I must be tired. I read this as laptop dancing

No, that's what we've been doing for the last 16 months!

HELP Can those of you that just say family put a number to your family. Our gift is a per person gift (hopefully I got enough)I want to be sure I get the right amount to each family.

Ruth

2034 - sk8ingfam is 4 - me, DH, DS10, DS8

And Here's mine. I only wish I was as small as my mannequin!

Great costumes Debi!!

OK I'm having dangerous deja vu. Here it is less than 24 hrs to sailing, I'm finally done with :laundy: dropped off the fur kids in West Covina (I'm in N Norwalk) , went to staples and got my door magnets, got my FE's gifts to hand out, went to the post office and delivered my soldier's gifts, went to Loewe's to get ant spray, went to the warehouse and dropped of my new baby so it won't get egged - DD Megan got her brand new car egged on the 2nd day of her bringing it home. The estimate to fix it was $700 but I didn't have the money so we just buffed it out and they did a very decent job. She'll just have to live with it for the next 6 years. :)

Now, got all my lingerie out of the backyard so the neighbors arent scarred anymore - hey - can't beat sunlight for drying. :rotfl: Now, DH wants to power wash the backyard and BOTH of us still haven't packed yet.

:scratchin Did I mention that my mother decides to throw both Megan and I a surprise birthday party since we won't be here? Um..... mom - I can't go because I'm too busy and haven't packed yet??????? :scared1:

Then, realize that I can't pack our anniversary gift because it hasn't gotten here on time.......oh well, I'll download a picture of it and post later.

Oh and yes, what am I doing on here? Destressing I tell DH! ;)

This cruise is so jam packed that I am seriously considering not taking the big DLR - I may only take my Olympus - weather forecast for the 3 ports all week is thunder storms and high temps. So this may as well be a good and easy vacation huh?

Wish me luck - if you all hear of a man being dumped overboard and I disappear it will be me dumping my son overboard. I am not looking forward to sparring with him for the next week. I hope he only comes to dinner. But keep an ear out - it may be me doing the dumping.

Darn, the dryer bell went off, here I go to finally start packing. Who knows, if I finish early, ( :rotfl2: ) I may even be able to attend my own birthday party. :lmao:

:wave2: Folks

Ummmm...

HAVE A GREAT TRIP LAURA!!!

breathe in...breathe out...breathe in...breathe out...

I'm finally starting to think about what to pack for this TOAL! I'm making progress, but am looking for an opinion from the ladies.... How many swimsuits are you bringing?
Sadly, I just counted and I actually have NINE swimsuits! I'm pretty sure I don't need that many... :rotfl2:

I thought about that myself today....

I'm bringing 6 minimally... 2 are bandeau type (great for laying out, not as great for staying up)

i have two tankinis, and i have two tank suits (probably will wear those for snorkeling)

You never know when a buckle might crack or strap come off...

Three.
One wide tank strap, one skinny tank strap, one halter. If I keep alternating I shouldn't have crazy tan lines.

This is important since I have both halter and tank style formals!

I've given up on the tan lines - I already have a farmer's tan. Maybe I can find makeup or something to even things out! :rotfl:

We're not doing too well at calling! I think you must have called when I ran DS to the library this morning. We were only gone about half an hour and I didn't think to check for messages! When I finally realized there was a message (about 2:30 my time) I tried calling you and left a message  Maybe we'll manage this tomorrow! I'll be home all morning. In the afternoon I am taking DS to the pool, but I will bring my cell phone and a pad of paper :thumbsup2

Pamela

Hi there! ;) I am incognito! :thumbsup2 Did I spell that right??!!??!! :rotfl: Feels so strange. Can't wait!!!! I told DH about you and NYC (I hope you now who I really am). :worship:

Hi !!!! See you soon . . .:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Debi- costumes look wonderful! Great job (especially with the necklaces).

I only own 2 suits so I guess I will bring both.
Got some hiking/ziplining shorts today. That was a relief as I was having quite the time finding them.
Think 90% of clothes are finished. I do not even want to see my Visa bill after this last month. :sad2:

Oh yeah- DH got the email that the Vista Print 100 post card "free" option was still going on. Add that to my long list of projects.

I hear ya on that. I'm so not looking forward to my MC bill when it comes in. I think we've got just about all we need to finish packing. Just need to find another formal for myself. And DH plans to get a tuxedo for DS, too. Personally I don't think a 3yo needs a tux, but if daddy wants his son to have one who am I to argue???

Is anyone doing the Canopy Tour with Los Veranos in PV. We did it 3 years ago with them, and I want to book it again, it was awesome. It was just me and the girls, and it was worth every penny I spent. You see my younger DD (now 18, 15 at the time) is kind of like that girl on the Carnival commerical, you know the one that they are trying to get to smile...and finally she smiles and then its gone...anyway, when we did that tour, the smile never left her face all day, I have the greatest pictures, and the best memories. That's why it was worth every penny. Not sure if there was some families doing that. Trying to get all my ducks in a row here and I have nothing booked for PV right now.

If anyone is doing the tour, what time??????

Whoa! I just spent a full day shopping for my 1 suit that doesn't even match! I got the top from Dillards and the bottoms from JCP :lmao: So I'll be bringing my 1 suit!

I've given up on the tan lines - I already have a farmer's tan. Maybe I can find makeup or something to even things out! :rotfl:

Yeah at the beginning of the summer, I had a thought of trying to get rid of my tan lines. Sydney and I have been exercising (er well I have been) a bit and it's been raining in the afternoon when we would otherwise play in the pool (YAY RAIN!). So oh well, I'll just have my farmer tan!

We have a group of 12 going at 3:00. We booked it last month and it was the only time they had open still.

LOL...I was thinking about this recently too. I'll probably bring 4.

I was looking for something from our 2005 EB repo cruise and came across this:

We were handed these cards as we entered the port. Thought someone might be interested in how the terminal was layed out and what the check-in process was in 2005.

There is always great debate on the main boards about whether or not one person can check-in for your party. In three previous cruises, DH has always been returning a rental car while I checked us all in. In 2005 they asked that only one person go to the check-in counter. It should be even easier this year since passports are required.

Thanks for posting this! Every little thing just makes this trip seem closer. Not sure if that's a good thing or not. :confused3

Not real super pictures, but they'll do. Here's Kevin's,the necklace is actually the tooth from a Kodiak bear that his mom shot back in the early 40's.

Debi-you did a great job on the costumes!

Sure, KSDisneyDad and Junesgoofy and kids in 6524 and 6526 include our 3 boys (13, 10 and 6). I think someone else has matched the FE list to the roll call or similar lists to determine exactly how many are in each room, but I can't recall who did it.

We're so jealous! We could really use some rain. It's been way too dry. Also, last night on chat I mentioned that it would be nice to experience some triple digit heat....well I got my wish today and now that we've experienced it, it can go away unless it brings some rain.

We had a great time with two other families here in Denver today! :cool1: We met at Tokyo Joe's downtown and had a great visit. The younger two were so cute, they kept passing notes to each other from one end of the table to the other.:lmao: After pictures though, we caught them talking up a storm. We are all looking forward to our trip and meeting everyone else on the ship.:wizard:

HELP

Can someone repost the list of who we should contact once we get our room number pleeeeeease? Thank you! :thumbsup2

Yeah it's been really nice! We finally turned on our automatic sprinkler system (as opposed to dragging the hose around) and only used it once so far :lmao: We haven't even been able to empty our rain barrels between rains :)

Course today we didn't get rain and it was in the low 90s :scared1: We don't get triple digits here since we're at 7500ft elevation. It's a good thing too since we have no a/c! We're still trying to get the house cool enough with all the windows open to go to bed and it's after 10pm.
