First, Quiz?
and B, I realized when my son started writing how cruel I had been giving him an 11 letter first name..... Now tho, the way he behaves, should have been 15 letters![]()
Think positive... the new model is coming out, so the price will drop again![]()
FWIW. We are GYT and inquired about cat 4 avaibility (moving from a cat 5) and the best we could do was switch with a cabin looking to move down to a cabin 4 without any firm idea of cat 5 price. As the discussions went along the TA said it was a VERY long line of folks waiting to get on the ship.
For now we've decided to stay where we are.
Ironically, this was an article this Sunday in the paper. They listed some agencies to help. Eldercare Locator ..can point you towards agencies around the country concerned with the aging.. eldercare.gov 1-800-677-116
National Alliance for Caregiving, caregiving.org
We also have a company around town called Granny Nannies. Don't really know much about them but I remember they were written about with no negative feed back. Hopefully these sites can assist you further
Perhaps we should post evil Paris stories?
Or evil Atlanta stories?
Duly corrected I am blaming it on antihistamine overdose.
my brother had 21 letters in first & last name. He never got to fill in all of the squares on those standard documents
yeah, no sense in gettin' them all stoked about getting into college.
Please refer to my updated signature!
Thanks, we going to need it.Sorry the last few months have been a little rough!!The true meaning of how someone is loved comes out when there is sickness involved.

Thanks
That's what our counselor said too. Hope things go okay with your situation.to you.... As you may have read...My lovely "might not make it to 15 either" DD is in the same boat. (or off the same boat as the case may be). Right now, I'm not planning on DD joining us. I'm a little sad but as our current counselor says "She didn't earn the right to go."
Thanks, I'm sure things will work out in the end at least part of it. DH is really ticked off at his brother for not even helping.Margaret, I sure hope life calms down for you all. Sometimes we all get overwhelmed. Hopefully, you will find a solution for your MIL that works for your family. It really makes it hard when everyone that is able doesn't pitch in.![]()
What is it called when you hear something and then all of a sudden you keep hearing it everywhere?
Just saw this on cnn.com.
Great Web sites when aging parents need help

Thanks, I will check this out.
The donut was gone, btw.
We sure will need this TOAL. I can not wait.Welcome back & sorry you have a lot on your plate right now! Sounds like you'll be needing this TOAL when it comes!![]()
PM Laurie - MrsScooby to the tastings.
Thanks I will do that.
We're all dealing with ST (stinky teens for those that don't know) issues. Most here already know that my DS did not make it on the Transatlantic with me last year. He is really working hard to make it this year. Hang in there, and vent here when you need to.
Have you looked into elderly care for MIL? Around here they have day places, sort of like a kid's day care, but for older folks. It's not a residency program, but just something for them to do during the day. I expect that within a few years we'll be looking for options for my parents. Thankfully my brothers and sister are really good about pitching in.
I'm fairly certain that the registration form for hell is a bubble sheet.
...The way our stairs are, we have even looked into getting one of those chairs that can get her up and down, but we can't without it costing an arm and a leg.
i'm glad you found it! my dd has been asking if she has any email! she will be happy to hear from kylie when she gets time. That's a great new picture of the kids, Shannon!
BTW....I noticed today that the email your dd sent to Kylie went to my junk mail for some reason, so we hadn't seen it! I don't want you to think she was ignoring your dd. She will email back soon.![]()
Tgif!!!!
I understood they closed the waitlists, just release direct onto the website now, worth keeping an eye out, and speaking to DCL/TA, as we get clsoe to pay up time as people cancel.
Thanks in regards to the ST situation, I know a lot of people are having trouble with their ST. I am really glad that I only have a few more years to deal with ST, our oldest DS didn't give us this much trouble though. Although our oldest called us at 3:00A.M. eastern time to let us know him and his fiance were heading to the hospital, because they were looking into a UV light too long. DS knows not to as we work with UV lights all of the time and now DH is really upset over it.
We are starting to look into elderly care for MIL, but she can not leave the house unless DH is there to help her. She used to go out about 3 times a week to aerobics and to play cards with the seniours, but her legs won't let her anymore. We have stairs that she is slow going down, but can't get back up. The way our stairs are, we have even looked into getting one of those chairs that can get her up and down, but we can't without it costing an arm and a leg.
As always your comments are right on point.![]()
My Mom (age 82) lives with us, so I know where you are coming from. We had to move to a ranch style home (from a tri-level) because she can no longer handle the steps. She has severe arthiritis and moves very slow. I worry about her being home all day by herself, but other than the arthiritis she seems to be pretty healthy. She still does the laundry and helps me clean the house. It is tough some times, but she has lived with me for over 15 years now and I wouldn't have it any other day.
