Clearly this was written prior to the evening show. Sad to say but Darren Romeo was the worst show I saw on board. But then again I didn't go see Aly and AJ and I heard that was bad. I don't understand how Darren Romeo could have won "Entertainer of the Year".

I agree..

Hey all! We got home around 4:00 PM. Glad to hear everyone is making it home safely. There were many EB people on our NW flight. DisneyPilots and Fairygodmother and some others I met onboard. Thanks Mark for helping me get the cart to my Jeep at DTW!

School starts tomorrow. Making tonight an early night. Ya'll I had a blast!

It was my pleasure Tina !!!! Same here.....early night tonight.

It was a Joy meeting all of You.

Remember The Magic !!!! And say a prayer for those of our crew on the 5 day, that they may stay safe from Hurricanes and Sickness !!!

Monica, ITA!!! I thought his show was awful. My sister walked out during it!

As for "Entertainer of the Year", perhaps it was a bad year????:rotfl:

Greetings from the Beach Club Villas! our home for 2 days.

We spent our day at MK and Hollywood Studios with an evening swim at the hotel pool. DD is fast asleep.

We will be going to Epcot for tomorrow and then start our road trip on Wednesday.

It will be a quick trip to WDW but it's better the nothing!

I will keep all of the 5 day cruisers in my thoughts and prayers...we are also watching the storms as they may affect our drive home.

It was so wonderful meeting everyone! I have so many terrific memories. I want to thank everyone for their kindness during the trip..I mentions to my DH several times that the kindness and thoughtfullness of our fellow cruisers was incredible.

I also want to thank those cruisers who helped make our day so special! We rec'd some gifts on our special day and our room steward had placed them around our room so I don't know who sent them...so a big thank you to you!

I am sitting here and thinking about those who are getting ready to enjoy the 10:30 Rockin Bar D show and envious that I am not there!

I hope everyone had a safe journey home!

Glad you're all getting home all right. We are in rough seas right now, hoping to make Castaway Cay tomorrow. Here is a brief excerpt from today's blog:

Up . . . Down . . . Left . . . Right . . Up . . Down . . Left . . Right . UP . DOWN . LEFT . RIGHT UPDOWNLEFTRIGHT....

THAT, my friends, is precisely what the ship is doing. I am hearing "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" playing in the back of my mind!!! :)

Seeing people walking down the halls (myself included) is like watching human pinballs bouncing in a pinball machine.

It is almost 10:00 p.m., 75 degrees, 72% humidity and we are travelling at 17.4 knots in "rough" seas (7.5-12 foot waves). We are bouncing all over the place.

And you want to know the amazing thing about it? Not a single missed step during the show tonight by our dancers and performers. It was simply amazing. Watching them gave us the illusion that everything was normal. And as soon as everyone in the theatre stood up at the end of the show, half of us fell back in our seats because of the motion of the ship. This group of performers is absolutely amazing. Did I use amazing enough? :)

We are still watching the weather and being informed by the captain. He has let us know that we will be informed should any further changes to our itinerary become necessary. We are just hoping that we can get in to Castaway Cay tomorrow. If the seas are too rough, the ship cannot make berth there and we would end up with a sea day.

Keep us in your thoughts. Ol' Hanna is going to make this week very interesting, that's for sure. We've already had an itinerary change because of it.

After a quick stop at Earl of Sanwich at DTD we dropped Heather off at MCO and she is home safe and sound in CT. Our drive home was uneventful and now all I need to do is convince myself it is really over. It was a wonderful trip -- made more so by all of you wonderful people. Special thanks to all who added their congratulations to Heather on finishing her PhD.

We are keeping a close eye on the Weather Channel with hopes that our fellow cruisers have a wonderful AND UNEVENTFUL 5 day.

Time to call it a night.

Barbara

Hi Everybody! I hope that you all have had a safe and uneventful trip home. I am currently sitting in the Adult lounge and am taking full advantage of non-Disney internet service.

I just wanted to wish everyone a safe trip and continued safeness. We are about to embark on our next portion of our journey. DCL has changed the itinerary due to Hurricane Hannah and we are now scheduled for , today, Port Canaveral, Tuesday - Castaway Cay, then sea day on Wednesday and Nassau on Thursday and then Castaway again on Friday with Saturday disembarking.

As some of you later disembarkaters know - Brent is now onboard. I got this huge grin when Chicken Boy made an announcement. Cpt Jack and I managed to see Christian as he was disembarking today from deck 10.

I met up with Disney Sweetie at about 12:30 and we ate lunch at Parrot Cay. Later going to our room we ran into grumpylover54 and picked up my drugs that I asked for. Seems that I woke dripping and used some zircam and now I am fine and dandy.

I put in my request for M's ship of idiots...mmmmmmmmm...dummy cruise so someone send me the link and I can subscribe! :rotfl2:

Ran into Aly at the rope line and she managed to sneak her way into the crowd and take some pictures with some of the stinky teens then she hightailed it up the staircase. Course, I had to open my mouth and insert my foot and mention to a lady that was standing next to me - "either she's brave or she's looking for attn. Didn't dawn on me that she may be with that party until she looked at me so Coral - you don't have to worry about your foot in mouth disease - I contracted it but good!

Anyway, it was an awesome experience to have met everyone and I sincerely hope that we do stay in touch. I have declared next year a non-cruising year but of course, that depends on what you all are doing. LOL

Let me know and I'll go with the flow.

That's all for now - got to go and download some last minute shots.

Take care all and talk to you all soon.

Hi! Can you do me favor? I just got off the Repo cruise and had Ponz's (from the cruise staff) e-mail information and stuff written on a napkin, sitting on the couch in Diversions. Well, as I was talking to Monica last night, one of the CMs decided to scoop it up and throw it out. Can you ask him to e-mail Melissa his information? He already has my e-mail address.

Danny Buckler should still be on the cruise? If you see him, tell him the Diversions crowd, especially Melissa, was disappointed that he didn't come up last night.

If you see Oppie from Indonesia and Marko from Serbia, tell them Melissa says hi!

Thanks and have a great (and safe!) cruise! I'm so jealous you're there and I have to go to work tomorrow.

Hi All --

You are missed :) It is so cool reading the board and remembering faces that go with your DIS names.

We're at the Residence Inn by Sea World. We spent part of the day at Aquatica (Sea World's new water park). Honestly I spent most of the time on FREE internet trying to get some work wrapped up before we head back to Virginia tomorrow.

Glad everyone is getting settled (and doing laundry). Our prayers are with those going on the 5 day cruise. May you stay away from hurricanes.

Have a super night!

Hi everyone! We are just getting settled back at home. We walked in the door about an hour ago - a loooong day of nothing! We were at the airport by 10:15AM and our flight wasn't until 5PM. We decided to spring for the cost of a day room at the Hyatt and spent several hours just relaxing and napping. Our flight was on time and I managed to get DS9 into bed just after 9PM (Central time). Hopefully, he'll be a little rested up for catching up at school tomorrow. (I'm really hoping there won't be tons of homework to catch up with)

I haven't had time to read back a few pages, but looking at just this page it looks like folks are getting home or settled in at WDW! It was a WONDERFUL trip and I already miss so many of you. (We also managed to take photos of a couple folks from our balcony at the Hyatt which I'll post sometime in the next couple of days ;) )

Glad Kevin and I were'nt the only ones who felt this way. We walked out.

Home safe and sound here also. Bit of a flight delay from plane not coming in on time, but no big problems.

It was so great to finally meet everyone. I am downloading pictures now and will upload a bunch to the sharing site in the next few days.

This was from the "tracking the EB" thread:

Here are two videos I made from screen shots taken from the webcams at MiraFLores Locks and the Centennial Bridge.

Mira Flores Locks

Going under the Centennial Bridge

I decided to leave out the "Panama" song as it was overdone on the other Repo webcam videos.

Glad Kevin and I were'nt the only ones who felt this way. We walked out.

I couldn't figure out what he was...magician? Singer? I'm sorry, but I want magicians to be magicians, my singers to be singers, etc.

As I said later on that night, give me Mike Super or give me death!

I agree, my family said the same thing. The people at the table next to us felt the same way.

This port may have stole the show...

In my opinion... this port was this highlight port thus far.

I think that those who stayed on board out of whatever fears they may have had missed out on some lovely architecture and scenery.

And unlike some other ports, the excursions were fabulously run.

And the Cartagena govt has folkloric band / dancers there to greet us at the port and were giving out fruit trinkets to us cruisers... they really went all out...

Bravo!

I totally agree Sil.............Cartagena was the best off all the ports and the excursion,,,,, Even though we did Disney..... was great!!!

You're more than welcome. I have enjoyed doing them!

A big Thnaks to you Father Mike for providing Sunday Mass. I even watied to go to mass before Castaway Cay...........so that is a miracle.

It was a pleasure geting to know you a little.

Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow morning - we'll be there early!!

David

Oh David ,,,,,,,,,,,,,I wish I could have talked to Helen a little longer!!!  It was great to see Alex and how adult he is now. The girls will be really be chasing him now.;) I wish we could have stayed for a longer visit. DCL would not let me do my hassle free transfers and had to get my own boarding passes and take our own luggage through customs.headache: :headache: That is a whole long story. I am wishing you and your family a great cruise and tell Helen to expect a nice long e-mail for me. I ate some of the Digestive McVitties on the airplane. That was just so thrilling you thought of us and all the yummies Helen and you gave us. I do believe we will see each other again.;) ;) ;)

I just wanted to say my TOAL was everyting I expected but even soooo
much more meeting all of you!!!!:worship: :worship: :worship: I could not have found a nicer group of people to share a great moment in my life.:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

Really tired as the two grandchildren game to pick us up at the airport and get their surprises so I have 6 suitcases of junk everywhere.

BTW my bottle of Champange made it home safe and sound thanks to a towel provided by DCL.;) ;)

I could have taken a bump and went to D.C. than to Chicago but was just too tired!!!:sad2: :sad2:

Hi all!!!

Made it home safe and on time. Want to thank everyone for the greatest vacation experience ever!!:cool1: :cool1: Kids fell asleep on the drive home and I am feeling the time change and ready to head off to bed. By the way I found the my underwater camera :sad2: It took the journey with us tucked safely away in the camcorder bag. The only place I didn't look. Will upload pictures tomorrow.

Welcopme back all of you. Glad you had such a great time.

Welcome home, EBers! I've been reading your recent comments and remembering the feelings I had when it was all over. :sad2:  It sounds like you had the TOAL, just like we did! Now get busy and plan your reunion cruise so you have something to look forward to! That's what some of us have done!:thumbsup2

I agree with Cherie. I still find it hard that our WB trip is over and miss everyone. I know how you wil all be feeling.

Good Morning Everyone:
We made it home around 7:00 pm. It was a long drive !! I did get all un packed last night. I can't sleep now...........so the first load of :laundy: is in.

Looks like I will experience my first hurricane in a few days. Time to prepare.

Dante is thinner and pouting, I will be giving out extra TLC this week.

I wish we could have met more people. Disers were all around.........the ones I did meet, it was nice to chat with ya.

This will be one trip that we will never forget !!!:)

Had the strangest dream last night... Dreamed we already took the TOAL...

But it wasn't a dream. It was a place, and you, and you, and you, ... and you were there. [Everyone laughs] But you couldn't have been, could you?

No, Aunt Em. This is a real, truly live place. And I remember ... But most of it was beautiful. But just the same, all I kept saying to everybody was,

'I DO NOT want to go home.' And they sent me home [any way]

Doesn't anybody believe me?

Back to school... DS11 is vomiting...

Hey M, how many more Mondays 'til vacation...
