet. I can't wear tennis shoes/sneakers/cross trainers because my feet are so flat. I wear them to work out for an hour, that's it. I'm a flip-flop, clogs kinda girl. I have a pair of Crocs. One pair. I wear them to the rink, if I run to the grocery store & around the house. They are sooo comfortable, but I can't bring myself to wear them in public. I will only wear them with pants. I have skinny legs and very narrow feet, so I have this huge Minnie Mouse thing going on if I wear them with shorts. Mine won't be on TOAL. I love flip flops.

HOW does a skater end up with "skinny legs"?????? (Is it too late to try whatever your secret is? I'm 43!)

Is that an OU thing?

Looks like you had good weather for the festival...great photos. No signs of spring here in Ohio yet.

Crocs just introduced a bunch of new styles. Take a look at www.crocs.com - I think "Adara" looks nice. I have a pair of "Cleo" from last summer and people don't even realize I'm wearing crocs - I've had folks ask "where are your crocs?" when I am wearing them!

Pamela
You're right, lots of different styles:thumbsup2 I haven't looked at everything, but the Santa Cruz look cute.

I hate shoes because none are comfortable but... I have to have a black dress show for the cruise. I tried on a pair of Softt black wedges that I was astounded how comfortable they were. I truly feel like I could wear them for hours. Here is the link:
http://www.thewalkingcompany.com/Co...search&criteria=All&text=sofft&oldpagetag=All

I am not 100% in love with them but I think they meet all of my criteria for comfort and not too ugly.
Coral, I like those as well. I do have a pair of black dress sandals that are similar, but it may be time to replace them;)

I didn't realize I would start a world wide debate by posting a birthday greeting to a friend! :lmao: I just thought it was a funny picture.

:lmao: Troublemaker;) ;)
BTW The pic was hysterical:thumbsup2

I was even thinking that Megan would be really comfortable with these under her wedding dress. Her colors ARE green and yellow afterall!

For those who missed it on the Part Four thread:

Stace, these are cute. I have crocs, & you're right they're fugly. I would never wear them with shorts.

Perhaps for formal night ??

Dang. That is closer to when I really wanted to go but MiL has other plans for Megan. We know it will be hot and crowded and we have been so many times before we are not going to push ourselves too much.

This is just a quick mini trip with just my parents and I. Though a nice thing to do...spend some quality time with them before Brendan and I get married. I know my mom won't go anywhere after 7pm...my dad will prob stay with her....I guess I will do the MK on my own! Single rider line here I come!

What pretty pics! I saw a report on the news and wondered if you went!

Burritos aren't my problem..I like soft tacos!

Not sure what the secret is...legs are the last to go (I know because everything else went!). Lots of skating, lots of aerobics classes, and I never take elevators under 6 floors.

Is that an OU thing?

:thumbsup2 Love the Burrito Buggy. And the Pizza Buggy.
Weather was beautiful yesterday, but not nearly as warm as it should have been. News says it was 46.

I saw a story on Good Morning America yesterday about the festival. I immediately thought of you M. How beautiful! Really puts a wonderful start on Spring.

Thanks for the link. They look very comfy.. I have BIG issues with shoes and not being able to find any that fit and are comfy and don't make my feet hurt and sore and the heels fall out.. ( I have very weird feet).. so this may work.. are they availalbe in a store or do you have to interenet them???

I found them at my local The Walking Company store. I truly was surprised how comfortable they were. I think it was the combination of the wedge heel and the padding. They also had rubber soles which I require in a cruise ship shoe. ;) My Brightons almost had me overboard once.
I have also seen a very selection at shoes.com. Price was about the same.
Also, they seem to reun pretty true to size too.

Just a drive by posting from work. In looking at the Sunday ads I was wondering. Has anyone done the Brita or Pur pitchers for the water rather than the cases of bottled stuff???? And how did it work out??? Back to :surfweb:
