Hope everyones Sunday is going well.......Just got home from Germany...So i'm still gettin used to DSL...........and a 6 hour time zone change !!!

I just put it in my signature so I don't have to keep quoting it for you.:thumbsup2

While you may find it a good idea to quote this repeatedly, I would like to point out that after JR and I agreed on something, Ohio and Kentucky had record March snowfalls, the northeast had floods.....

Do so at the peril of all those around you....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Yet we just had some rain here in PA. Maybe our Ohio and Kentucky pirates should add it to their signatures to be safe!:thumbsup2

that was me who wrote that Lisa..... Just trying to be more picturesque for the non-Philly crowd...

And trust me i know..... A hoagie should have an amoroso roll... Not some other baked bread...

Then again i don't think they even call them hoagies in Pitt..... Once you pass central PA they call them subs....

YUM - Now I want a WAWA hoagie. They are just not the same out here in CA as they were in Philly. Granted we have 2 cheesesteak places that get Amaroso Rolls here for their cheesesteaks. One is right next to my office. I try only to treat myself 1x a month.

From a Yahoo group:

Back in April 2007, me(Mike)and Jessica(Fiance) went to Disney. It was her first time. I asked her to marry me in front of Cinderella's castle. During our stay, we ran into a dream-squad cast member. We told her about our engagement, and how we were trying to get pins/lanyards for the year of a million dreams, since our dream came true. She told us to mail in our entry, every day, to the Year of a Million dreams contest. When we got home, we mailed in every day for a few months. We won pins and lanyards. Well, on Tuesday this past week, FEDEX delivered to me a package from the company that we mailed in our sweepstakes to. I opened it, and found a large hardcover book that said DREAM. Also, a soft cover book that said 2008/2009 vacation planning. I read the paperwork, and it said I was the winner of the Disney Vacation club!!! I had to fill out their paperwork and Fedex it back to confirm who I am. I won 220 points at the Saratoga Springs Resort until the year 2054. Disney is paying all of my fees and taxes. The total of my prize is $88,000!!! Its the grand prize in the Year of a Million Dreams giveaway. There are only 3 awarded, now only 2! This is certainly our dream come true!

But the burbs and the Delaware had flood issues....

I think you and your quote are causing it all by tempting the fates!:scared: :scared:

TroubleMAKER indeed!

They made silencers. And the school "resource officer" is a City of Scottsdale police officer. She took them to impound and we're told they're going to be "disposed of" properly.
No one told us or the science teacher that it's illegal to make them w/o some kind of government permit. Oops.
But they did earn a gold ribbon at the school's science fair and are now entered in the city science fair.

DH told them to make a still next year. Troublemaker. :stir:

Aww....

.. this sounds sooo sweet! And also it smacks of a SETUP! They've gone and undermined the confidence of the public in assuming this was a random drawing thing. Folks around the world are now tuning out of the sweapstakes - selling their stock in the company and leaping from thier office windows!

My parents are on yet another cruise and I stupidly offered to keep their dog while they were gone. :sad2:
Very, very sweet dog but he is blind and very old. This means that he runs into everything and he has to go outside every 2 hours- 24 hours a day!!! :scared1: It has only been 2 days and I am already in a coma.
We put much thought in the best place to put him but my house is a landmine. I have no clue how I am going to be able to cope when I start working tomorrow. My Mom swore he would just sleep all day in his bed- ha! Lie #1
Secondly she said he does not make any noise at night. Lie # 2. I realized there was a reason they started keeping him in their pantry- all the way across the house lately.
Next Sunday seems very far away.
I cannot imagine what I am going to do next year when they go on their "cruise around the world" for 4 months. I am sure I will end up in the funny farm.
God love this dog. He is a dachsand and I think around 15. They adopted him from a neighbor that could not afford to give him proper care 5 years ago.
He is blind due to a stroke so unfortunately there is not a surgery or medicine to help him.

I guess I didn't tell anyone here I resigned my position with Transportation Security Administration on the 3rd of February to return to corporate security, which is less stressful and better paid.:cool1: I was a Transportation Security Officer at Oakland International Airport. So this makes me a Former member of the Department of Homeland Security.

And I don't hate sausages in fact I love sausages.

hehe....I knew what it was, just wanted to through out some odd ball answers

I'm also traveling solo... sort of... I'm traveling with friends, but technically I'm solo. Does that make sense? Sorry sneaking in time on the boards while at lunch.... brain is fuzzy from work.
If you don't want to do Palo solo let me know.

Thanks for the offer - but I have already responded to got2travel (Palo Dinner) & Grandma x3 (Brunch & Tea) and put my name on their list.

This was the first time we have ever experienced it as well. This was in January.

And should all buy hats and get a flag to follow?

Glad you went back to corporate world!! Good luck at your new career!!:grouphug:

So who else is enjoying daylight savings time? The weather here was awesome today although for me it was still a little too cool for shorts and t-shirt althout we saw several people wearing that today. I'm sitting here at our kitchen table looking out west and watching the sunset over the Rocky Mountains and it's close to 7:30 p.m. This makes me realize that summer is getting closer!

Help me girls! What would you think if I had my dress cut down to more of a column/straight skirt? I have to bring it in for alterations anyway and I thought I'd play with the photo to see what it would look like. Doesn't look so much like a prom dress.

Hi all ... This has probably been discussed, but thought I would add my own snow woes!! We've broken records this winter. Between Friday night and Sunday morning, we had 37.5 cm or 14.8 inches of snow. So far this winter we have had 246 cm or just over 8 feet of snow. This is an all time high, beating out the previous record from 1923 -1924. 5 months to go! It better have stopped snowing by then!
