Ooohh Well then I'll probably miss this run as well since we're driving tonight... And then we're going to attempt to get to bed EARLY since we have to leave for the airport by about 5:30... DH is NOT a morning person at all... He goes into work at 10ish. I am typically up by 7, but leaving at 5:30 is going to be EARLY!!

We'll be at the Mariott by about 8:30, I think.

We were *supposed* to get to bed early last night.....yeah 1:15am early

I posted this on the main cruise board but figured y'all might know better. When do the first DCL buses start leaving from LAX to go to the port? Since we're coming in a day early, we can get a nice, early start. DCL said 10:30 but that sounds a little late to me...maybe just wishful thinking tho'. For me, the vacation starts the minute I set foot in the terminal. I don't mind the wait...it's just another bout of pleasant anticipation as I make a mental bet with myself on how many shrimp Tony will consume at the embark buffet.

I can tell you that in 2005 we passed one on the freeway while driving to the port and it would have had to of left LAX around 9:30. But that was then.

Still need to raid the ATM, and throw 'semi formal' stuff in the case.

no batteries to charge.. just made sure that i had fresh ones to use.. is 4 4 packs enough for the camera??

we will be leaving at 5:45 am for the airport.. i am not sure i can sleep tonight anyway.. too excited.. besides I can sleep on the plane.. but who am I kidding... I won't sleep until I get on the ship. and then I'll crash early.. maybe.. like a little kids I 'll be too tired to sleep..

Thanks Melodie! We have all been talking about rerouting the Magic around South America so we can extend our trip but they probably won't go for it.

Well - I guess it would be okay as long as you have her back by the 27th!!! I've been looking forward to boarding her for a year and a half

DH just emailed and he got us upgraded to First class for the flight tomorrow to SFO... YEAH!!!!...

Yes, Sunday. I'm going to pick up the DD's from camp in about an hour, then unpack and repack them. Flight leaves 6:00AM Sunday morning, shuttle is coming at 3:00AM.

I could sleep too if DD sleeps... If I have to entertain her, it'll be more difficult. She may be too small to sleep on DH during the flight nowadays!

it is tough with little kids.. there is so much to see and do that it is hard to get them to sleep... we used to tell the kids in a very monotone voice.... grandma's asleep, grandpa's asleep, aunt janet is asleep, etc.. and of course ending with Mommy wished she could sleep.. hoping that they too would sleep.. it only worked rarely

And I am officially on vaction. I decided to leave at 4 PM. Just have to wait for all the timecards to come in and approve so I can leave. They need to be submitted by 4 PM. Then the long, long, long wait until Sunday to get on the plane.
