Good thing he doesn't read the boards. He is scared enough of you guys. He asked me to tell everyone he is a deaf mute so he doesn't have to talk to anyone. (he really isn't that bad, he just likes to give me a hard time)
Not a lot of work getting done this week. I have a presentation I will be giving when I get back and I just can't concentrate on putting together the PowerPoint slides. Maybe I can just do a slide presentation of the cruise. Hey, I can show the work we are doing on the Panama Canal. Unfortunately it is supposed to be about the wonderful world of records management. Yippie. Not exactly exciting stuff.

My dh (and our 17dd) have always been extremely introverted....but, get them on a DISNEY cruise full of Dissers and they become chatter boxes!!! LOL! Introducing themselves to people, striking up conversations, etc.... In the almost 30yrs of knowing dh the only time I've ever seen dh talk to anyone (with out being forced to) is on the 10nt cruise with a bunch of Dissers!!!
He made a LIAR out of me! LOL! I had warned everyone that he is really shy & quiet.... then on the ship he started going up to people and introduing himself!!!

At the usual places we go to he won't even stand next to me because *People assume that I'm like you and would actually like to talk to them*

On the cruise when he was on shore excursions, that I wasn't on, he would go up to people that were wearing the DIS lanyards and TALK to them!

BTW - your presentation sounds really boring. Compared to the cruise anyway!

RadioClash Lisa arranged months ago to come even if she is dead.

Let's not give dh any ideas... I am NOT dragging his 6'2", 180lb body around the ship! LOL!

I am sooo jealous but I guess someone has to hold the thread together ..

Well yesterday was not my day.. after the mishap with the wallet, I went and got a hair cut and color after work.. and she was consistant.. good hair cut, bad haircut, good hair cut , bad haircut.. consistant..

I got home and each one of the boys commented to me.. "oh, you got your hair cut. new style??" they were trying to be polite.. normally ( on the good haircut cyle) they don't even notice or say anything.. but not this time..

when people meet me I know that they will smile and say hi but under their breath will be "wow, look at that bad haircut".. or maybe I'll just wear a hat or a tiara...

then I got home and went to plug my laptop into the internet and get on chat and the thread but the internet was down.. DH looked at it and then Geoff (DS#1) and concluded that the router was fried... so no internet for me.. but I must have looked so sad with my bad haircut and sad face that they felt sorry for me and DH went to get a new router.. so Geoff has a project today to get it working...

7:30 am meeting and so the day goes... but only 3 days until TOAL

Hey remember I met you and I thought you had nice hair. Can't be as bad as having dye stain all around my hairline. I have tried everything for 2 days to get this stuff off. I will be the one wearing a hat. Hope tomorrow is better for you.

right there with you....went to bed at 5am, back up at 7am...I have really messed up my sleep cycle...I've been staying up later and later recently....hope I don't crash and sleep through the cruise

Get some sleep girl !! I will be the one banging on your door if your sleeping.

Thanks for the reminder. I got the frame but forgot the tape! Tomorrow will be my 'run around' day..... probably Friday as well. I'll get my waxing done tomorrow, donate blood on Friday plus last minute shopping.

Last night dh asked me if I thought Samantha (our 17dd!!!) would want to get married in CC or in WDW. I told him WDW (GF w/carriage) but, I think we have a few years.
)

I would be thrilled if my DD want's to get married at Castaway Cay. She will be 15 so I also have some time.

My Disneyland tips for today:

Have several backups in terms of what you will do if the first thing you run to at rope drop is down. Today at rope drop Space Mountain was down (and still was the last time I checked), then I went to Indiana Jones and it was down as well.

From what I have seen, it is crazy to go to Toy Story Mania at rope drop at CA. It is a mob scene and within 10 minutes the line is hours long. Yesterday we went there in the afternoon and rode twice with about 20 min. wait each time. Tonight we are going to try seeing the Electrical Parade right at the start and then heading over to see if we can do it a few times before the park closes.

Your DH can hang out with mine. You should have seen his face when we took the geek Double Dip in 06! When he saw a sea of lime green t-****s and me and the girls with the same one on...and people talking to us like we knew them...and sitting together at dinner...

Hence I am not wearing the t-s this year. I do want to be able to go on a future cruise.
He did have fun and talked with some of our fellow cruisers. Even went spinning with Kristina.

Okay fellow repo cruises, I need opinions please! We're getting a little paranoid because we're schedule to land at 12:30...with the ship leaving at 4, that's not much leeway. Tony has double-booked us (I LOVE SW) so we can fly out either Sat. night or Sun. morning. It looks like we could get an airport hotel w/shuttle at a decent rate. So what would y'all do? I hate to abandon our pets for an extra day (a sitter is coming in but it will still be traumatic), but I'd also hate to miss the ship and be swimming to Cabo to catch up!

Leave Sat!!! I about died when DH wanted to leave Sunday morning. It's bad enough I have to get on that p***** since I can't drive to CA in 36 hours... I would probably be in NM by now...

In the past I've had no problem. This was the first time we had a problem and I won't take the chance with our luggage.

He doesn't know yet. I put it in his small bag with the toothpaste, deoderant ect. Think he will check?

Wow , Is it really that close ...LOL okay most of our bags our packed , 3 of us = 5 Duffle bags all within 46 -49 pounds , 1 Garment bag at 49 pounds and 3 carryons , plus me and DS"s back packs and SM's purse ...LOL

Needless to say the " Captain Jack gets alot of Booty" shirts wont be making the trip ...we have just way too much stuff , figuring we are doing 20 days on the ship and between DL and WDW thats another 5 almost 6 ...thats alot of clothes ...LOL

We printed our boarding passes , this time tomorrow we should be arriving at SNA .....got some last minute stuff to do tonight including Football Practice and Sushi for dinner ...

Ok, not sure I'll be back again today. I have to finish putting the last minute items in, then we are out the door.

Our head swim coach that resigned last week, due to possible lack of job and needing insurance for the baby on the way, is at the hospital this morning and baby is on the way!!! He/she is about 10 days early, so we hope that all goes well!! Too exciting!!!!

Our flight leaves later tonight and DD and I only got about 4-5 hours of sleep, me that much the last 3 nights, so it might be a quiet flight for us. She had her last practice with her coach last night, and cheer camp, then kept running into things, meltdown began, she kept waking me up because she couldn't sleep...maybe we will sleep tonight. Although, I am not convinvced we will make it to the parks early tomorrow. I think I will let her sleep, otherwise it could get ugly!!

Safe travels to everyone, maybe we'll see some of you that are already there, and we can't wait to meet you!

I hope to get some sleep before I leave but I am not counting on that. Have a good flight.

thanks.. hope your hair line cleans up. . I figure that the cruise is 2 weeks.. so there is hope for the hair during the second week..

It's been a long 18 month journey. My costume suitcase is over 70 lbs. I think in total all the costumes I'm bringing are over 100 lbs.

Todd! Do you know you created all this.

My wife said the same thing when we were packing the costumes , she also said others are probably cursing too since they like you had to pack a bunch of detailed costumes ...But when all is said and done , the pictures will be priceless and the memories will be forever , and DCL will probably never allow us on the ship again ..LOL ha ha ha

We will be in California Adventure around 12 or so , we have Dream FastPasses from the last time and will use those to get through the park quick , we will end up eating at Rain Forest Cafe then head to Disneyland for the evening ... I wonder if there is Early Entry friday morning anyone know ???
