Yes, I was surprised to find you had a "system" as well . . . but since my email seemed to be a pretty soulless form letter :rotfl: I assumed you were just sending the same one out to anyone who emailed . . .

Well, Crash has been busy lately, so here's my version of 7 questions:

No because I prefer tennis shoes.

To eat All I want and and stay thin.

I never played bingo, never danced on top of the piano, and never went to family beach.

See you after work.
okay

that's very funny, her own little version of photoshop.

This is the same woman who at my wedding hit my DH's uncle over the head with her shoe.

I doubt that this person even heard of the boards - they are planning on spending only ONE day at WDW:scared1:!

They probably think Disney World consists of Small World, the Dumbo ride & Cinderella's castle. :sad2:

And will probably complain that there is only one park too!!! :rotfl2:

And will be miserable because the lines were huge because they did not plan ahead & have no idea what a fast pass is. "Disney World? Oh yeah we went there once. Been there & done that & we'll never go back!" :sad2:

Hey, clouds cleared, I can see the lunar eclipse.

We had a great view here! DH set up the telescope so DS could get a good look, but he could never figure it out. We had as much luck with that as we do cameras. DH thinks it doesn't work, but I think it's more likely the operator! :rolleyes1

I walked out on the porch for about 2 seconds & said, "Oh isn't that pretty!" and I ran back in & under the covers! Brrrrrrrrrr!

ok has anyone seen the new "spring" OREO's

My dh's intial thought was....OK who pee'd on the cookies...

(Their creme is yellow BTW)

Is that your random thought for the day? :goodvibes

That was almost an issue here too. Every other grade that he had was an A or B. They did a lot of tests, and he was off the charts on a couple things, basically an average kid on most others, but there were glaring deficits in his langauge arts skills. Just because he wasn't failing miserably in multiple subjects, they debated whether or not to give him an IEP. He went through three tiers of interventions, but is still way below where he needs to be with his reading and writing. It seemed like a no brainer to me. But his teacher said that he improved so much that he probably doesn't need one. Luckily, the psychologist, reading specialist, and principal looked a little more closely at his situation.

Mike I'm so glad he's getting the resources he needs! I went through the same thing with DS's speech. I had to show that it was affecting his school work, which I truly believe it was. His spelling was & still is atrocious! He no longer takes speech although he still has a bit of a lisp, but it was getting to the point where they were no longer helping him & in fact I think it was starting to have the opposite effect.

Well made it through my first upper endoscopy and colonoscopy today. :cool1: Talk about you happy pills. Once they shot me with the good stuff (Demerol and Versed) I really don't remember anything. This is a good thing. Everything checked out and I am good for 5 years.

Glad it's over with Roger! I had one about 10 years ago without any happy pills! Maybe if I had them I wouldn't have felt so violated! :sad2: ;)

1 - NOPE

2 - Invisibility

3 - Never been in any of the pools, didn't get the big greeting when you board (we were about the 5th or so family, and boarding in the Med was on deck 2 or so?? we went straight to an elevator then right to deck 9, first off the elevator so there were no other families out there and only a handful of CMs), never did Rainforest Room, but I got to peak in.

4 - I should say Tia Dalma, but I'll go with Elizabeth Swan, I mean she got to kiss both Captain Jack and Captain Will. For a cartoon character I would pick Tink.

5 - Oscars, and seat me next to Johnny Depp please

6 - ??

7 - Deck 4 blue chair or Deck 9 being blasted by the horn

Julie

John's Pizzeria is the best.. :goodvibes

She would've loved trying it. Did I say before, DH had a Pizza shop and may I say he threw a mighty Pizza at that.

It is cold today, and windy . . . did your SIL live at Park and 86th? That is very close to me. When does your daughter fly back? I ask because we are expecting a messy storm most of the day tomorrow and into Saturday morning, and it is sure to delay/cancel flights. So have her check with the airline if she is due to leave in that time frame. If she doesn't leave unto Sunday or later everything should be back to normal. Let me know if you/she need anything . . .

Actually she is flying home tonight. She said the pilot had a sense of humor leaving Orlando. He told the passengers it was 28 and snowing in Washington and do they really want to leave Fl? Because of the evening flight, she is schlepping her carryon with her as well as she doesn't know who and when they will transport her to the airport. :confused3 Last I spoke to her she was with the Drs. and on her way. She will be seeing lots of missing relatives and probably the Doctor that delivered her as well.

Yes, and for a small fee i'll make sure you are hidden behind a server station or column too. (not really)

That's alright I'll just put blankets over my kid's heads like MJ does with his!

Gosh, chatty bunch of pirate:s tonight.
Ketchup Time

THIS IS A FAMILY THREAD! No drinking!

Yeah, I thought I'd jump in on that one.
I got your back.

I was going to chime in after your post about being able to drink responsibly, and I was going to mention that some of us are so seasoned at it that we've become immune to a few glasses of rum, but somehow I didn't think it would go over big.

So yep I didn't have your back on that one M! :goodvibes

Oh great, now she's attracting flies.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Well, Crash has been busy lately, so here's my version of 7 questions:

1. Toe cleavage, yes or no? Preferably NOT!

2. (From last weeks chat) If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

Well I was going to say fly since I hate to step foot on an airplane, but then Cheryl mentioned eating all you want without gaining anything & I thought hmmmm. So I guess it's a toss up!

3. What are three things we would be surprised to hear you never got around to, ever, on your disney cruise?

On my second DCL cruise I forgot all about the stupid character breakfast. I even said to DH, "How come we were never told about the character breakfast?" Some man next me said, "Mam it was on your dining coupons!" :ssst: Okay & this was our SECOND DCL cruise, I was a member of the DIS boards & was even part of a meet thread so I don't what the heck my excuse was for that slip up!

And I've never made it to the adult beach or the adult shows! :confused3

4. (Inspired by M and her dream to be Tinkerbell) What disney charater would you want to live the life of ? Not walk around the parks dressed as, live the life of.

Belle! I just love a little beast in my man! :lovestruc

5. If all expenses were paid, which would you choose: the Grammys, the Oscars or the Nick Kids Choice Awards.

Grammys

6. If you could go back in time, just once, where would you go and who would you meet up with?

I'd love for my kids to meet my Dad. I don't care where really, but I know they would've idolized him like my older nieces & nephews did. :guilty:

7. When you're thinking about your disney cruise (instead of working) what is your defining vision?

Sitting at Signals drinking a Bahama Mama & watching the world go by & a little people watching too! :cloud9:

See ya after work !! :flower3:

WOW:woohoo:
Yup that's what we're seeing:goodvibes

I'm jealous! All we saw were clouds here in Central Florida. Lisa searched the sky on the way home from gym last night and then we all stood outside trying to get a glimpse of it, but it was just too cloudy.:sad2:

We got to see it before the clouds rolled in. Then the clouds cleared and we saw it after, too....all red and pretty.

Then the HUGE thunderstorm hit. We had lightning and HAIL too. Very strange for us in the winter!

Good evening!

So you've infiltrated the other camp to gather intelligence on their ability and/or knowledge of the 90 day ressies? Good job pirate. :thumbsup2

TAKE WHAT (RESERVATIONS) YOU CAN !!
pirate: :thumbsup2

Thanks Andrew (and to others who took time to reply). I've just emailed my TA in the US hoping she can help.
Good luck:thumbsup2
All right, who broke the DIS last night ???
I am not telling on them, I couldnt , so I will not tell you it was the Wonder 08/17/2008 thread! Dam I just did it.

Is that your random thought for the day?

Of course...

Ooooh look a peanut.....
peanut.gif

ok gotta go back to work....

With tomorrow being crappy (weather) i need to be caught up....

Of course we do have 4 wheel drive for a reason.

Okay Julie is the pizza deep dish???? :confused3 Chicago is known for deep dish pizza for but I like thin crust.:flower3: :flower3:

The letter was a generic.....soulless letter so I would not frighten too many people away.:lmao: :lmao: Got several responses....so that is exciting.:woohoo:

Deep dish! The heresy!!!! New York pizza is thin crust, and a good wood burning oven place like John's has a very thin, slightly burned around the edges, crust. However, I would say that our generic get-a-slice for $2 place in NYC is still pretty good -- but never deep dish!!!!!

Well, you wouldn't have frightened me away with a more spirited email response, but I understand that you have to appeal to the masses . . .:lmao:

Getting out tonight is the way to go . . . we are expecting some pretty nasty weather over the next 48 hours, starting overnight . . . won't affect me since I walk or subway everywhere but I wouldn't want to try to fly out during it.

Hopefully she will enjoy seeing some of the missing relatives, delivery doctors, etc. . . . thank goodness she could be there to take your husband's place for him.

Well, I paid an arm and a leg for our flights for the cruise  . It's pricey getting off this little island, we call home these days. The price has gone up $100 each in the past week, so I bit the bullet and paid before it went any higher.

We get into LA on the Thursday, should be in DL by 2. We don't leave Orlando until 6:30 though.:headache: Anyone else hanging around the airport or have other plans for disembark day?

We're checking into the Boardwak as we have a further 4 days in WDW...can't wait.

The Boardwalk is awesome . . . the Epcot resort area is my favorite in all of WDW . . . we will be at Boardwalk the end of March after a few nights at the Polynesian . . . it's a great place. At least knowing that you are going to WDW will alleviate some of the post-cruise blues . . .:goodvibes
