Thanks Mr Bacon... (no relation to kevin...)

Looks more like you were beat with the short stick M....

Thank you for saying "short" stick...just waiting for further comment...

But if you were 5'9", you would never have a shot at shrinking enough to be Tink!

Good point!
I don't mind being short (except at parades and concerts), but I'll feel pretty bad if my kids get my height. Much easier to be a 5'2" woman than a 5'2" man.

I see Stace wasn't in the closet long enough. Hey Stace? Care to go back into the closet for another weekend?

J/K - we all :lovestruc ya!

DD - 5'5" and still growing - figure she'll grow another 2 inches before she's done. She's only 14! wearing a size 9 1/2 shoe!

Laura Laura Laura...

My 14y7o DD has got that beat... She hasn't been able to wear a 9.5 for over 2 years now..... She more of an 11 or 12 depending on the shoe. (and it's due to foot length.) She's pushing 5'10" at the moment and has grow at least an inch or so each year the past two years. (So who said they stop growing at puberty i want to hit with that growth stick.)

My dh is 6'1" so she may gain a couple more inches. I hate being the shorty at 5'7".

:scared1: OMG! I was in a shoe store once in Vegas for size 10 and above. I about nearly :faint: when I saw the prices. We're hoping DD doesn't go that route! Both DH and DS wear size 12-13. I hope she doesn't get that.

I feel for ya! :flower3:

OK on that note - I am leaving for dinner - got to get out of this house or I will drive everyone

I hope I tons of pages to read later. After AI that is!

TTYL

OK i'm off to bed too....

Gotta go see a man in the am about a notary stamp.....

(sorry work humor)

But on a side note....I GOT TO GO TO WEGMANS YESTERDAY :cool1: !!!

Nope didn't see your mom there, Mrs. Scooby. (at least i didn't think i did)

We split on of their Subs and ate in the second story area. OMG my DH pointes out that it almost resembles "the River of Time" in Epcot. (:rotfl: :rotfl: OK it kinda does though)

Yeah those sizes come with oars....:lmao:

Shoe shopping even for a size 11 is pretty bad....Most dept stores don't even carry them.

One of the interns we have at work wears an 11 or 12, she says the only place she can find nice shoes is in the transvestite stores in the more interesting parts of town.

Although it might not be a place you would want to take your teenage daughter.

My Mom is in NY, so not likely:lmao:
She's visiting in March so I'm sure we'll be going then:goodvibes
My DH and DD love those subs. DS and I usually get the hot food bar. Now I'm hungry:rolleyes:
Ours has a wine cellar in the basement (wine tasting too):yay:

Full Lunar Eclipse happening tomorrow night between 10 & 11 pm.
Rare occurance. Best viewing will be in the Northeast, if the clouds clear enough.

Just letting you know, in case you want to wake the kiddies. (or in case you have reason to duck & cover during the full lunar eclipse... bat boy & his Mom ??? )

Luckily for me and bat boy, we are expecting snow and cloudy skies, so we should still be able to venture out . . . if not see the eclipse . . .

Do you sign up for bikes in advance or when you get to CC:confused3

[/COLOR]

You don't have to do it in advance . . . just walk up whenever you feel like renting the bikes . . .

I'm trying to work around a dog show this Sunday. Can you say we have over 160 Bernese Mtn Dogs entered at the fairgrounds for our two day specialty? and yes most of them are almost as big as Abby (100 lb range although most males are bigger (although most not as tall as Abby; She's our "freak".)

Have fun! Are you entered?

Do you cart with your Berner? I'm thinking about training Taiko to cart, but I've not done it before and don't know anyone who does. But it would be SO handy to have him carting all that water and firewood around during our 5-week pre-cruise camping trip.

(It's all part of my strategy... after 5-weeks in a popup with two boys and a dog, our cabin on the Magic is going to seem like a palace! :rotfl: )

Short end of the family stick. I love it!

Let's see...
Dad 6'1"
Mom 5'9"
DB30 6'1"
DB25 6'2"

ME 5'2"

OK, I'll say it...

So which stunted your growth? Coffee? or Cigarettes?

At our family conference yesterday - we decided on zip lining at PV. I sent in our request today - we'll see what time we get.

Anyway, the boys watched the video from the site - and declared it as - "Yeah, I want to do THAT!"

Apparently, it made an impression. Here's what dad found in their room this evening...

pigzip01.jpg

And, here's the Pig-Cam...

pigzip02.jpg

They say, it was DS6's idea and effort, DS10 just helped with one of the knots. They say the pig actually does zip down the line. Though I haven't seen it. They offered to let me film it on the camera, so I could post it here.

It was a family photo from our last trip on the Magic that came off the wall to hold that end of the zip line... Hum....

Which Sunday? 23rd or 1st?

But i might be able to work around your time if it is Sunday. Do they have a spectator rate if i wanted to come watch (ie freeze my butt off)?

We saw a Great Pyranees(sp?) at PetSmart getting groomed the other day when we brought Harley in...H-U-G-E!!!

At least my kids have a fighting chance. DH & the rest of his family are about the same heights as the rest of my family.

Don't worry M, I'm only 5'3" myself. Besides, I was always told that "Dynamite comes in small packages!"

Seems I'm talking to myself. Guess I'll head on down the hall kids. Nitey-nite!
