Ummmm Lundys and the beach. Richs friend lived right across from the beach.I remember his mom had white carpet and there was a red velvet rope cordoning off the living room My friend told me they reopened Lundys for parties. Miss that clam bisque.

we just checked into the hotel so we can fly out first thing tomorrow morning. decided to check emails...and got an email saying our flight is cancelled!!! this has been an awful week...and i really need it to get better!

1. Tanya, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. We'll be thinking of you and will miss meeting you. My DH is originally from Brooklyn and would have loved to talk with you.

2. Love the roaming Gnome. And speaking of pins, how come they haven't put the pins for this cruise on the Disneypins site?

3. Used the Kodak water camera on the cruise we took in Feb. Pictures were good considering it's a disposable. Buy Kodak (we're from Rochester, home of Kodak) and American!

4. Went to the store to get a sash for my pirate outfit and came back with a new dress for the cruise. I had been watching this dress all summer hoping it would go on sale and it finally did today for 40% off.

5. Suitcases are open and the clothes are hanging in the closet ready to be put in tomorrow. Please make it all fit and be under 50 lbs.

6. My DH wants to go bike riding at CC. I'm planning to have a cabana massage so he is looking for people to go riding with while I'm at the massage at 11:00 a.m.

7. See everyone at DL. We're staying at the DL Hotel beginning Wednesday.

8. Everyone have a safe trip and hope the packing fairies are making there way around the country quickly!!

Did they say if they put you on another flight yet? I would check to see if any of the other airlines cancelled flights for a weather advisory for tomorrow at this point. If not, demand them to put you on another flight with another airline.
My mom did say that it has been rather stormy there the past few days though. However, I'm not sure how they can cancel something already for tomorrow. It is not like it is snow and ice that can't be moved in time!

I did mine in Microsoft Word. I'll assume that you have that since most people do.

Let me give you some quick step-by-steps. Practice a couple and it comes real easy then.

1. Go to Word
2. At the top menu, click View>Toolbars>WordArt
3. On the WordArt tool bar, click the left hand icon (Insert WordArt)
4. Choose one of the styles and click "OK"
5. Type in text and click "OK"
6. Right click on your text and click on "Format WordArt"
7. Click Color>Fill Effect>Picture
8. Select a picture file from your drive and click "OK"
9. You should see the picture in the letters of your WordArt.

Good luck . . . and have fun with this. I know that I am!

Here is one that I made for one of my friend's sons who worked in the College Program at Disney last year. He was a CM at the Nemo ride at EPCOT. It worked out perfectly since his picture formatted to the "L" in Kyle.

Long Island till I graduated HS in 77, then went to college in upstate nY, now live in Staten Island. Always tell people the next island I move to will be someplace warm and tropical, maybe Cozumel.

ITA Shannon, give them a call NOW and find out what they are doing for you. If they aren't getting you on another of their flights, ask them to get you on a flight with a different airline.

I just looked at the JetBlue website and they had a weather advisory for this morning. Click on that link and it takes you to a site you can rebook your flights. I hope there is something real close to when you were planning to leave. Please weather get better and make for smooth flights across the country!

How old is your son now? I never liked to talk about it when I was a kid either, still really don't. Like I said, not too many people know that about me, cause they don't ask, even tho I am sure most people are curious. We will definitely have to get together and share stories. Maybe even Andrew too if he wants to.

DH & I are both surprised that 25dd and her dh have a large dog.... When she was about 6 a German Shepard jumped it's fence (6ft wooden and they lived across the street) and it attacked the little girl dd was playing with in our yard......
When I was 10 I was walking our Miniature Schnauzer when an Irish setter attacked my dog - my dog was on a leash the Irish Setter was not. i started screaming and I had many neighbors come out to help me (we lived in Navy Housing, off base) and the owner of the Irish Setter never tried to stop it.... He kept saying *I just got him yesterday* Then why wasn't he on a leash??? My dog had to have alot of work done --one of his hind legs was nearly torn off.

Even though I personally wasn't attacked I am still very nervous around large dogs.

OK - now I'm really getting going - Andrew's bugging me for $$$.

Oh yeah, ripped into him - apparently he had a fight with a vacuum and he lost! Wait till I get my hands on the girl - I don't care if she's 25 - this is my son - no more hose fights!

Hey D - My Andrew is 22 and laughs it off now but every once in a while I see him skuttle out of way of some dogs - if they are big - he gets skittish. And keep in mind that this boy-child is 6'2". Fortunately, he's not going on this cruise - good thing or one of us would end up in the brig.

As the mother of a 28ds.... I can tell you that it gets a little better after 25...DH kept promising me *Just wait until he's 25* That was my Mantra his entire teenage years -- it's what kept me from killing him many times! LOL!
