I just talked to DCL Sunday afternoon. I am linked with several couples for months now. I was told thay everyone will be able to get into their own reservation...however....the entire list of people will show up when you try to book an excursion. Just make sure you unlick the unwanted or just click on the people you are trying to book for!!!
A terrific CM named Jay(Jason) from the Castaway club told me this.

I was also told DCL is fully aware fo the problems with booking for the WBPC. The IT department is trying to resolve some issues. He is just telling everyone to just be patient while the fish are swimming.

My SIL (who lives in Lewisville) just sent me a picture of her car covered in snow. She called last night to say they sent them home from Bible Study because of the snow. Of course here in Ohio it was in the 60's yesterday and won't get out of the 30's today.

Oh how funny! Lewisville is a bordering town to Flower Mound. It is very unusual to have and frozen precipitation in March. My hydrangea's were budding so I hope this does not hurt them.

Laura that is adorable! I hope Goofy doesn't suffer anymore fainting spells. I have one of the Mickey big figures. He fell one day and lost his ear . Thank goodness for super glue. (someone that was doing work at our house had to knock him over--but he said he didn't) Enjoy!!

I have a totally unrelated question.
I am watching Good Morning America and they have a woman on (May Phay?) that was John Lennon's girlfriend in the late 70's.
They kind of said quickly that this was during the time John was having difficulty in his marriage to Yoko Ono. Did I get this right? John Lennon actually moved in and had an 18 month relationship with another woman while he was married to Yoko Ono?
I guess I am so naive. I had no clue someone could actually get away with moving in w/ the "other woman" and then go back.
I really do not like Yoko Ono so bully for John but did anyone else know this happened?

There are no old wounds but glad you are concerned. Andy just found our cruise conflicts with his daughter Angelina starting school next fall. He seems very nice and I am disappointed he is not traveling with us. He will spread his Magic on another cruise this year. He does manage to visit us over here a little.

I was not implying DCL was against him but just all of us trying to make this trip. I was referring to the new Mexico Port tax imposed on this trip as well as many other cruises. DCL was very generous to not add the new $100 per person PC tax but now we get hit with a new Mexico Port Tax.
Seems like we all just can't win!!

I just got the email from my Travel Agent about the increase in taxes. But, I can't pay off the cruise right now. I have the money for it in a CD and it doesn't come out until mid May. I just hope it earns enough interest to pay the difference...HA!

I know we have been to Flower Mound when we visit. SIL lives in Lewisville and FIL lives in Highland Village, so all pretty close together. My MIL passed away last year so we try to get to TX at least once a year to visit. In fact we will be there in early June for a visit. SIL and I are going on a weekend scrapbook retreat at a bed and breaksfast outside Ft. Worth while DH and FIL babysit her girls.

Math Alert!!!!​

Lets see ...I owe DCl about $6000.00 at 5% interest a year(mine is in a CD)that is $300 a year. The interest for a year is $300 divided by 12 equal $25 a month. I have a little over two months to pay it. I will be earning Over $50 interest for those two months. I owe DCL $5.00 a port x 3 ports = $15.00 times 2 people = $30.00. The interest of $50 minus the $30 in port taxes means I am still $20 ahead by not paying off early!!!! I will not be paying my money early.

How fun going to the scrapbook getaway. I used to but when we went 100% digital I just never learned the online tools (got them- just never bothered to learn them ). That is a very nice DH and FiL.

Just passing through. TOnite at the local Agoura Hills Library they're marking a Dr Seuss birthday of some sort - so I'm taking the kids over to join in group readings, refreshments and games. Then tomorrow I'm planning on taking my older daughter and a girlfriend of hers to see the SpiderWick Chronicles at an IMAX theater.

At any rate, I gotta run now - finish some gardening - cook some supper for the kids and pick them up early so we can make the Dr Seuss thing tonite.

It was Dr. Seuss day at dd's school yesterday. Local officials come and read. DD asked if she had dance class, because of the holiday? I said what holiday and she said Dr. Seuss Day. Sorry not a real holiday.

The Government taxes on our cruise have been increased $5.00 per person, per Mexican Port.

Seeing this multiple places. Applies to the WB Carribeans too.

Only $85 more and they get the full $100 PC Tax?

I knew that tiny little voice in my head was right when it told me to pay off the trip a while back. Had a feeling something like this would happen again!
