Hi all, I've been gone for days so am way behind and have no plans to ketchup so hope I've not missed anything earth shattering.

Anyway, I have a question, how do I go about prepaying our tips? The NZ$ just hit $US0.80 today which is virtually a record high and second time this year so I'm keen to put a bit more towards this trip but no idea how to do it.

Hey Paula - not sure how to do it but you may want to call DCL and ask them. They may have a special "account" for you can specify that's what you want it to go to.

I called once to find out if I could place $$ on the account ahead of time. Turns out you can in any amount and if you don't use it all - then they will refund it to you.

our first..had his mother's black coal hair. our second had blond,

second..let's say..he didn't wait..until he was a teen to be a
stinker. , * & our dr. missed his dates....and becos his
head..was so big..didn't hit up against the cervix..so she never
started labor..until overloaded on pit...* there are no words..that
can described...my wife's scream... as every single student...
bolted...out of there...but the miracle she pulled off..that day....
. now how far were the dates off? ..he had no covering left.
none. his skin was peeling...completely...like after a sunburn...

however, he was healthy..and he was ours = now, he's into
girls & cars....is there no end..to this madness?

well if its based on good behaviors..i might make the mop crew.

At our family conference yesterday - we decided on zip lining at PV. I sent in our request today - we'll see what time we get.

Anyway, the boys watched the video from the site - and declared it as - "Yeah, I want to do THAT!"

Apparently, it made an impression. Here's what dad found in their room this evening...

And, here's the Pig-Cam...

They say, it was DS6's idea and effort, DS10 just helped with one of the knots. They say the pig actually does zip down the line. Though I haven't seen it. They offered to let me film it on the camera, so I could post it here.

It was a family photo from our last trip on the Magic that came off the wall to hold that end of the zip line... Hum....

I want to meet your kids! Too funny.

Ok this is the clincher.. I thought and please tell me if I am wrong I could get a cocktail dress.. instead of a gown...but NOOOOOOOOOOOO.. she wants me to get a gown.. and it has to be champagne.. The past two days she has been sending links on the dress I should get.. below are two she is determine for me to get.. Am I wrong to think I could get a cocktail dress instead ?????????? and all I kept thinking I do not think champagne goes with me........lol...

So which stunted your growth? Coffee? or Cigarettes?

Not a clue. I didn't start my pot a day coffee habit until I was 18 and presumably done growing anyway. I just stopped growing when I was 12, which frankly was a relief because the only part of me that had been growin was my legs. My brother refered to me as pants and a head. Nice.

I had the what is probably the world's first and only Batman themed baby shower. All for little Bruce Wayne "Batman" Sk8ingfam.

We did name him after his grandpas - just used their middle names.

Since you asked for opinions...
It is a pretty dress, but I wouldn't think it's right for a morning wedding. Too ballgown for 10am, IMHO. I would think a more daytime-cut dress but in a really nice fabric. Just above or below the knee with a some type of sleeve.

Not everyone can pull off champagne. What are her colors? Maybe you can find something else that goes with the wedding party but isn't matchy-matchy.

You're the mother of the bride. Traditionally the hostess of the whole event (I know things change based on who is paying etc. - but traditionally... so that's what people go with). You should be comfortable, and appropiate, and beautiful too!

I like this one. But I agree with M. Afternoon weddings are more or less suited for cocktail dresses. I would look awful in a champagne color. Sallow complexion but then again it is her wedding. See if you can work something else out if you don't like the color.Maybe a dress with Champagne trim etc....? Just my thought

My neice has a 12+ shoe (she is almost 6 foot) and she buys the huge majority of her shoes at Nordstrom's. They have the best selection they have found.

Liz....I really like the Calvin Klein dress. With your dark hair and skin tone, you would look beautiful in it. It sounds like your dd wants you to wear something VERY special. That's a good thing!

Cocktail suits the time of day better than a full length gown. Both dresses are beautiful but seem really too formal. How are the rest of the bridal party dressed..."rules" (if you follow) state that you should take q's from them. If the men are in tuxes vs suit and the bridesmaids are in full length vs cocktail.... then you were something in the same style.

Nope no entry here.... Abby is only our "pet" ie freak due to her height. SHe is purebred but we had her fixed because she had an umbilical hernia (which can go heredity on our breed).

I tried carting. I just have to get a harness for her and work more on her obedience. Custom ones run in the $60ish range. In the workshop i attended, first you have to get them used to the noise of pulling something (like a sled or even a coupl milk jugs or piece of wood) then to a trainer cart than to a larger weight cart. It is a process and some dogs don't like it. I did have her pulling a plastic sled which would work for your firewood issue.

We saw a Great Pyranees(sp?) at PetSmart getting groomed the other day when we brought Harley in...H-U-G-E!!!

Yes pyrs are similar build to our breed (They are all white) However, the personalities of both breeds are completely opposite. The Pyrs were the herding dogs that stayed out in the fields with the sheep/etc historically. There are more calculating, more loner disposition that like to be in control. While the Berners were the ones who hauled the milk carts to market and stayed on the front porch on the farm house "WITH THE FAMILY." Berners really love attention and affection. Like i've said before, she's our 116 lb lap dog.

Berners have unique tri color markings also. And those "dots" above the eyes.

I love both dresses However, i do agree they they are way formal. (well that and cost almost more than i paid for my own wedding gown.)

I think you would be more comfortable with a shorter gown... But i love the champagne color.

(My own mother didn't even ask my opinion and just showed in her "cookie monster blue dress" UGGGG but then she bought something nice for my sis's wedding and had her hair and makeup done. Am i bitter? yep still hurts)
