Thank you Lorri.. its been a long haul but its coming off. Actually I have to do my run tonight.. I just hope the rain either holds off.. or pours now and gets better by 530!!!

Is anyone interested in joining my son and I on our runs on deck 4 Monday, Thur, Sat, Mon, Wed, Sat?? they are all sea days I think.. We have to stay in shape since we are doing the "BUD" run on the 13th after we get back.. Oh how will I ever pass up the extra deserts.. and all that FOOD!!!!

I saw quite a few celebrities while working at DL. Tom Cruise smiled at me once. I rung up Danielle Steele's purchase. They closed the Magic Shop 2 nights in a row, with me as the cashier, so Michael Jackson could shop in there. It was just me, DL security, him and his body guards!

I danced with DON MATTINGLY from the NY YANKEES... he was in his restaurant in EVANSVILLE, INDIANA... and my mom lived there.. He was ever so nice.. Then he signed 2 packs of his baseball cards for me.. I think it was 24 cards!!

ITA! I felt like I always took a suitcase with me even when we were just going to the grocery store. I can't imageine packing for a baby for this long! Very impressive!

I usually just take my purse to the grocery store (with a diaper and a few wipes and a book and maybe a toy and snacks). The hard part of this is that there will be a lack of abilitly to buy stuff like diapers!

Hey all! Hope everyone has a good day today. Desiree dd got your card and she was so excited! She wanted to know how Mickey got our address and I had to think quick and say that since he is the head mouse that he could look up our addy in the reservation system! Hey it sounded good to me and she bought it! Thank you so much it really made her day. Now to ketchup up!

We got the card and I basically said the same thing and Rita totally bought it too! Ofcourse the older two aren't totally believing it..... but it made my day and Rita was so excited she put it on the fridge with the rest of our door magnets (that are being "stored" on he fridge till I pack them up LOL)

Johnny Depp touched my cell phone while he said "Hi Girls" to my friends who couldn't make it to the AWE red carpet.

Met Marty Klebba at a POTC fan event. Chatted with him about his mini chopper motorcycle.

Gotten several soap star autographs at the soap weekends they used to do at California Adventure. DS even ended up with his picture in a soap magazine. The star (Kiko Ellsworth) he met took a liking to him and was chatting it up quite a bit with us. The photographers caught on and took their pic. Kiko even acknowledged us every time he saw us in the park the rest of the day.

Desiree - I may have been there the day Walt Wiley ran down your DH. We saw him several times in the park a day or two after one of the soap weekends.

DS got to 'sing' on stage with Third Day -they let all their fans in orange shirts come on stage. He also ran into the drummer, Dave, before the concert but was too star struck to say anything. We've been through the "Meet and Greet" line with these guys 3 or 4 times. Hoping for another in October.

While working for United I checked in Tom Jones (It's not unusual to be loved by you....) but didn't realize who he was. After he boarded my buddy came over singing to me and I couldn't figure out why.

Working outside with the small commuter planes I got a request to hold the plane for a passenger. Held it for 20 minutes and David Carridine came stumbling on. Seriously he was so drunk I don't know how they let him fly.


So with all these mini encounters, DS is still mad that I can't figure out how to get him to meet Miley Cyrus.

Also, called the credit card companies today as well. Just FYI - both Chase & Citibank have a 3% international charge fees for any purchases made outside the United States. DH and I are talking about just bring travelers checks to avoid that cost. Anyways, thought I would pass along the info for my fellow

Probably a little late now, but most card do charge the 3% however Capital One doesn't. I got their card last year for the Med Cruise just for that reason.

On a personal note, my computer is still not working tried doing a repair and a system restore, still no luck. Thinking I will try a system restore from a point a little farther back and then just suck it up and do a complete reinstall. Note I have had the laptop for only like 2 months. I got it for the cruise so I could write up my adventures and possibly post them. I have been good and not installing much as I wanted it to be fast for the cruise. Good news it is still under warranty.

Also, my FE gifts arrived, missing a box of 1 of the items and included something totally different than what I ordered for the other. Hopefully the missing items will be here next week.

As for my docs, got a note that they attempted delivery on Friday. Monday I called to have them rerouted to my office. They delivered them to my home on Monday and left them (but did not leave them on Friday because a signature is required). Not sure if they needed a signature that they left them now I need to find them in my building somewhere. UGH!

I shopped with Vincent D'Onfrio (L&I CI) a couple of weeks ago - he lives pretty close to me. It was funny, I was coming out of the dairy aisle heading towards the deli section and there was this man staring at me - he looked familiar but I couldn't place him. I went about my business in that area and kept glancing over to see if I could figure out who he was (I actually thought he might be somebody that my DH works with) and every time I looked that way he was staring at me. Then I finally figured it out, duh! It was kind of cute, he was pushing the shopping cart while his wife did the shopping.

I've also met Marie Osmond and Emme (plus size fashion model) at ToyFair. Years ago when I worked retail I waited on Alice Cooper. I also work for a celebrity, at least in the doll collecting world.

Anyone think I can leave my box (30lbs) of "Medical Supplies" aka prescription baby formula with the rest of our luggage or do I have to lug it around?

OK...for those of you still trying to get doorsigns made...I use MS Picture it Perfect and am able to put words on pictures pretty easily. They can be straight or shaped lines of words. If you email a clear version of the picture that you want to use and exactly what you want it to say I will do my best to put it together and email it back to you. Tell me what color you would like the words to be, on top of the picture or in a border around it and the font. I have the typical Walt Disney and two versions of the Disney Print. Puerto Vallarta, across from the ships, but probably still need to take a taxi over.

There is a group in chat that is talking about going over as soon as the ship docks for water, etc. All are welcome!

Yeah I'm just not sure that I want to chance them not having the diapers we use... She gets a rash with anything else!

I now how you feel. We took DD (now 7) on her first cruise (Thanksgiving 2001) when she was 6 months old. Here's DW ordering from the Concierge service while our Butler is entertaining Sarah:

We had diapers in every closet, but we did have room in the cases on the way back for plunder.

I know someone has listed Verizon rates already but you MUST call verizon to have them turn on the free international roaming service on your account. You must then activate it on your phone before you leave. Its easy and takes all of about a minute to get it done

Activate it on my phone? The guy said all I needed to do was have him activate it

Not sure on that one. May have to set ours ontop of our carryon and roll it around with us for a couple hours. Ours is packed in a computer paper box.
