I have the same name as well on Yahoo - not on AOL or MSN, but can join if that is where we end up....

Pamela

I can also do Yahoo with the same name and AOL and MSN, I think it's the same name.

No stamps.. and I heard others complaining the last day that they didn't get any stamps either. :confused3
I wish they HAD to give you a stamp. I mean like if you go there and you use your passport- that they'd HAVE to give you a stamp. It would have been nice to collect that on our passports as a list of places we've been. We can't write the places we've been on the extra pages in our passport- can we? LOL

We took our passports with us and got no stamps as well, even coming back into the US. It's weird, because the whole point is tracking... Someone can flip through and see where we have been.

I saw y'all all over WDW! LOL! I was wondering where your little one was! LOL!

We saw you outside the Toy Story ride, right? I kept trying to keep my eyes open for familiar faces, but didn't see many. We did run into our table mates (Hi Robin, David, Ian, Sophia!!) outside the Small World ride, though! We did also notice a few Panama Canal tee shirts on unfamiliar people.

good evening everyone! i've filled up all the space on my computer! i had to go delete some older stuff, so i could finish loading my pics on here!
is anyone else still swaying with the ocean? i find myself still a little off balance!!!

Hello, What I liked was pens and note pads really. Also we got a message board for our door to write messages on (small one) and it became very useful for us. I really likes that. (magnet one) Also, got pins such as disney pins and that was nice.
I really like the note pads it came in handy. If you don't mind me asking what part of Colorado are you at? We live in Castle Rock. When is your cruise?

Your friend,
Dawn
We liked the notepad made for the door with the attached dry erase pen too! That REALLY came in handy. I'd purchased dry erase boards but they didn't stick to the door real good (fell off when we closed the door) and only one stayed attached but had to be put inside the door because it was so huge. LOL So the smaller ones made and given to us to put on the outside of the door were awesome- loved them! Since mine was personalized for me- I took the magnet off the memo board it was attached to- to keep and take home (the dry erase board was well used and the dry erase pen was on it's last leg by that point- barely wrote anymore or I'd have kept the entire thing! LOL)

I didn't realize that it was you that is still on the ship still. How are the kids?
I can send you a PM with my email and you can email them to me. I am sorry that she had a meltdown that day. Sky has those moments from time to time. No worries...I just hope that you all are ok. I bet you will be glad to be back in port carnval (sp) tomorrow.
What was your day like today? Please take care and keep in touch.

Your friend,
Dawn
I don't think Stephanie is still on the cruise. Atleast I thought I remembered us talking about packing... and I was all jealous that Stephanie was already finished packing to disembark and I wasn't packed completely yet. LOL
I believe Stephanie had days planned at WDW after the cruise though... if I'm remembering correctly.

Here are a couple of photos from our voyage...

... the WINNER of the under age 12 group,

none other than BIPs' son....

So he's clutching the digital Mickey Camera I contributed...

and below are my "partners in crime" who ran the event and contributed generously to the prize pool for winning competitors: BIP and Castoff right after I presented them with my token of appreciation for helping out - DIS GREEN Tinkerbell T-shirts cut and sized for ladies:

And BIP.... a hint, on getting the best results from the digital camera your son won... it gets the best results in generally bright light ... and the shooting cycle is SLOW... so remind him to point... hold STEADY and press the shutter release... and WAIT while remaining STEADY..... and you'll get decent shots in BRIGHT LIGHT. 2nd... If you have a small SD memory card to plug in ... something under 1GB if possible... then all you need do is pop the card in to have your son shoot 1000s of images... then simply change batteries as needed. When the card fills up ... simply remove the memory card from the camera to quickly off load the images. Using the internal memory alone and trying to offload via the cable directly from the camera was very clumbersome and fustrating. So use the card alone is my advice. And remember, it's only a VGA resolution digital camera... which is good enough for basic internet use or for use with 3x5 prints... and MAYBE 4x6 sized prints. Using the full image and printing it at 3x5 allows for a minimum of 128dpi and with 4x6 prints it allows for minimum of 100dpi of resolution.

Yeah...

... I'm still enjoying that wavy sensation too... and the computer... don't you allow for a minimum of 1/4 of your hard drive to remain FREE in order for the computer to USE it? My computers never seem to run properly FAST if I use up more than 75% of the total hard drive space.

Me and my Task Force partners [ Downrivermama, MrsScooby, pdarrah, radioclash2 & tiggrbaby ] are pleased that you found the magnetic memo boards to be useful and entertaining. If your pen ran dry - I can send you a spare pen! We had about 60 spare pens sent us.... and when i noticed a dry erase pen worn out/damaged or stolen I would replace it. One example being Cheryls' mag memo pen.

At any rate... I'm encouraged by your remarks - and glad at least one person found these to be practical and fun.

When I went the afternoon we were in Cabo the person responsible for that told me that the Mexican officials were refusing to stamp any of the 60 passports that she had that morning and she was trying to get the officials in Colombia to stamp them. What's the point of having to get them? It was frustrating and really disappointed the kids since we had told them it would be a record of where we have been. I loved the card someone put in the FE with the postage stamps from the countries. Maybe I will find some of those to stick in there so they won't be naked anymore.

The creator of that FE gift was none other than good ol' SIL! I recall chatting with SIL on the ship about that. He had to scrounge for stamps in QUANTITY for one country in particular .. which I vaguely recall was Columbia... (or was it Aruba?).... and stamps from that ONE country cost SIL 10x whatr the other stamps cost him! I can still recall the image of his always smiling face as he recanted the ordeal he went through in acquiring the stamps for his FE project!

i'll admit that i'm not computer savvy, so, no...i guess i hadn't even checked how much was left of my hard drive space. i've cleaned it up a bit, and it does seem to be working better now!! hopefully it continues to work ok. i know this comp is on its last leg anyways....my screen broke a few months ago, and it's just a matter of time til i need to replace my laptop. right now i have a box propping the monitor up! oh well!!

we loved the stamps! that was a great idea sil!! thanks so much. this was one of the gifts that the kids are fighting over who will take to show and tell first!!!

Hello, Pirates!

Got back very late Monday and had to go full blast into school on Tuesday, so no time to DIS! Hope everyone had smooth trips home and the 5 day is surviving the stormy areas.

I did not do much on board, but I enjoyed all the activities I made it to and enjoyed the company of all the people I did meet.

Thanks so much to all who added the special touches: lanyards, bracelets, FE gifts, SM exchange, dining ressies, Palo ressies, wine tasting, bus, Cartegena tour, DL meets, Pirate parade, and so much more!

I plan on adding pics once I finally get mine off the cameras. Can't wait to see all the others.

Thank you for the call from the AK! you made Tori's day..she was so bummed we didnt find one before we left. I get home Monday...let me know when is a good time to get together.

Your welcome! We were so excited when we spotted those Webkinz! Kallie got the manatee and the goldfish traveled safely right along side...LOL
No sign of the dolphin, unfortunately.

Happy & safe travels.........We'll talk next week. It will be my first week with a normal schedule of work, school's and such.

We're still swaying here. In fact, we barely noticed it until our last day at WDW (Thurs). Yesterday seemed worse too. Kind of a delayed thing, from what I remember.

We enjoyed these too. Very clever and cute. Our large board went flying everytime the door closed too hard too.

This FE gift was amazing! Thanks SIL

Hmmm - I just asked a friend that participated in the FE gift exchange if she received the stamps because I wanted to get a copy to put in the scrapbook for the kids and she said she didn't

 We were in 7565. We didn't even have a verandah. I was impressed with Arlene. We pulled out of Aruba about midnight. I then went down to deliver the last set of poker cards. I didn't even put out the treasure chest at that time. Instead, I just headed out to make my FE rounds. When I arrived back to my stateroom around 1:30am, Arlene had already returned her entry and had left it in our FE because the treasure chest wasn't out yet.

I did enjoy that stateroom location. There was one room on each side of our room. I had images that there'd be ST in one or both of those rooms unsupervised because their parents booked the verandah across the hall. However, I believe each of those staterooms were couples w/no children. So our hallway was pretty quiet. Even after returning at 1:30am after delivering the Aruba cards, I saw Aly and AJ walking down our hallway with one of their entourages and noone was bothering them. They were actually admiring some our stateroom magnet decorations and heard one comment on how cool they thought it was that people decorated their doors.

I must say, the louder areas seemed to be on deck two. Many of my FE deliveries were late evenings and it seemed like a lot more happening down there than on the higher decks.

We weren't sure what to do with ours and besides,we only got 4 cards! We had trip 3's by the way.

Your friend,
Dawn

I'm not on the ship -- we were at WDW until late Thursday... The 12ft swells were the last night of the Repo cruise!!! DH is a weather freak so he was watching the ships tv and the ocean. ;)

The funny thing about Claire's meltdown was that it all started because I used MY money instead of HERS to pay for our souvenirs at the butterfly farm!
I didn't know she wanted to use her money until we were back on the bus and by then it was too late!

Yes. And I saw y'all in MK sevreal times -- but, I didn't say anything since I thought it would start looking like I was stalking y'all! :rotfl:

One question-- did anyone buy a T-Shirt at Los Veranos Zipline? We did and the first time we washed it, the lettering mostly came off. We plan to take a picture and send it to them, but I'm not counting on having any luck with a replacement.

Sorry to hear this. We didn't buy the s***s but did get the photos of us. I woulda like to have had more time to check out the place, but Kevin was having a major sugar crisis and I had to get him over to the resturaunt and get some food into him, pronto!

I just played ketchup on all the posts I missed while on vacation. I didn't say it before but we loved getting all the FE gifts!! The magnets are all now on our fridge, and we used/ate many of the rest while onboard!

I have to agree about Cartagena being the best excursion we did! PV was the worst (though we complained too late to get anything back from it).

We also enjoyed spotting other Pirates, though we didn't usually talk to them after the first few days.

Some of the things we miss most:
1. The food!! DD did so well eating whatever I ordered onboard and I'm hoping that she'll keep it up, but my food is boring... I need to learn to cook!

2. Having someone else take out the diapers twice a day :)

3. Many many other things!

So what does this link do? How do you get digital copies of the photos to use the release with?

Glad Kevin and I were'nt the only ones who felt this way. We walked out.

DH was afraid to walk out on Darren Romeo... afraid we'd get picked for something. On another note, the larger sized magician guy they had during the last night totally screwed up his own tricks, at least on the late show!

I agree with KTTW card for laundry facilities and that they should have PhotoPass on board. How about some sort of big screens for the photo viewing area and when you spot one of yourself you could tag it somehow. Even cooler would be to use face recognition technology!

Pamela

I have to say that this was our biggest disappointment! They print out every single picture even if it's horrible and there are better ones, then charge an outrageous price for them! And like you said, it was hard to find them. They should have photopass and then screens to view only your own. Though it was fun finding people we knew too!

I know someone had posted the directions how to correct the colors in underwater photos. Can someone please direct me to these? Thank you!

I didn't see that anyone posted the link again... Here it is:
http://www.divester.com/2005/03/08/how-to-editing-underwater-photos-with-adobe-photoshop/

hi everyone! i am really having some trouble getting motivated to unpack. our suitcases arrived around 6pm yesterday. i just really don't want to unpack! i did manage to get a few loads of laundry done, but that is where i stopped. i have tomorrow off still, and i know i'm gonna run around trying to get everything caught back up. oh well! hope everyone is having a good day!

I'm always excited to dig into the suitcases and find the souvenirs that we bought!! Though at this point, I have dug through to find the souvenirs and much of our stuff is still in the suitcases now!

Oh, if you could have only heard the soundtrack from this little ride...

Left! Left! No Paddle left! Ok, i paddle on the left side...

5 minutes later. LEFT LEFT! I start paddling left...What are you doing?!? TURN LEFT! TURN LEFT! NOT PADDLE LEFT!! The rocks are way over there and we're going to hit them!

It was fun though...after I gave up and let her paddle and I just handled the turns...:rolleyes1

:lmao:

Hmmm - I just asked a friend that participated in the FE gift exchange if she received the stamps because I wanted to get a copy to put in the scrapbook for the kids and she said she didn't

Several people planned on the original 100 FE gifts/staterooms and bought ahead of time so when the total increased prior to the cruise they posted that they were giving the original gifts to the first 100 who signed up and alternate gifts to the others. Perhaps this is why.
