monkey wrench in my plans. went for a normal prenatal visit today...and found out there was no heartbeat. sooo....lucky me gets to go to hospital tomorrow for a lovely procedure...and we leave on sunday.

Yer options are endless...pages are designed ta be 4x6 photos, but you can do whatever ya want with 'em. This ol'printer is gonna have them printed as pictures and slide 'em inta a 4x6 photo album - take a picture with each DOTD bartender and friends who consume said drink with me & make a lovely li'l Passport booklet.

There be an official seal affixed ta each page. Brink skinny Sharpies ta write the drink name and have your bartender sign with their name and country of origin.

Seriously though, do our men know what we got through??? Believe me, I needed it and the price really wasn't that bad!

What is it with all the kids running around all of the sudden? DD is now on antibiotics again.........dr gave her the liquid prescription but then I quickly realized that may be an issue when we are flying (not only the liquid but trying to keep it cold) SO....pediatrician gave her chewable antibiotics - so cool! DD says they don't taste bad either. Only thing though, DD now has to see an allergist when we get back. She is on Singulair, Alovert and a nasal spray every day and still has sinus/ear issues.

Today I will do some more errands and stop by the grocery store to get some things to get us by until Tuesday. We also have DS birthday thing on Saturday night. He is having 4 friends over - they want pizza and you know 13 year old boys can eat their weight and then some so I will make my own pizzas to save some $$ They are planning a Guitar Hero Tournament - I hope I won't be up all night long but again ...... 13 year old boys

Only 5 more sleeps until we leave!!!!!!

Oh yeah. The worst one in recent memory for me was Harry Potter & the Deathly Hollows. Purchased about midnight. Home by 12:30. Finished about 7:00am. Slept until about 1pm. Read it again.

In November I get to read it again (movie marathon, followed by the midnight showing of Half Blood Prince, followed by reading of Deathly Hallows). That is, assuming I don't just go ahead and reread the entire series again.

Sigh - they don't make enough books that are that good....

Before i get one of those instead of two disposeables....did anyone get one and have it work ok?

The reviews on circuit city weren't great...

I actually cried today for DD5. She ended up needing 4 shots because of that darn Chicken Pox booster. And DD14 didn't even really need a shot. Not getting her Gardasil (SP?) done just yet, but she never had the Chicken Pox vaccine and she sort of volunteered to get it today do little Dina wasn't all alone. Well, after her shot was done, she and DD9 ran out of the room so they didn't have to hear their little sister. They actually went OUTSIDE to wait.

She actually didn't cry with the first one, eventhough it was just seconds later they stuck her with the second (MMR) that sent her over the edge. She knew she was getting two more in her other arm and she begged and pleaded for them not to do it! It really was heartbreaking for me today. At least much more so than usual. She did get to go to Chuck E Cheese and got another princess bike. When that gets put together...we'll have to see.

Poor girl!!! 4 shots! We don't do the Gardasil shot, either.
I have LOL about the bike. We finally learned to pay for the store personal to put it together!

It happens more often than you think. I had to do it once. Would have cost me $2000 to cancel but cost $200 to change the date. We've had a few cancel here after the final payment date due to injuries, etc.

I meant it wouldn't affect those booking- with PLANS to change the dates later- because most of those people wouldn't wait till after paid in full date to change te dates anyway.
Honestly I thought it was like the "new change" -all along! I never knew you could get past the paid in full date and change the date without penalty- until now.
Injuries/etc. is a whole different thing than booking a dummy date and having full intentions of changing the date later. Most people who are doing that- would have changed the date already before getting to the paid in full date.

Been too busy to keep up with you guys! But, good news is that I am 95% wrapped up at work. Today is my last day at the office!!!!

Anyway, Steph has been kind enough to email me when the pirate pages etc are put up, so I have all of that.

I wish everyone a GREAT Friday and I'll try to keep up...at least until I leave on Monday.

Awww sure...you couldn't have posted this yesterday when i had access to DH's color printer at work. Now i'm going to have to give him homewark and he's going to moan and complain...

Mine wasn't that bad...

$63 last week for two colors and cut/wash/style
$8 this week to touch up the color..

Trouble is that i decided to go get dd's hair done on Tuesday and it will probably run about the same cost.

I posted them. The disposibles will be much better quality

I'm in for more than that this week & that was just cut and color.
Next week is mani, pedi, waxi - so another $60. I usually paint my own nails and I've never had a pedi before, so this is a TOAL treat. I used to waxi at home too, but they stopped making the stuff I used and I can't find anything else I like.

I keep track of the family money, so I don't have to hand DH the receipts. Besides, he gets his hair cut every 2 weeks for about $12. I get my hair cut & colored every 3-4 months (for about $125) - so my yearly hair expense is only about $75 more than his!

I don't have to IMAGINE it!!! It really happened!
