Didn't opt for the boot camp instead?

Don't tempt me.....
That's US too.... Alicia will be hog tied and BRANDED before we pay an OVERWEIGHT baggage fee when it's just a quick shift of a few things.
Oops... sorry to the 1,000+ folks staring at us from the line to check in!![]()
Below is an image of our luggage load after our 1st Disney cruise some 4.5-5 years ago. We only had ONE child then and Alicia was just at the end of her 2nd trimester with the 2nd child. Yes - this is one of those RARE images of her with a round tummy. At any rate - lok at all the bags she saddled me with lugging around - and yes - we probably repacked a bag at the airport check in to BALANCE the weight in avoiding overwieght charges on check in!

Andy
That's great! We've been saving ours for almost 2 years and got quite a bit. Now we're saving all our singles - DS uses them during the school year to buy lunch but once we have enough to make it through the end of the year we start saving them also - we have over $125 in singles alone! I also save all of our recycling money.
Our bank will not take rolled coin anymore! That just cracked me up! I am getting very excited to see how much we've saved. Our big sparkletts jug is over 50 lbs and has lots of dollars from garage sales and recycling money, in addition to lots of change (NO PENNIES!!)
I have a spreadsheep too, but it is just the things we need to take. I need to get down to the nitty gritty...how many of what for which day and what still fits and what goes with what. And I have to finish my FE gifts too. And...For some reason I am starting to get panicky about the next 5 weeks.
Being on vacation a couple of weeks ago really showed me that my "back-ups" are just not "up-to-speed". I came back to a lot of issues I had to end up taking over. That means that I am going to have to work way more the next 5 weeks to get the particuraly needy clients taken care of so they can last w/ out me for 2 weeks. I normally work part-time so that is out for a while.
I had the idea last night of laying out the outfits for the girls and taking digital pictures of them. That way even though I cannot pack their clothes now, it will make it easier when I do pack. Print out a sheet of the outfits and put them in the suitcase.
My house/animal sitter called and said she will not be here on the day we leave. She is bringing over her friend that will take over for her that day but she was our ride to the airport so now that is gone. We are debating asking a neighbor (who has offered many, many times) or get a Super Shuttle.
I am still working on clothes and the cool door signs may be a "no-go". Also, I have no fish extender.
Is reality hitting anyone else about now?![]()
She said thanks Paula.... She is doing a CIT (counselor in training) seesion for GS camp in Leesburg , VA.
It's an OK camp but only about 15 miles south of Frederick so fairly easy to pickup/drop off.
Hopefully she learns a thing or two while away.At least DH and I will get a break.
One similar, but wholly unrelated thought. As we are travelling in foreign countries you may want to consider taking a picture of your whole family before leaving in the morning. Then if, God forbid, you get separated, there is a record of what everyone was wearing and a picture the police can use to help reunite you
Because they have golf excursions but no hockey excursions?
How discriminatory.
Also make copies of your passport and leave some home so if you lose it they can fax it to you.
For some reason I am starting to get panicky about the next 5 weeks.

We throw all our change in a huge bottle and have been saving for a couple of years now. We hope to start wrapping them this weekend...or should I just carry them in and have the bank count?I am sure it is several hundred dollars. My mad money for the cruise...tips, post cards, souveniers, etc.
but my DH has an uncanny ability to pick up a bag and guess its weight within about 1 lb. It's a little freaky!

I think someone else posted it already, but it's www.vistaprint.com. If you create an account with them, they said emails ALL the time with free offers. I've been waiting to do our wed announcments this way since they'll be free!I missed it, what's the link?
YES! Reality, anxiety, stress levels rising, OMG moments everyday! Not only are we packing and preparing for the TOAL, but we're planning and preparing for our wedding too. I'm excited and all, but this is 2 HUGE things to plan for! I'm going to need some anxiety meds before the next 5 weeks is over! For some reason I am starting to get panicky about the next 5 weeks.

We don't need no stinkin' luggage scale! I shouldn't write this, or there will be a line at my door on the last night, but my DH has an uncanny ability to pick up a bag and guess its weight within about 1 lb. It's a little freaky!
