Hi Andrew. Thank you for all the helpful cruise information. I feel like a bum not contributing anything. This will be my second Disney cruise. Wish I would have found this forum for the 1st one.

Penny we all had to start somewhere, and I still learn a lot here myself, I try to contribute as much as I can, having undertaken this cruise before I try to help as others helped me.

Keep involved, as we get closer to this cruise things will hot up, the shore trip booking is now in peoples minds, then we will have other idas and issues.

I have a 12 yo son too! Also an 11 yo son. They won't be joining us on this cruise though. Just the adults this time. Got mixed feelings about it. I will miss them and I know they would have lots of fun but WOW - I'll actually get to relax on a vacation.

I think you'll be so glad that it's just the two of you. It will be wonderful! I am with a group of four other Moms who are leaving the whole family home!! This will be our second cruise together.

Sounds like a great plan! But I'll settle for being Stitch Penny (he's my fav). You'll have fun on your adult cruise! This is our first, so we're excited. Thomas is looking forward to meeting kids around his age to hang with. He's into computers (no surprise), video games, legos, science, history, more computers. But he's looking forward to more adventurous activities on the cruise. We booked the Jolly Roger Aruba thingy & going for the zipline in PV. I'm watching what happens with the Cartagena stuff... really interested in the city tours. No matter what it's going to be FUN!!!! Look forward to meeting everyone!

We haven't had a 'just us' vacation in a long time. Looking forward to it. ALOT! They'll get to go on the next one.

A friends cruise sounds like a lot of fun. I did one about 10 years ago. Only for 3 days. Not long enough.

I keep marking the days off the calendar and doing the when another day goes by.

And oldest DD Megan (Bridezilla) is supposed to fly home to Ohio tomorrow. I think her visit just got extended.

Tomorrow would have been a good day for her to fly back. They are calling for mostly sunny and high of 47*. Much better than the single digits we had last week!

How are all of her plans going?

We are going with my mom, dad, sister and brother in law. Mom and sis love to shop - way to much - (hi sis - I know you're reading this ). I like to shop too but they put me to shame. I want to see as much as I can. Who knows when we'll be back to all of these wonderful places.

Ah but they do not have Cadbury's proper Chocolate, the one thing I have never found is good Chocolate in the USA. Hersey's just doesn't do it for me, I toured their factory, it was nice to see, but ah Cadbury's Chocolate! One place we are better than USA, (well that and our TV).

Have to say though - I prefer Galaxy! It's just that bit creamier & i can already feel my waist expanding!!!

That is daylight robbery! I've decided to ditch clothes for the cruise & instead pack by bags with British delicacies to include biscuits & chocolate - make a huge killing & retire to DCL on the profit

Your will power is far greater than mine! Trying to indulge my sweet tooth in other ways, e.g. no fat yoghurt. Unfortunaltely where chocolate is concerned, I can't stop after just one square!
