My new 'puter for the TOAL arrived yesterday. Spent the evening loading it with:

We printed out the Kids Journal

I just need to try on my pirate night outfit one more time - just to see if the pants need taking in (again).

Jow I'm just waiting for my Joby Gorillapod to arrive and I think we'll be set.

Mine wasn't that bad...

$63 last week for two colors and cut/wash/style
$8 this week to touch up the color..

Trouble is that i decided to go get dd's hair done on Tuesday and it will probably run about the same cost.

Wow, you gals are making me jealous! I had to pay $85 for cut and color and that's without a blowdry! They did have to put on a lot of color for how much hair I had......then I decided to get 6-8 inches cut off.

The color is lighter than I wanted and looked a little orange at first, but that has gone away. I have gotten a little used to it.

I figure that it will help me adjust to CA time quickly. If I am up until 1-2 am then that is just 10-11 right?

Late nights are the only time it's quiet around here...It will help with the time differnece, but DDs are a little concerned how they will be able to get up for school when we get back.

monkey wrench in my plans. went for a normal prenatal visit today...and found out there was no heartbeat. sooo....lucky me gets to go to hospital tomorrow for a lovely procedure...and we leave on sunday.
sorry to be a downer...jsut needed to get it out there...cuz i'm kinda loosin it here. please pray that it all works out. thanks.

You know, that's not a bad idea! My kids do that with their field day t-****s every year at school to get their friends' autographs. That could be a fun Canal Day activity and make for a great souvenir.

Poor boy! I hope he feels better soon and I would be disappointed if I had to miss *Build-a-toy* day, too!

I called the camp this morning and asked if they could make an extra toy for him to get on Monday. She said that they people who come from Build-a-bear ask for a head count of who's there that day and will only make that many, but that they'll ask if they can do an extra one for him. I also told him that if they can't do it that we'll go to Build-a-Bear after we get back from the cruise.

DD"s with blonde hair go swimming in pool. DD's come out of pool with green highlights. Wife is losing mind. Any ideas?

I highly recommend caps. My DD swims 3-4 days a week and ALWAYS wears one. DS does not, but gets his hair cut frequently enough that it isn't a problem for him.

Wow...you guys were busy last night.
DH and I had a night out as my niece called to see if the kids could come over for a sleepover! It took me about 1 nano second to answer her and take them over! So we knocked off quite a few list items and went to dinner. I headed to bed at 11, luckily not knowing you guys would be up late. I had the alarm set for 4:45 to get up and watch the live feed of the Drum Corp International World Semi final's that DS18 is in. They were first to perform at 8am (5am our time), so I wanted to be sure we were up, connected to the live feed and had the video camera ready. They had a great show, but are up against some much larger drum corps, so they will not be moving on to the finals tomorrow. But that is ok and he is thrilled with making it thru the 1/4 finals and semi's, as many of the smaller corps didn't go this far. We're excited to have him home again next week, but he's having a ball crossing the country doing what he loves...playing the snare drum!
So I went back to bed and then he called at 7am and woke me up to tell me all about it and see if I taped it for him...LOL

I don't pick the kids up until 4 today, so I'm off and running to get the rest of my lists done.......I hope!
