No_deal.gif

DEAL!

Somewhere of mutual convenience on the ship or in port...

limited to well drinks or substitution by a suitably entertaining dessert.

...and what of my INNOCENCT REPUTATION?

YOUR DEFIANTLY NOT INNOCENT

J. R. just look at that concentration! Did that hole trip you up with all the little ball thingies?

The caption for this one on my website is "I could have sworn I hit it the other way", which was true -- my ball ended up in a location where my college-level knowledge of particle dynamics tells me it could not have.

Paula...

... we just booked to visit Honolulu yesterday... we're gonna be there in late December... when are you going? Soon it seems ... MAN! You get around! It was Cambodia (?) earlier a few months back and now Hawaii!

OK Joel... Ya got me QUOTING myself... your reply caught me from the "blind side" ... and naturally I'm sitting here chuckling at the comparison BELOW... :thumbsup2
So Joel, You think Michael will leave Dubai long enuf ta sail Disney fer a week or two? .... Nawwwwww!

Cheryl! I can see you've rendered a PRELIMENARY opinion... and allow me to elaborate on my offer to you below....
C-Enigma.gif
OK Cheryl... I'll up my deal fer ya to 99% of 6 MILLION POUNDS ( the "pounds" with the little funny "L" symbol pounds ) and we'll drop the zip line thing ... and I'll toss in a Mickey bar with sprinkles ... what do ya say?
And ANDREW... we can settle quick now if ya want - just take the offer quoted above and you can still walk away with a nice dessert to show fer ya Lotto losings! Remember, I AM JUDGEMENT PROOF... so my "gentlemans' offer" is more than you're likly to get with a "huge" judgement (smelly used socks).
So who's gonna reply 1st? The arbitor or the Lotto gambler?

snidely_revature.gif
And now... I'm turning in ... again, I'm up briefly for other reasons and took a glance around here - and among a few places off the DIS. Tomorrow I get the news on what my good ol' neighborhood FIRESTONE dealer is asking for to renew my brakes. I'm gonna predict that I need ONE new rotor at $55 extra. So... g'nite folks.

Ooo... sorry ANDY... I messed up and thought I had already posted something fer ya... better late then never:

This maybe one for Andrew:

We're booked into Disneyland Hotel and catching the Disneyland Express to the port.

Do you know if DCL bell services collect your lugage from your room, load it onto the bus; take it onto the ship and deliver it to your cabin, without you touching it?

It happened in WDW when we stayed in Port Orleans and the took the DCL buses to the port.

If you have booked your transfers through DCL for their service to the port then you won't have to touch your luggage.

In 2005 'yes' they did all of that, we had a note in our room last night saying bags ready by 8am, and the next time we saw them was in our staeroom, I booked through DCL, The bags didnt go on our bus but by a truck early.

Thanks...that's what I thought, but as we've only used them once before, I wasn't sure.

OMG!!!!!

We went to the PO last Saturday (2/2) to apply for our passports...

Well DD went out to the mailbox and just came in and says, "Mom,i think we got our passports."

OMG we did get them....

I guess somewhere there's alot of government employees with nothing to do:rolleyes1 this time of year.

HOLY CARP PASSPORTS IN A WEEK!!!!!

PS i don't even think the checks have cleared my bank yet.....

Put in for DD's passport book and card this morning. Regular service so it'll be interesting to see what the processing time will be. Passport cards won't be made and shipped until April or May but the book should come well before then.

I'm feeling all smug too because her passport photos (I took a new one) only cost 28 cents plus tax!! Took the photo of her lying on a white blanket then used the Kodak instant-print machine at Wal-Mart (or CVS) which has an "ID photo" option and presto! 17 seconds and it printed six 2"x2" photos onto one 4"x6" print. Beats paying $12 for photos at Kinko's!

Good suggestion. We tried to print them out on our printer but it was such a pain to get the right size we gave up.
I am going to try the option you suggested to renew the girls passports. :thumbsup2

Here in TX we have never gotten presidential ads before they are actual presidential candidiates. I think because of the tight delegate count all the sudden we are seeing the ads here.
Very interesting I must say.

After seeing the replays of Zednik getting slashed last night, I don't envy any hockey players any more.

Horrible. This happened to a Buffalo Sabres goalie named Chuck Malarchuk in 1989. He's now the goaltending coach for the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Columbus newspaper had an interview with him in the paper today regarding his incident and Zednik's. He said he's requested permission from the Blue Jackets to contact Zednik and the Panthers to offer his assistance because he went through the same thing and has struggled with it for years. In the article, it says that at the game: 2 fans had heart attacks, 9 passed out and 3 hockey players vomited upon seeing the skate hit his throat. The game was televised and his mom was watching, his only thought was "I wanted to get off the ice. I didn't want my mom to see me die."

NHL goalies have been required to have throat guards ever since his incident. He's advocated kevlar throat protection for players, but the NHL hasn't required them.

Off-topic: Wii game review (ok...everything here is off-topic:lmao: )
We bought DD Katie the new "Endless Ocean" Wii game for her birthday. We celebrated on Saturday even though it's technically tomorrow. Anyway, it's a virtual scuba diving adventure game. For those with children who might be interested in snorkeling on the cruise or future, I think it's great. The graphics are awesome and the objective is to research marine life seen on dives. In the game, part of the "Funding" of your character's marine research is paid for by hosting other researchers who "request" to see certain fish. So, during the dive, you must locate that fish to earn more equipment for future dives. My DW, who hasn't wanted anything to do with the Wii, has even started playing this one.

Here are a couple screen videos I found on youtube:

Quiet on the September 1st cruise thread so I thought I'd pop beck and say "Hello".

Question? If the cards are mainly for land crossings. Why would you order both if you are getting the book anyway? :confused3

We usually don't get anything either Coral. The last 2-3 days we've been inundated though.... It's kind of a pain and almost insincere the way they did it.
