""You guys are great ! I hadn't thought about that. So if everyone is agreeable 50 cents apiece it is.

I already ordered and received my Disney Rewards card. Thinking that I will use some of my reward dollars to get 3-day park hoppers for DL![/QUOTE]""

I am totally fine with that!! 2 for a buck is a great deal! Thanks for all your time and planning!

 Howdy Crew -

Long time no see. I'm in the last throes before sabbatical (7 working days left!) and it's pretty insane right now. I won't be around much between now and then - that's for sure. :worried:

The good news is that DS11 completed his Junior Open Water Certification last weekend!! He did such a nice job. I'm really looking forward to diving with him on the TOAL. The bad news is that I went with him on the cert dives, and perforated my eardrum on the first dive of the second day. :( I don't recommend it as a good time - very painful.

Here's the interesting bit - I had to travel this last week (going home in about an hour) and next for work - and the doc (two of them) OK'd me to fly. Apparently, the problem flying with bad ears is that the ear drum will rupture - and since the damage was done - go have fun! Go figure. :confused3 Of course, I'm the next best thing to deaf in my left ear. :listen: So, anyone who wants something from me is talking to me on that side. :rotfl2:

Have SM partners been assigned? I haven't seen anything - and I'm wondering if I missed something. Or, if we're in waiting mode.

T-**** are progressing according to plan. :thumbsup2 We could really use more help packing them up. So far it's just Monica and I. Wed, July 2 in Sacramento - if you can make it - PM me. PLEASE!

Gotta run to the airport. Later.

For all those planners who like seeing everything laid out in a spreadsheep, I just finished updating mine using the dining info recently posted (realizing that as in all things DCL, it could change!) and thought it might be helpful for others. Here is a link to the Excel version. I also put a copy into Google Docs for those who don't have Excel - this is my first attempt at sharing a Google Doc, so we'll see if this link works.

This is so insanely helpful. Thanks! :goodvibes

Are the times for the "group activites" set? I've been out of the loop for sometime, and it looks like a lot has been getting finalized. I'm SO behind. But, not chance to ketchup - will just have to go forward. :moped:

Oh to have "good" NY pizza and Chinese food again would be worth the trip. The last time I had good pizza was when DH made it. That by the way is my Anniversary. Aug 3rd. So have a slice for us.

Our anniversary is two days later - Aug. 5th. 8 long years.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Just kidding, it was the best decision in my life. :cloud9:

Andrew ... Is there heat near the inflammation? This is one of the signs of a DVT. I've had 3 DVTs and am now permanently on Coumadin, hence the little to no drinking. It took them 2 weeks to diagnose the first clot, kept thinking it was tendenitis, one doctor thought the pain was in my head! Got diagnosed correctly when my GP got back from vacation. Anyhow, take care, enjoy the blood work and needles.

Looks very similar to the one Kevin made for me. I see you have a "Pirates Brunch" set up....do tell!

This is the day we picked where a bunch of us (all are welcome!) are trying to make our own Palo ressies for around the same time. Any of the 3 times are fine since we all know that brunch takes a while. Some of us managed to get ressies on the "hassle free" day, but many could not and are planning the Palo Rush once we board. I'll have a sign up list on my door where anyone who gets a ressie can add themselves to the list. The next day, I'll take that list to Palo and try to arrange with them to seat all us Pirates in the same area so we can all visit while we eat. Most of us have made ressies for 2, so if any are willing to share tables for 4 it might make it easier for Palo to group us.

:This is so insanely helpful. Thanks! :goodvibes

Some activities have found their days & time, some have a day but no time yet, and some are still floating around out there! ;) On the spreadsheep, I tried to put anything that had a time into the schedule area. If we know the day but not the time, it is listed at the bottom of the page under that day. The ones we don't know are on the far right of the second page. Hopefully, I have them all, but if I missed anything I hope others let me know so I can correct it.

Eventually, M & I will be creating the Pirate Navigator with all the information - but I know I like seeing it laid out as I am planning which is why I always make a spreadsheep.

Wow! This is my 1500th post on the DIS :cool1:

I added up all the past parts of this thread and "only" 607 of those posts have been here :rotfl: So far, I have never been in the top 10 on any segment of this thread, so 607 is probably pretty paltry compared to some - but it sure looks like a big number to me! :woohoo:

Thanks again for arranging the wrist bands!

I also had my card shut down by Chase (at WDW) for too many "out of area" purchases and I had to call them to let them know I was on vacation and that the charges were okay. I agree, I'd rather be safe but before I leave for the TOAL, I'll be calling them ahead of time to let them know to expect lots of "out of area" charges.

Just remind all of us !!!!;) :thumbsup2

Thanks Julie, you are so sweet!

My payment went thru, so each wristband will be...... drum roll please
36 cents! Ta Da!

The mailing thing isn't a hassle. Just hoping that I get them sooner>

Me too!!!!:thumbsup2 Glad you are coming to the Mini Meet!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: We still want you with or without the wristbands!!::yes::

Well that is exactly where my pain is and it is really bad, I hope it isn't that, the veins are 'up', and again the same as me I try my best to avoid doctors, I have had enough of them, I was in so much pain I had to go there from work, but still felt wrong taking up the Doctors time, thinking others have more important cases than mine, so when he said your off to A&E, now it was a big surprise.

They are concerned with my blood condition that there is a clot on that location, I still think/hope its a bad ligament strain, from my walking.

The sudden occurance of this -Wednesday afternoon, for little reason at that time, didnt bang it or hurt myself is a concern, no warning just came on to great pain.

I am sorry to hear about all the pain you are in!!!:worried: I hope you feel better soon and the problem is just minor!!

Feel free to copy/use/modify for your own use. If anyone knows of anything that is missing, let me know and I'll update it. I put events that were knew the date, but not the time, down at the bottom of each day. Events that don't even have a day yet, are on the far right of page 2.

Wow! Pamela, great spreadsheep. Can I steal er borrow it?

Something funny/cool happened a few minutes ago! DH was on chat at his Kiva Friends site and everyone was all excited that there were 16 people in chat. He commented that the DIS board chat can get WAY bigger than that. Someone piped up that they were on the DIS - turned out to be Paula Sillars! She and DH decided to plan a Kiva Friends meet on the TOAL :rotfl: :cool1:

It's a world of laughter, a world of tears
It's a world of hope, it's a world of fears...:rolleyes1

Yup, that was the total after taxes and fees. Only a few dollars difference so not bad.

I hate shopping for transportation/ rental car/ flight stuff.
It helps to know what others are paying early on so I don't waste time searching every website.

we probably don't need a minivan, but I don't feel like smushing everyone into a smaller car with all the luggage we will have.

Yeah, and I'm worried about whether a minivan will be big enough for us and all our luggage! :scared1:
