Full Lunar Eclipse happening tomorrow night between 10 & 11 pm.
Rare occurance. Best viewing will be in the Northeast, if the clouds clear enough.

I am starting to get the feeling back in my fingers (funny the things you just take for granted ) so I might even be able to make chat, finally, on Friday. It takes me so long to type something that makes any sense I would be groundhog-ing all thru chat.

I think sometimes people get so busy planning, spending, etc. that they want their vacation to be perfect & if one little thing goes wrong, they can't handle it. Not so fond memories I think!

I don't think there are to many "perfect" days in our lives. Just gotta make the best of them and roll with the punches

So far I am down 8 lbs, since they doubled my dose of it. I hope that continues.




I love jelly beans but mostly the spiced ones. I have tried the Jolly Rancher ones but I don't care much for them. I would rather have spiced.

Somebody slap that woman! (me) Must of been a moment of insanity - today was yucky here in SoCal - had grey and light drops and just that droopy ugly feeling. Didn't feel like doing ANYTHING which really made the girls ( ) nutso. Guess I'm just gonna have to go to the gym later.

So Brendan and I have been hitting the bridal shows (ok so he is only there for the food tasting! lol) just got word we won a gift certificate for dance lessons!!!

Abby almost weighs as much as a small adult, M.... She's 116 lbs. Funny thing is she is so tall that she does not look overweight.

She is good at skidding. Hmmmm and pretty good at cross checking too. Think they make blades for dogs? She's love to play with a stick.

I'm listening to our county's Board of County Commissioners Meeting.

(what a dork )

But it is important as they are holding a public hearing on a building moratorium for the county which kinda affects my job.

I guess you could be looking out the window naming the trees.

OK, so I've listened to state legislative committee meetings...

WANT TO DINE WITH THE CAPT or the CREW?

Want to join other pirates for dinner? We are spearheading linking together a large group for Capt’s dining (Early) and for Crew dining (Late). I’m pretty sure we have enough people at Capt’s dining to even fill a whole dining room!!!How cool would that be.

Anyway, in order to accomplish all this….We need your help and some info.

First the easy part: (Your Info)

Note that this info stays with ONLY your PIRATE Dining Coordinator/Wench and ONLY gets shared with DCL Dining Reservations staff when we make our request.

I have volunteered to co-ordinate Capt’s Dining. If you are in capt’s dining, please send your info in an e-mail to me at goofyforlife @ yahoo.com

Cheryl has graciously volunteered to co-ordinate Crew Dining. If you are in crew dining, please send your info in an e-mail to her at micmsecheryl @ yahoo.com

If you are on a dining rotation and are on a wait list. Please let us know….. On previous cruises we were able to get people changed since they were with our group.
Send your info to the rotation you are currently on but let us Dining Wenches know where you are waitlisted to.

Please note that we will try our best to arrange pirates accordingly but be aware that the tables do rotate around the room each night. (ie you will always be near others in your dining station (ie same wait staff) but the next station over may differ from restaurant to restaurant) BUT WHO CARES WE’RE ALL A SCURVY BUNCH!!!!!

DCL has not decided as of yet whether they will have one sitting for each time or the 3 sitting like currently on the Magic. We as a group will be asking for either 6pm for Capt’s Dining or 8pm for Crew Dining.

PS: WE CAN EVEN TAKE REQUESTS FOR CRASH'S GROUP OF 30 (you guys can have your own wait station.

Ok - here's one of my youngest - April shot on Friday, on Seal Beach in CA.

This was shot about 4 pm and was shot on the Olympus 770SW in Beach/Snow mode. It catches movement pretty good assuming you snap the shot just before the height of the jump. IOW, when I counted to 3 - I snapped the picture while she was still on the ground and when it closed the shutter she was at her highest.

I was laughing because a couple of the girls couldn't figure out how to jump.

I did say they were all freshman right? Might explain the diztyness.
