Don't be too super concerned about formal nights. On our last cruise, I chose NOT to bring any formal wear. I figured we just eat at topsiders on formal night. When we told our servers we weren't going to be in the dining room, they got all upset and told us it really didn't matter. Most folks wouldn't be dressed up either (at least not FORMALLY). So I had a longer dress and DH wore his suit jacket. Our boys were just in their polo shirts and khakis. I must say I was totally shocked at what most folks wore. We were well above the norm. There was even a few MEN in shorts!!! Now mind you that was a January cruise, but still.

Well, I said all that to share . . .just wear what you think works for that night! Don't worry what others think (like the guys in the shorts . .. .LOL). Go and enjoy!!

Exactly true.

As I figure it:
Formal = Wear a tie
Semi-formal = Wear a with a picture of a Peterbilt truck on it.
Casual = Wear clothes

.... ..lisa..all those things..you mentioned about your house..

..was how we felt. of course, a few years ago~ . right after,
we built our current house...we decided no more....kiddies..., so my
wife started collecting barbies....[ she even got the one with "going
to epcot" tape], then....many years later....we had the fateful fight...

...next thing...i knew .....she wasn't just taking the dog with her...&
we're back..in the baby business. ironically..she wore out that epcot
tape...& alot of the barbies. she is...a lil'

...why? ..is it...when a lil'girl..gets a nice doll..the first
thing...they..have to do....is take..all the clothes off?

thanks, mismce..for the concern... , fyi....do you kno..how many
bandits.....come into our service?...alot law agencies...are seeking to
redirect....ya kno?....alot the people..you see? on those cops..shows...

& it like anything...where you are forced..to mange with...one
starts..developing the skills. [ i amy spiel..alot on the dynamics...of
life..because..we are emersed in referring to them..on a daily routine.]

however, "we" should be...putting more "how to" ...in soicety..because
the really dangerous , esclating..disturbed individuals..are "lost" &
therfore..free to act on...the innocence.

* it was a true..story...but not anything...special....when i was in
our local..court system..before colombine. fyi, my current intervenyions..
are...very "concrete"....aimed..@ prevention..regarding homcidal/sucidal
tendency...& the one ...thats working best..is hammerin the idea...of
being there 24hrs/x 365..when they recognize..."the feelings"...as
urges-impulses. back..then..you could see ...."it" comin...

..reaching out?..eudcation , all behaviors..have meaning/s..so...in
society..if we educate...our children & adults...to recognize.....high
risk indicators...while getting everyone..working as a support system,
alot more prevention could be accomplished. fact.

oh, what..i've learn.....since coming to mental health ?..it is easy as
it is well defined...into addressing our emotional needs. i kno..the
majority..feels..mental health..is all about being crazy..that's the
same..sterotyping...displayed @ the movies...terminator II is a
prefect example..of "that it isn't!" & while promoting fear. & you might
be surprise..to hear...but one on major source..for educating and
effective source...for recovery and improving..quality of life? THE HOLY
BIBLE! . (faith to me, is what a person believes in their )
* & like mental health...alot...of it is misunderstood.

* oh, there are some....really outstanding mental health..moives,

, good as it gets, a few good men, bozs in 'the hood-
[especially..revealing..society failures.], tears, ..even one who flew~

* the rn...was actually a very dedicated..& was trying her...best. she
just made..one mistake....redirecting by her value system..instead
of supporting her patients. it's important..in illustrating..the fault...
of one...goods intentions instead of reality...[ we're all have the same
base line...but we all have our differnces.]


*now, mismce..i'm sorry..for ramblin, ha! ..my nature..don't believe,
then ask..my lil'sweetie, . but make..no mistakes...i just
don't used..these...knowledge..base...to impress, ..besides,
i'm way..to old..... can hardly..see, waking up with new creaks every
day, ...and..even past....my speedo prime time,

noooooo mr. bill!...sharing..because...mental health knowledge...makes
life....more happy..& are the best coping skills..dealing..with those
that are a danger to you!...we got together...and immediately...recognized
..our needs..to get professional support. now the feedback...are proving
our assements...for all the prevention measures ......we have been taking.
..."these guys kno him! he even pulled a gun..on officers. " we were not
surprised. but if he does..that with us...he better, have more of a
defense..than his obnoxious mouth.

yes, there are alot..of good things from the good old days. however,
alot of the problems,,we see today..were happening back then too.
ok..this...whenvere..pts..exhibits..a major change..of behavior..the
first thing..i'm evulating for..is health condition. the good news..the
actions..change in behaviors..to improved....society..are actually
very easy.....* if one willing. why seek?...best ways..to find
happiness in life. and to prevent...those seeking trouble.,,begins
with recognizing....those telltale signs. [ the guys..were hired...ha!,
why do you think...we came to you..right away...? ] . you kno..
micmse..what we are trying to "impress" on our children..as the most
important ..accomplishment for a happy life? finding someone special
to cherish & share..your dreams with. ..sorta..gives....
..all those disney's fairytales....useful meanings, eh?

did you see..the dole whip?....while i amy be a work in progress...remember?
..my lil'cutie pie....is in~deeds....a very special person....wait til you meet

..just my observation..i think all the sharing..of the ob's stories...
could be sooo significant..in how ...simple meausres.would/could
have prevented...so many traumatic problems.

..the "future"..of our country..is in this area...is why...i think it

I am even more anxious..over the next week...between child car and new job at bbb....I will be everywhere! I will be working about 10hrs a day! So I am looking forward to next Sat!

I just checked the average temperature in LA for the week before we sail:

Average high= 85

Average low=66

I guess it can get slightly chilly at night.
