Hey June - did you get the Scarlet costume done?

I know June's running around town on last minute errands so she may not be checking the DIS today that much. Yes, her Mom and her got the dress done. It looks nice! She even has the red Scarlet wig to go with it. Bad news is the boys now want to dress up as pirates (our oldest is leading the mutiny) and so she's out today looking for something for them.

Well signing off now and just going to do the online check in for our flight tomorrow. Airport today and then we are off first thing in the morning.

well. mismce..that's a good point..however, that's all in the past... ,

visited..from friend...down in miami [ yes hurricane country ] & one of
those frats..partys..out of "watering hole". really!..they had rigged a
rope..swinging liked...20 feet...before dropping below. when it was
my "dare"...i peep over..& noticed..all the big rocks below. sooo you
can betcha...i gave ..it extra effort...that turned..into a spectular dive.
..."yep, i meant to that!'..in reality..it was ...driven ..by fear....of
course, by "crash~landing"

..i thought..it was fansicating....calvin & hobbes..selctions..on their

..." tans-mog-rifier". "eel, baboon, bug, dinosaur".. ..no

disney 's princesses..or princes?! ....sooo ..my lil'cutie? huh!

payback....my mother..used..to love....to scared....us kids' dates by
telling "growing up" stories...& of her favorites...was the only way to
get me..to eat food, any food....was to "permitt"..my beetle collection
on the "plate"..next to the food. well, @ least..i have my only lil'space
at the dinner table. i'm sure..very common....we al have these types
of skeltons...? [ remember christmas story?- every family..had a kid
that wouldn't eat, ].

....ya kno?..that's the benefit...of aging,....one learns to appricate
"comfort measures" , instead..of putting the ritz? noticed..how many
i 've scared off....consider ya been wARN, as they're not made up
stories, ..only the names..been change..as to blame the cpt. crash,

...i sorta..like what..sk8...pro- claimed.."take what ye get"!..
..& as tells my kids..you better darn..like it!

Hi Everyone!


I think I'll have a $$$ ton of stuff on my back! That backpack currently has my XTi (DSLR) with 2 extra lenses and external flash, DH's new point & shoot (Canon SD780), Our old point & shoot (Canon A80) and its underwater housing (it's flash isn't working right, but we'll just turn it off and use it for just the beach/underwater stuff), AND DS9's point & shoot that he bought with his own money in June ($75 camera). There is also our little video camera ( Canon Elura 100) and DH's binoculars. Add the spare batteries, chargers, memory cards, video tapes, etc. and it starts getting a little heavy

Several disturbances in the Atlantic Ocean bear close watching over the next several days as the tropics have begun to bubble, but are not yet boiling.

Convection with a low pressure center about 1000 miles east of the Windward Islands has become a little better organized. Further development of this system is possible over the next few days as it sweeps westward at 15 to 20 mph.

Another disturbance, not quite so well organized, is located several hundred miles west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands, and is following in the wake of the low east of the Windwards. This second system could also show some development over the next couple of days.

Finally, a large cluster of thunderstorms and downpours emerged off the coast of Africa Sunday and is now south of the Cape Verdes. This disturbance, too, bears watching as it plows westward.

I can get them in my biggest suitcase, just not flat. They kind of have to curve up and over the pile of clothes. But maybe I'll just wear them. My boys would love that.

Has anyone else's Palo reservation disappeared???
Esteri and I were linked before the big linking that happened last week. She made the Palo dinner and brunch reservations for all 4 of us since I couldn't even load the first DCL page on "hassle free" night. Now she doesn't see us listed on her Palo reservation & it isn't in my "My Cruise Plans" anymore. Someone may have to smuggle out a seafood risotto and a choclate souffle for me.

The heavy spinners?? We have the heavy duty spinners and those suitcases are HEAVY!

It is a rolling bag. It will get the clothes since they are the lightest.
