That was hilarious. In fact I have never laughed as much as I did those nights in RBD.

I totally agree - every night about 10:00 I get weepy-eyed that I'm not on my way to a 2/3/4 hour party.

I'm so glad to hear that everyone seems to have made it through the storms relatively unscathed.
I was at my parents' house in NC last wkd trying to figure out where the storm was vs where people lived. (I'm extremely geographically challenged.)
As to why I was at my parents', they may shake their heads and laugh about my liquid diet for 15 days...
But when it came time for them to throw a party for a group of people who mostly drink (they don't) who did they call to give beer/wine advice and to mix the sangria (which was the hit of the party, I might add)??
Anyway, I somehow left the power cord for my laptop in NC so I've been without a computer all week (the agony!) which is why my ketchup is going back so far. But I got it back this morning when I saw my family in SC at my brother's Chief Petty Officer ceremony. Not being a Navy expert, I had to look up what this was really about and it means that he was selected by his commanding officers to be promoted from an enlisted sailor to an officer. Pretty cool! My mom, his wife, and his daughters actually pinned the pins to him during the ceremony.
Isn't he cute in his new hat? He doesn't have to wear the white toothpaste cap anymore!
My family either
1). realizes how a cruise ship works or
2). could give a rats behind about us...... We didn't get a call or an email from family!
Same here - and I was travelling
by myself!! I even emailed my mother several times saying "I'm still alive..." trying to give a hint that I would like to hear something back.
Almost made me afraid that something terrible had happened and they didn't want to send me any messages because they couldn't think of anything positive to say.
In real people terms Andy.............John has lots of video clips from our mini DVD recorder of what happened in Rockin Bar D many nights with lots of fellow pirates.

kind of clips, Cheryl? Are these the "innocent" clips or the "not guilty" clips? Some pirates were supposedly more entertaining than others...
Yes, I saw it. Unfortunately it was announced 2 weeks after my birthday which was just a few days after we got off the ship! I could have stayed if I had known!!!

Let me add my thanks and tears to everyone else's. That was the best pick-me-up! Not that I haven't been looking at everyone else's pictures (well, not this week), but seeing them put together with music made it that much more special.
Okay, I think I'm caught up now. Except for whatever has taken place while I've been longwinded here. So let me go ketchup again...
Yes, last night was instrument rental night so we now have a trumpet, music stand and band book. DD tells me that they will be playing in the Christmas parade. She will be singing with the chior/ensemble before the parade and then she will have to hustle to the staging area to get with the elementary band! I figure that she can practice after school while she waits for me to come home! 
I hope, cause it doesn't sound too good right now!
