Hi Everyone!

Brendan and I can't thank you enough for enhancing our vacation! We had so much fun with all of you that we met and hope we can keep our friendships...

We enjoyed our group excursions,our bumping in to one another and our rockin' d bar evenings!

Thank you thank you thank you..this will be a trip that won't be forgotten....

Hopefully everyone got home or to their next destination safely!


We got home last night and Brendan's car wouldn't start! Battery gone...had to get a new one (at least it was under warranty!)

He woke up and said "I'll meet you at topsiders!"

And on a sad note..came home to find out that Petey our younger cat had died last Friday he wasn't feeling well and they took him to vet on Saturday..cancer was all throughout his body....it was a shock because he NEVER showed any symptoms...we are all heartbroken including my Peanut cat,,he misses his buddy....

We're home - very long day yesterday - didn't get home here until about 4 am - Florida time. Uneventful flights - although we were delayed leaving MCO and arrived into Seattle a bit late. Luggage made our connecting flight to the island is all was well. Quite a few folks from the cruise on our flight - but haven't a clue who they were. The folks sitting with Ken and Karl - were actually from BC as well and live not far from my sister's in Vancouver. I thought we were the only BC'ers on board - guess not. I knew there was other Canadians from Alberta and Ontario on board.

Lots of messages to catch up on and laundry to do. Tough getting up this morning, but thankfully the kids didn't have to be at school until 10am and then it was only for the balance of the morning. Ken and I went and got groceries, so we can eat now.

It was great meeting everyone and we're booked on the dummy cruise as well. It'll be interesting to see where they are going 2010.

I've read back a few pages - we walked out of the Darren Romeo show as well - not what we expected at all - more a singer than a magician. As to Tom's note: they need more laundry facilities and photo pass. I got a copy of the pirates from the Goofy pool - really nice - glad someone told me we needed to ask for it.

Hi Tom - have Ellen and the boys recovered yet? We haven't I'm still really tired today. Darrah seems to have survived his first day of school. Dan is also complaining that the ground keeps swaying. I've only felt it twice since we disembarked.

My suggestion for the new ships is a real place for the tweens to go. It seems that Ocean Quest doesn't hold their attention. I don't know if it is the location, the size or the activities, but the tweens "hanging out" around the ship were more annoying than the most of the stinky teens. Since the Ocean Quest space was originally conference rooms and was retrofitted during a dry-dock,maybe it just isn't as good as a specifically designed space would be.

I agree with KTTW card for laundry facilities and that they should have PhotoPass on board. How about some sort of big screens for the photo viewing area and when you spot one of yourself you could tag it somehow. Even cooler would be to use face recognition technology!

Photopass would be SO AWESOME. (or face recognition like you said- but I think that's dreaming quite a bit LOL) I cannot tell you how annoying it is to waste so much time hunting for photos...... well I don't have to tell you. I'm sure no one really ENJOYS searching and searching for photos. LOL

I was wondering why there seemed to be so many teenagers running around. And kids do look older nowadays so now that you mention it- it was probably tweens I was seeing and not actually teens that should be in the stack! So THAT'S why so many were running around, hanging out by computers and promenade lounge, etc. so much. (they were even there till 3:15am the last night when I went to print our boarding passes- and some looked as young as Robert- around 10yrs old!)

Oh and I think the laundry facilities could be a WEE bit bigger please. I mean they didn't even have room for one person to walk between the machines and the table they have there- I had to turn SIDEWAYS to get around in there and no way people could pass one another. We had to all file out of the room to let someone get out (they were over by the wall by the iron). I mean I know space is limited- but look at all that wasted space around the elevators and such- then a teensy closet sized laundry room with all the space taken by machines and a folding table? I kinda wondered if they thought we had tink in there helping us FLY around in there to do our clothes (some of the doors to the lower machines couldn't even open all the way LOL)

Oh, when we were in Aruba I kept saying wow- I'm still feeling like we're on the ship swaying.. but since we've got off the ship I haven't felt it. It's a weird feeling though isn't it!
I kinda miss being rocked to sleep though. My bed didn't sway/rock last night- darnit. LOL

Hi! Can you do me favor? I just got off the Repo cruise and had Ponz's (from the cruise staff) e-mail information and stuff written on a napkin, sitting on the couch in Diversions. Well, as I was talking to Monica last night, one of the CMs decided to scoop it up and throw it out. Can you ask him to e-mail Melissa his information? He already has my e-mail address.

Danny Buckler should still be on the cruise? If you see him, tell him the Diversions crowd, especially Melissa, was disappointed that he didn't come up last night.

If you see Oppie from Indonesia and Marko from Serbia, tell them Melissa says hi!

Thanks and have a great (and safe!) cruise! I'm so jealous you're there and I have to go to work tomorrow.

Glad Kevin and I were'nt the only ones who felt this way. We walked out.

It was bad when I could figure out all the 'magic' he was doing, which wasn't much. And don't get Todd started. For those that don't know, Todd does some magic himself and he was disgusted with this guy. Apparently he stole a well known trick from another magician and didn't even perform it properly.

Oh I forgot to say- while I wasn't able to personally meet everyone from the thread-- it was VERY helpful with the shirts, lanyards and nametags. Even if I didn't talk to someone -I still SAW them and recognized they were part of our group. And sometimes just said hi or asked who they were (or tried to look at their nametag without looking like a freak who likes to look close at their upper stomach area LOL) -but it was so much better than last time- which was also a large group but I only saw a couple of people that entire cruise. This was much better.
So thanks to those that helped and did all the work with the shirts and lanyards and the nametags!!!!

Okay so keep it honest- am I the only one that wants to keep walking around with their lanyard on? LOL And I usually hate lanyards- but this time I got hooked on having it on all the time- I really liked this lanyard- it was thin and soft and not sharp edges and stuff to hurt your neck. LOL And so very handy.....

I can't believe the TOAL is over.

Trevoy slept with his lanyard on and is still wearing it now.

i am sea sick today, or do you call it land sick. i actually feel today like i am sea sick. i gained 10 pounds on this cruise now its down to 6 pounds because i am sea sick if you know what i mean. i dont know why, we had great seas the whole way. tonight before i go to bed im taking a bonine. i took an extra day vacation day which is today to get some things done, well i didnt get anything done but in surely glad i took the extra day vacation.
many of you said you didnt like danny romeo i thought it was a good show.
the show i didnt like was the mexican folklore i walked out.
i didnt like the ally and aj concert. they seem like very nice girls one night they were in diversions and when they were leaving some kids spotted them by the elevators and they took their time and signed autographs for them and pictures.
the ship really needs the drydock bad. on some areas the ship was really taking care of painting all the time on deck 9 and 10. a lot of broken seats in walt disney theatre thats needs to be repair which could of been done anynight maybe they have something special for it.

Busy day today. It was supposed to be Trevoy's first day of school, but for some reason, the school he's supposed to be going to doesn't have his records. The school he went to for most of last year doesn't have them. And a 3rd school, which is technically the one we're supposed to go to according to our address, says they don't have them either. Although I've gotten the automated phone messages from this 3rd school. Fortunately he has the same teacher this year as he had last year, and she knows he's supposed to be in her class. He'll be starting tomorrow, whether or not they find his records.

Still haven't gotten any of my mail. There may be something in there about the school situation, but since I had a vacation hold on, I haven't gotten anything yet. Our mail delivery is usually late in the afternoon. But I can't remember if I scheduled today as my return day or tomorrow.

No news on the job yet. No phone calls or emails from them.

Came home to some sad family news. Found out my uncle passed away. Tough timing (well it's always tough) but this past weekend was our family reunion. None of his part of the family were there. We always referred to him as our "Fearless Leader" since he was the eldest of my dad's siblings. He lost his wife of 60+ years about 6 months ago and deteriorated rapidly after that. Broken heart I believe. Wish I could go to the services but I have no one to take care of Trevoy.
