Hello everyone!

We wanted to introduce ourselves, myself (Michele), husband (Mark) and daughter (Nicole - 12 at cruise time). This will be our third Disney cruise and we have been booked, through DU, since Day One -- although at the premium price. In the end, just glad that we did get a Gty Cat 6 and will wait to see where we will call home for a lovely 15 days.

Our flights are booked, via Buffalo, hotel night before booked, through Hotwire, one night after NOT BOOKED and just waiting for the go ahead to pack.

My thanks in creating a wonderful and informative thread. It has been a joy to read and I look forward to meeting you on the ship.

Hi Michele ... Another one from Ontario here, who is also flying out of Buffalo. Out of curiosity .. Where are you booked in Buffalo. I'm staying at the Holiday Inn Express. I'm staying in LA a bit before the trip and spending some time in Florida after. Holiday Inn Express will allow me to park at the hotel for the duration of the trip. I didn't get any price break, but the extra money I spent will cover my parking at the airport. I will be parking for just shy of 4 weeks.

My quandry is shall I invite kids through their parents to come IF they wil go on a SUNDAY to enter at 4PM and leave around 8PM? Enabling a return home at 9ish? Is that going to come across as irresponsible to other parents - or is it going to look unusual? I mean - I wonder what sort of impression I'd make because I'm offerring an odd proposition that conflicts with a common routine (sleeping early before a monday with school and work).

Not sure what you should do, but I'll share a story from a few years ago. When my son turned 10 I threw him what was supposed to be a big birthday bash. I never have birthday parties for him, usually just a dinner out (his choice) with family. But since it was his 10th, I figured it's a big deal.

Well the place he wanted to have it (Pump it Up) only had a Sunday evening time slot available. It was at 6pm so I figured it was still early enough, especially for 10 yr olds. Well, we had exactly 5 kids at the party. The most common excuse I heard was it was too difficult to be out on a Sunday evening.

So, I'm not sure many parents would be up for a Sunday evening DL trip.

1971;Age 14; 8th Grade: I Loved these boots!!

1975; Age 17; 11th Grade Winter Formal. This was my first date with this guy (one of the "cool" kids). I almost died when he showed up at my door in this suit! I had a bit too much tequila that night and tossed my cookies all over another girl's white dress. She shouldn't have been in the bathroom making out with her boyfriend!!

1976;Age 18;Senior Prom This is my First Fiance'. Thank God I came to my senses! I left for the Army about a month later.
