Just back from the Smucker's Stars on Ice Show....sorry, not Borat Mike!

The show was great!

Sasha Cohen- Like a little rubber band, that girl! And she is just beautiful on the ice. During one of her performances dh pointed out that she could pick her ear with her big toe......thanks honey, way to ruin the moment.

It is coming to Orlando next year and I want to get tickets to Avenue Q and Jersey Boys. I am seeing Wicked next month.

Avenue Q was a RIOT! We were laughing nonstop! It is so inappropriate!

You and me both girl! I'd settle for a 30" waist!!

A few years ago we were at the Grand Canyon for Easter Sunday. We went to the Easter Service overlooking the Canyon, I took some vids, not the greatest, but kinda cool:

We dyed our eggs during the Ten Commandments too. It cracked me up, because our eggs each had expiration dates printed on them and you could really read it after we dyed the eggs!

You must not use cheap eggs like me.
I actually bought eggs to dye and then I saw a full carton on expired eggs in my fridge. Since we all hate hard boiled eggs, we dyed the expires ones and kept the good ones. Knowing how little we eat at home, they very well could be our Easter eggs next year.

We did our Easter egg hunt and went to church and it was not even that crowded. They had several hundred that went Sat pm. We then went out to brunch and it was not even that crowded. Not sure what is going on but it worked to our benefit.
Found out at lunch that my 16 YO niece totalled her 3 year old Mercedes and when my sister tried to reaplce it with a Nissan Xterra w/ 3000 miles on it- she threw a fit. Those kids are being raised so differently than we were. I understand the desire for your kids to have a better life than you did but DN had already wrecked the car twice before (all her fault) and my sister did not take away her car. I told my Mom I would have replaced the Mercedes w/ a total, well running, piece of crap car until she earned the right but no! She gets a practically brand new car. Riduclous.

Mom and I used to go every time they came to town,with the original group. Scotty Hamilton,Roz Sumners,Curt Browning,Kristi Yamaguchi, Katerina Witt,Paul Wiley,Gordeva & Grinkov. It was good,quality time with Mom.

We are now.

We just got back from Sara buying a new scooter today (actually I think it’s a motorcycle with a pituitary gland problem). It’s a bright red Yamaha Majesty. Lexi wanted the Pink ATV, but I told her that she had to be a little older first. Didn't stop her from playing on it while we did the paperwork.

Sara said the Majesty is a little small to be a motorcycle, since it’s only 400cc…

I remember when 550cc was a big bike – to which she responded that it wasn’t her fault that I’m old. I swear she’s not going to make it to the TOAL at this rate.

Mines a 250 and plenty big enough for me!!

Borrowing my roommates laptop she just got - which got me off my butt to order mine. Getting a Dell Inspiron 1525. Placing the order on Monday! Hope to keep up better with everyone once I get my new toy since I can't seem to find an ounce of time during work these days.

Off to Los Gatos for Easter Dinner at a friends house - can't wait for the 1.5 hour train ride. I don't own my own mode of transportation other than a mountain bike.

Ok finally caught up and everyone is asleep. Oh well, off I go to wander.

Travel channel is doing a stint on Europe - Samantha Brown and Barcelona! Many happy memories! AAHHHH!

I was watching this as well and was realizing how much more there was to do that I did not get to. Guess the is the excuse to go back.

I think we have talked about this before but my MiL seems to be getting worse. I had not seen her since New Years, which is VERY unusual. She came Thursday to drop off the girls from being at her house for the week. When she was here I mentioned I was having the surgery on Monday and she did not say one word. I was torn between being hurt and really mad. She had Melonoma so I thought she would have been somewhat concerned, but no. There is a 1% chance she did not hear me as she was sitting a ways from me but her friend that was with her was concerned and asked a couple of questions so you would have thought MiL asked her questions.
I am completely disgusted this all came about over stupid money. We tried to give her $10,000 of the inheritance thinking that would make it better but she refused. Guess she just wants to be mad. We are her only family here and her only grandchildren. I cannot imagine what she is thinking. Bill prefers the ignorance method of dealing w/ it.

Darren deals with his Mom the same way Probably a survival technique
Hope she just misheard Staying mad and holding a grudge takes way too much energy I have a hard time understanding people like that

You are going to LOVE it! We have an earlier version the 725SW. We got so many strange looks when we had it in the pool on the Magic in December. We also got lots of strange looks at the wave pool in Great Wolf Lodge. DH and I probably sold many of these cameras!!

Got an email today that the Olympus has been shipped. I guess we'll test it in the tub until our community pool opens

I really liked the blue Olympus, but with all the local stores totally out of the old waterproof ones, I figured I should just go ahead and buy the silver 770online
Now I have to make sure I label it so we can tell it apart from everyone else's

Well, I was tired so I left the baskets with Darren to leave for the kids since he likes to stay up later. I forgot to warn him
He was caught She yelled out "Dad!!!" and of course he jumps because he was sure she was asleep
She's having fun today

I really liked the blue Olympus, but with all the local stores totally out of the old waterproof ones, I figured I should just go ahead and buy the silver 770online
Now I have to make sure I label it so we can tell it apart from everyone else's
