Been so busy at work, I realize that I am about a week late paying my disney visa card.

my question is... will I still get 0% on my cruise final payment for 6 months even though I have a late payment coming?

Adventurer's club is one of my absolute favorite places! And I don't see how I'll have a chance to get there before it closes. What on earth are they going to put there instead? More hotels?????

The AC is one of my favs, too!!!!!! According to the Orlando Sentinal, they're putting in more shopping and restaurants because that's what people want??? When I really think about it, it still makes me want to cry. It's horrible. I can see getting rid of the dance clubs and such.... I suppose because I absolutely do not dance.... but the AC is so unique!!

I didn't think I could get there before it closed either, with the cruise and all. But after e-mailing my boss and my brother today, I just finished booking a quick trip for July 10-13 for my niece and I to say goodbye to the AC. I'll make sure to have a drink for you.... any requests?

Anybody have a tissue?

I don't know where my post will end up but am sorry to hear AC is closing..we wanted to go last year and didn't get the chance....I don't know when it is closng so I don't know if we will get to go when we head to WDW for 2 days post-cruise..will need to check it out.

It's always a shame that rain can't be more evenly distributed. Floods in the Midwest and drought in Oklahoma. We haven't had rain in a long time -- way too dry. Saw on the news that our year-to-date precipitation is about 1/3 of average (about 3 inches so far this year).

Yup same here! We could use some rain here too...

I have a problem with a shore excursion. Does anyone think they will open up more slots before we cruise or will I have to wait till we are on board? This is my first time having to deal with a non CC mbr. Booking later made it difficult to get the same times.

Having a hard time keeping up here with the time warp. Looks like it will be a beautiful day though!

I'm sure this has already been asked before, but search isn't working for me now.

What days are people planning on doing laundry? Do you think it would be better to try it early or late on a port day? I just got back from a trip to DL where I really overpacked and I'm trying to pack as light as possile for the cruise. I figure I'll need to do laundry a couple of times. I'm figuring sea days might be too crowded?

We did the laundry on the last PC cruise during the shows and dinner. We picked a night that we didn't plan to go to the WDT and started laundry then. We were also in Animators that night and our room was very close to the laundry room on 6. I just left dinner between courses and ran up to switch loads

So I see that the DIS is still broke...I think the best part was when I signed on and it told me that I last visited at 8:14 today when I haven't been on since yesterday afternoon.

DH and I went to Rhode Island to see an air show - beautiful day for it, sunny and breezy. Unfortunately even with all the sunscreen (SPF50) that I put on and reapplied several times I still look like a lobster - going to have to try and find that SPF 1,000,000 for the TOAL.

Sounds like a great day. I don't know about down there, but the temp dropped like a rock here today.

That stinks that you got burnt. You got your Noxema handy?

Are you sure your sunscreen didn't expire? Once, I unknowingly sent DD to daycare with expired sunscreen. Needless to say, I didn't win the Mommy Award that day. DD got fryed.

Hi everyone.....just thought I would drop by! We are half way through swim season, dd9 placed 5th in her butterfly this week, she just keeps getting faster and faster.

Wow, that's great! What a tough stroke!

DS12 just got his black belt in karate today. They really worked hard in their test, it took about 5 hours. DH is now a second degree black belt.

Congratulations!

Tomorrow I turn 41 Monday I have to drive to fredericksburg to visit a friend and our next swim meet is wednesday night. Early thursday morning we will leave for Ohio for a visit with my parents for a couple of days. Its a long trip for a couple of days but DH can't take much time off becasue of the TOAL (small sacrifice). We will be home Sunday night and then NOTHING but a swim meet (away) that week - I can't wait for some downtime!

I got our fish extender almost finished and I am very pleased with how it turned out. I got the unofficial guide to Disneyland so I am reading that right now - trying to learn how to maximize the time we are there. We have decided not to do any special dining, just eat when we feel like it. Kids are not really interested in character dining anymore

In chat the other night, I mentioned that I had added up the number of adults & kids on the FE list and that I would post the totals here.

So far I've come up with 190 adults, 116 kids and 1 cute pup.

However, these numbers aren't correct. While going thru the list, I noticed that some people didn't include the number of people traveling with them.

I was able to use the Pirate Zone to figure some of them out, but I'm lost on a few.

Chrissy (I'm a Princess) - I didn't include children can't remember if you have 1 or 2 daughters

Linda and Dave I didn't include children
Denise(Saratoga Souris) I put 2 adults Is this correct

I apologize if my numbers are off.

I was thinking about that this morning - it may well have. I was going to pick up new stuff with higher SPF for the cruise anyway - I'll just have to pick it up a bit sooner, especially as DS starts day camp tomorrow.

We came home coming up to MA and coming across the Mass Pike, what a difference in temperature! It had to be about 10 to 15 degrees cooler. We did hit some rain but nothing that lasted too long.
