I have a question that might get overlooked but here it goes.
I have purchased my FE gifts. They are something that is on almost everyones packing list. Should I just spill what it is so the FE people do not have to pack it or not? I have never done this before. I know it's not the SM but just not sure.
Coral
That was on purposeIf you had taken it Tom then he was going to do his special magic to bump you.
Hey everyone! I was inspired to try and make a door magnet out of "our" phrases here on the thread. What do you think? Any suggestions or changes? Anyone who would like is welcome to use it, but I will upload a larger version that will print better once it is finished.

You can sit next to my DW. She could be wearing a full set of slickers and still get sauce on her shirt![]()
Andy
You're right about it not being a vacation if your washing clothes. I like it at WDW because I can throw a load or two in and go out and sit at the pool and relax and really doesn't seem like I'm doing laundry. I have a feeling that on board I'm either going to have to stay in the laundry room or time it so that I get there before the load is done.
I bought 15 pr of cotton unders to sleep in...and plan to toss them as we go. I hate wearing pj's, and I hate using covers...but since this is all Moms....I need to be "covered".
Just got this message in from the Dolphin pod that tends to follow the ship...
"We'd rather have fish"
Happy Independence Day!!!
We are heading into Boston to see the fireworks display. We have never taken the kids, because Mike doesn't do well in crowds. We're going to head in by train & attempt it this year, but try to stay away from the most conjested areas. Rascal Flatts is playing on the Esplanade, but we won't even get near there with the masses.
On a side note, I can't hear anything but ringing in my left ear. Don't know if it's a virus or I've punctured my ear drum or what. Guess I'll give it a couple of days & if it doesn't get better, I'll head to the dreaded doctors. Huh?

Oh, dumb kids moments.... Like the time Christopher wanted to see what would happen if he closed his scissors on his lower lip? Bleeds a lot....
Well, I see post #3000. Will Roger or Tom make it switch though?
Yes, parenthood changes everything. But parenthood also changes with each baby. Here are some of the ways having a second and third child differs from having your first:
Your Clothes
1st baby: You begin wearing maternity clothes as soon as your OB/GYN confirms your pregnancy.
2nd baby: You wear your regular clothes for as long as possible.
3rd baby: Your maternity clothes ARE your regular clothes.
The Baby's Name
1st baby: You pour over baby-name books and practice pronouncing and writing combinations of all your favorites.
2nd baby: Someone has to name his or her kid after your great-aunt Mavis, right? It might as well be you.
3rd baby: You open a name book, close your eyes, and see where your finger points.
Preparing for the Birth
1st baby: You practice your breathing religiously.
2nd baby: You don't bother practicing because you remember that last time, breathing didn't do a thing.
3rd baby: You ask for an epidural in your 8th month.
The Layette
1st baby: You pre-wash your newborn's clothes, color-coordinate them, and fold them neatly in the baby's little bureau.
2nd baby: You check to make sure that the clothes are clean and discard only the ones with the darkest stains.
3rd baby: Boys can wear pink, can't they?
Worries
1st baby: At the first sign of distress--a whimper, a frown--you pick up the baby.
2nd baby: You pick the baby up when her wails threaten to wake your firstborn.
3rd baby: You teach your 3-year-old how to rewind the mechanical swing.
Pacifier
1st baby: If the pacifier falls on the floor, you put it away until you can go home and wash and boil it.
2nd baby: When the pacifier falls on the floor, you squirt it off with some juice from the baby's bottle.
3rd baby: You wipe it off on your shirt and pop it back in.
Sleeping
1st baby: Sleeps in your bedroom for the first six - eight weeks
2nd baby: Sleeps in your bedroom for the first two weeks
3rd baby: Goes right from the hospital nursery into their own room
Baby Book
1st baby: You religiously make entries every day, carefully noting the number of spit-ups and bowel movements for the first year
2nd baby: You enter a few facts each week but stop after 6 months
3rd baby: You buy the book but enter the child's name, birth weight, and length on the first page
Diapering
1st baby: You change your baby's diapers every hour, whether they need it or not.
2nd baby: You change their diaper every 2 to 3 hours, if needed.
3rd baby: You try to change their diaper before others start to complain about the smell or you see it sagging to their knees.
Activities
1st baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics, Baby Swing, and Baby Story Hour.
2nd baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics.
3rd baby: You take your infant to the supermarket and the dry cleaner.
Going Out
1st baby: The first time you leave your baby with a sitter, you call home 5 times.
2nd baby: Just before you walk out the door, you remember to leave a number where you can be reached.
3rd baby: You leave instructions for the sitter to call only if she sees blood.
At Home
1st baby: You spend a good bit of every day just gazing at the baby.
2nd baby: You spend a bit of every day watching to be sure your older child isn't squeezing, poking, or hitting the baby.
3rd baby: You spend a little bit of every day hiding from the children.
Swallowing a coin
1st child: When first child swallows a coin, you rush the child to the hospital and demand x-rays.
2nd child: When 2nd child swallows a coin, you carefully watch for coin to pass.
3rd child: When 3rd child swallows a coin you deduct it from his allowance!!
Pass this on to everyone you know who has children...or everyone who KNOWS someone who has had children... (the older the mother, the funnier this is!)
Just wanted to add a couple of graphics (peanut, multiple ketchup's, a picture of Stacey or Crash).
You got Grannie panties for everybody?
Great idea Pamela!

Yep...that really is a cake!
Please say a prayers for my husbands friend. He woke up yesterday and found his wife dead on the bathroom floor.

This is the normal most of the summer, late night early morning low clouds becoming sunny in the late morning and afternoon. When we really get a heat wave and the winds change to blow off shore it will clear up but that does not happen regularly. I will try to report on the daily weather from here out since people are starting to get ready.
Congrats on the win!
Good one M! That will look very nice!
Beautiful tiara! Congrats!!![]()

Most of the men in those shows are too in to themselves and other men, so what's the point anyway!?! I'd take my DFI dancing just for me any day!![]()

CRUISE TIP
As I was walking home tonight, I was thinking of the last cruise and a thought came through from the past.
The Tip is on this long cruise to go regularly to guest services for a printout of your stateroom account. Do not leave it to the end as there will be a long printout and you might miss something.
On my last Repo, after the first week I asked for a printout and found a few items that were not mine.
There was some drink orders in the Bars late at night when we knew we were not there.
I asked Guest services to check these and they were made by the 'paper' receipts not KTTW card.
Firstly DCL said they were mine in my name, but I insisted they were not.
A day later I was called to guest services to 'see' my 'bills'.
The bills were made out with the same surname as myself, and I clicked quite quickly what had happened, there was another family with a Cat 4 the same as us just down from us.
They had ordered these drinks and when guest services checked the signature it was the other party and they refunded my account.
So do check, mistakes occur and on a long cruise you might forget what you have or have not ordered. And it takes DCL some time to sort out and correct.
Happy 4th everyone! We were up early. DD's choir sings before our parade and than marches. Great weather today, warm breezy and hardly any humidity! We had a fly over of a Coast Guard helecopter. (Thought of you and your DH M!) Usually they have fighter planes from Selfridge AFB come. The copter was nice, but they do fly frequently down the Detroit river!
So enjoy, don't eat to much and celebrate!

on last years august repo they had 2 things on my bill that wasnt mine, they had me buying 4 or 5 coronas at one time. first off i hate beer and my wife hates it. than a guy added extra tip to my drink at castaway cay. i always add an extra dollar to every drink but i guess he thought it wasnt enough.

Twenty months? Has it really been 20 months? Wow. Someone could have had two kids in that time. They'd be nuts...but they could have.
