That's ok I'm still travelling on my UK passport, they tried to schedule the oath ceremony for my US citizenship on Aug 21st (only got the letter last week) - ha, they're rescheduling me.

The Drink of the Day Passport hasn’t been started yet, but the Printer really really wants one, so it should get done sometime this week.

Most here probably have seen this, but Disneyland ticket prices are going up tomorrow. One day tickets are increasing by $3, two day tickets by $11 and longer stays are going up by $10.

Nope, just go to the site, select the picture you want (click on it) it will open in the bigger box on right. When you mouse over, you will see the sizes available, click the size you want then right click and save as.

Okay, Crash . . since you are the resident DL expert . .. we only want to go DL ONE day (Friday) and only want to get a pass for ONE park (so we have cash to spend on other things for the next 3 weeks). Considering our boys are 11 and 14 and LOVE rollercoaster rides, which park would you recommend . . . (other folks are more than welcome to chime in as DL experts, too . . .)

By the way, I love Chinese food from Chinatown. We always stop when we're in Washington, DC. It's tradition! Wonder if West Coast Chinese tastes the same as East Coast Chinese??

My 2 cents.....

Go to DL. There's more to do, it will keep you busy all day. DCA has it's highlights, but there is not enough to keep you occupied an entire day. Plus the hours are shorter in DCA. And DL is more traditional Disney. Besides where else in the world would you be able to ride the Matterhorn? My kid is a 12 yr old coaster junkie, but still prefers DL to DCA.


And my 2 cents on Chinese food. Although not the East coast but Midwest. When I was in Iowa for school I tried to find good Chinese food but couldn't. Their idea of chow mein was very different from what we have here on the West coast. Out here, chow mein is stir fried semi thick noodles with meat and veggies. In Iowa the meat and veggies were a soupy mix of meat and veggies served on top of thin crispy fried noodles. I don't know whose is more traditional (we'd need Crash for that) but I like what I'm used to out here. Didn't care for the food I got in Iowa. So just like China, the US has it's regional versions.

Then it's off to DL for a little while to get some things we need and try and catch a ride or two.

However, i am keeping all the laundry washed and sorted so at least it's all clean and just needs to be put in suitcases.

DH and Me will do ours this week. (the other one will happen the following week.
