My favorite local in Memphis is D'bos mmm.. we are in Memphis right now and that sounds like a wonderful 4th item......

We went to the Redbirds game last night and Nick was selected to be Kid of the Day and was able to yell " PLAY BALL" after the national anthem.
HAPPY 4th of July everyone.

The ballgame part is really neat!

10ds LOVES Memphis --- Graceland.

They recently opened a Lego store in our local mall (the first one in Texas!). They had a Grand Opening two weeks ago. They had a Lego Master Model Builder here and they constructed an 8-ft tall Yoda in the mall over the course of the weekend. They invited the kids to come help out by building bricks which were then used to build the big Yoda. Everyone who participated got a certificate. I'll try to remember to post some pictures later. It was a lot of fun, and there were lots of people there. There was a pretty long line just to get in the store!

I have a question that might get overlooked but here it goes.
I have purchased my FE gifts. They are something that is on almost everyones packing list. Should I just spill what it is so the FE people do not have to pack it or not? I have never done this before. I know it's not the SM but just not sure.

CRUISE TIP

As I was walking home tonight, I was thinking of the last cruise and a thought came through from the past.

The Tip is on this long cruise to go regularly to guest services for a printout of your stateroom account. Do not leave it to the end as there will be a long printout and you might miss something.

On my last Repo, after the first week I asked for a printout and found a few items that were not mine.

There was some drink orders in the Bars late at night when we knew we were not there.

I asked Guest services to check these and they were made by the 'paper' receipts not KTTW card.

Firstly DCL said they were mine in my name, but I insisted they were not.

A day later I was called to guest services to 'see' my 'bills'.

The bills were made out with the same surname as myself, and I clicked quite quickly what had happened, there was another family with a Cat 4 the same as us just down from us.

They had ordered these drinks and when guest services checked the signature it was the other party and they refunded my account.

So do check, mistakes occur and on a long cruise you might forget what you have or have not ordered. And it takes DCL some time to sort out and correct.

Oh, man! We may have to take a road trip after the cruise!!!!

It's nowhere near as big as the store at DTD, but it is still nice to have one! They even do birthday parties. If you decide to book that cruise out of Galveston, you'll have to drive right past it!

Happy 4th everyone! We were up early. DD's choir sings before our parade and than marches. Great weather today, warm breezy and hardly any humidity! We had a fly over of a Coast Guard helecopter. (Thought of you and your DH M!) Usually they have fighter planes from Selfridge AFB come. The copter was nice, but they do fly frequently down the Detroit river!

So enjoy, don't eat to much and celebrate!

on last years august repo they had 2 things on my bill that wasnt mine, they had me buying 4 or 5 coronas at one time. first off i hate beer and my wife hates it. than a guy added extra tip to my drink at castaway cay. i always add an extra dollar to every drink but i guess he thought it wasnt enough.

DS9's dumbest move was probably running into a tree! He was 4 or 5 and was at his pre-school. He was playing tag, running full-tilt and watching the kid running behind him. One of the teachers shouted "Look Out" and he turned his head just as he ran straight into the tree. He had a huge gash on his forehead and there is still a small scar (although it does seem to be fading as he grows). He tends to be accident prone (not through being awkward or gawky - he is actually pretty coordinated - he just doesn't pay any attention to what he is doing sometimes) so there are LOTS of smaller "dumb" moments! He knows the school nurse so well, we gave her an end of year gift like we give to the teachers! We have noticed that when he first encounters a new school, camp, or whatever that we get called for the first few times he hits his head, cuts himself, and so on. After a while, they figure out this is just "normal" and we only get called for the big ones!

I always work with LARGE size graphics (always easier to go smaller - hard ot make them bigger!) I was just waiting to see if anyone had any suggestions or changes before posting the full size version.
