Sooooo, for everyone who isn't packed, are you going to pack this weekend? I am planning to be packed (mostly) by tomorrow night!!!! We leave the 12th so I need to be ready!

Can't wait to meet you all.

We aren't leaving until the 17th so I won't pack until the 14th or 15th. That will leave me a couple of days just in case I have to go out and buy something.

Good Morning everyone. I'm mostly caught up! Happy Birthday to all I've missed. My boys are gone for a week. Grandma took them camping - now I can concentrate on getting everything ready for TOAL. I'm starting to panic. Time is going by very fast now. Only 6 more days of work until vacation!! I've done most of my shopping, got some great deals at Mervyn's for my husband. Thank goodness he's not picky - he'll pretty much wear what I buy.


Question for those staying on the for the 5 day - if we don't get our cruise docs for the 5 day before we leave, will this cause us any problems?

No, it won't cause any problems if you make sure you complete your online check in and print out your cruise contract to bring with you. I want to get mine for two reasons - it's our first time in concierge and I want to see if they are different and once we had something come the first day we were on vacation for a week (not expected) and the UPS guy put it in our door (smushed it in the door actually) and the door didn't latch completely (actually I think it did but it was so tight that it sprung based on the way the latch looked when we got home). Well we had a wind storm and our door blew open and broke Don't trust the guy anymore, especially because UPS wouldn't do anything about the damage

Not 12 step , but there is a 5 day solution ...LOL stay on for the 5 day ...

We fly out on the 13th 10am UK time, we will pack, on Tuesday 12th, he he, But I will do a shop for stuff next Weekend.

The technical name is PCD, or Post Cruise depression, the only cure known to man ( or woman) is to book another cruise onboard before you leave the ship.

The 12 steps are:-

1. Book another cruise
2. Book back to back cruise ie add on the 5 day trip, but this only delays the syptoms
3. Go to WDW then book a cruise
4. Book another two cruises
5. Book another cruise
6. Book Another cruise line
7. Go to Disneyland then book a cruise
8. Book another three cruises
9. Book another cruise
10. Watch the Magic in dry dock
11. Go to Travel agent then book a cruise
12. Book another four cruises

Again , I should have read further down ...LOL

On another note... we just got in from a last minute dash to Disneyland and CA. The crowds were moderate to light - however, traffic was awful. So it took me a little longer to get there than I had hoped. At any rate - we managed to get in that new Toy Story ride in CA, and we did the California Dreaming movie with Whoopie Goldberg, then caught the Electric Light Parade before running over to DL for a nominal view of fireworks off main street. Before we got in a short 35 minute line for Nemo.

Crash- I really admire your energy and drive. It motivates me to step out of my very narrow comfort zone. I live in a N. Dallas suburb and my office is in downtown Dallas and even though I used to drive 30 miles to work every day, now I hardly go more than 10 miles away unless I have to.

Just wanted to say that just 2 weeks from today i will be on a plane to CA....WOO HOO

My goal this weekend is to get all laundry done; pressed, steamed etc; clothes gathered and tried on etc; and to get a pair of shoes to the cobbler for new soles.

I shall report on what % of these chores actually get completed.

SInce we don't leave until the 17th I won't be packing until around the 15th or so (I will pack the FE stuff, Scrap swap stuff, etc...before then!) Dh won't pack until about 6 hours befoer our plane leaves......

I hope your day is going well. For us our weekend is getting FE and SM stuff. Yah. Getting stuff into the tailor to get altered. It should be all ok, but am a little nervous and stressing...

I do not have gloves or a tiara to go with my short dress for Princess night. I might try to find a tiara. But I am still not very mobile. I would also like Mouse ears for Mouseketeer night, I have never had a set of Mouse ears.

There is a place here I can get black or white gloves for around $6. Do you want me to pick some up for you?

OH! I am what you would call....PASTEY! Blonde,Blue Eyed, Irish/English girl her! My 3 "colors" are OMG white,Red and holy carp you are a lobster! (haven't been the latter in a LONG time..got it once bad as a kid and learned my lesson!)

So "tan" is not in my vocab! And most of the time I seek shade....with in the realm of the sunny areas!

I'm the same way. I talked to two dermatologists I know and they both recommended Neutrogena 30. I got that plus a 55 just in case. They don't seem to think any higher that 30 is beneficial.

That's ok I'm still travelling on my UK passport, they tried to schedule the oath ceremony for my US citizenship on Aug 21st (only got the letter last week) - ha, they're rescheduling me.

I would love to start packing, but we're still trying to sell our house. We have THREE open houses between now and the time we leave for the cruise (August 14th). I'm not sure where I'm going to put the luggage once we do pack . . .LOL

At this point, my attitude is if I don't already have it we can buy it. There are Walmarts everywhere . .. .even PV . . .LOL

I've also got Pre-Cruise Depression . . . try as I might, I cannot find any way to fit Disney into homilies the next two weekends. How am I ever going to keep focused?!
