A BIG JAR of NOXEMA, I forgot it my last trip and it is not easy to find in ports outside the USA. I won't make that mistake again

DEFINATELY!!! Nothing else works as good and it leaves your skin all nice and clean too!

Another thing on my list is a gentle laxative.

This cruise was the first time I'd tried the new H2O shampoo. I have really thin, short hair and didn't like it at all. It's so thick I had to bang it on the counter to get the shampoo out of the bottle, and then I had to rinse forever to get all the shampoo out of my hair. I liked the lotion okay, but could do without the scent. Can't remember now if it's pine or mint.

Stace, I couldn't get that stuff out of my hair no matter what (at the time I had a shoulder length bob and I have a lot of hair). I think part of the problem is the water pressure is low and also it is really soft. Heck, I had trouble getting my regular shampoo to rinse out completely!

If you are in Capt's dining , on Pirate night we are planning to meet at Shipwreck Cove (known as the Promenade Lounge to you land lubbers...lol ) right before dinner and then we can all march together into the dinning room ....As to create a Parade of Pirates ...( I promise no wardrobe malfunctions this time ..LOL ) I think this will kick off Pirate night like no other , bring your Pirate flags and hoist your colors .....Of course we will march into the dining room fashionably late to create a little ruckus amongst the crew that wasnt informed about Pirate night

I can vouch for that!!!! Todd was awesome on the Med Repo! And Melissa & Destin & Monica made it even better - I can't wait to see the "Grand Entrance"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now - DH Paul wants to know Todd - if there will be another entrance for the late (traitor) dining? He thinks it's only fair to treat them to the "Grand Entrance" also !!!!!! Gather together after everyone is more or less at their tables - then do a March Through the Dining Rooms !!
(BTW - what did you do to him?? He is so into this character & costume - LOL!!)

The Dr also mention the Garasall immunization, but I said that could wait till she is in the teen years.

Actually we started DD on hers ...It's actually a couple shots like the hep ones....

My dr said it's better to get it too soon than to wait and risk something else....

Grandmom G passed away this morning.

Funeral is on Friday. I promise to wave if we pass Aston area on the way home. (although it is way easier and less traffic to come home by way of Harrisburg)

I don't know which is worse... being at a funeral or having to play nice with my almost non-existant dad...

Just wanted to say I was not on the boards Monday night or Tuesday because of some medical problems with DGD. I was babysitting my DGS Monday while my DD took my DGD to the Emergency Room. My daughter and her family were on vacation last week to the Carolina's and Kentucky. They did eat at a Burger King on Wednesday evening and by Friday my grandaughter was sick. She did have a temperature and was coming out both ends. She continued to be sick and finally on Monday(she saw the doctor in the morning) evening they rushed her to the Emergency room. She was dehydrated and still very sick and weak. She was kept over night and I was at the hospital all day yesterday because she said she would only drink for Mema....which is what she calls me since 1 years old. The hospital released her last night even though she did have 102 degree fever but thought she was well enough to go home. Today DD gets a call from the doctors office that DGD definitely had salmonella. The lab is now trying to make sure it is the same strain found in tomatoes which should have been destroyed. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew there is still danger out there.

Cheryl, I will keep your DGD in my prayers. I sure hope she gets to feeling better soon

The good news is that i haven't been fired YET... (and have soooo kept off the internet)

The bad news... Due to said threat above.... there no way i can sink the kind of money i'd need to put together a Giselle costume. You may just have to settle on a regular piratey wench. But i do have nice boots.

Don't tempt me dear.... I will have an unfortunate trip up there pretty soon.

My DGM is nearing the end of her life. They gave her last rites on Saturday but the staff at the nursing home told my dsis it's just a matter or time. She is in her late 80's and unfortunately has had pretty bad alzheimers for the past 10 yrs. She doesn't know who she is and didn't know who my grandfather even was the last few years of his life either.... She was always so nice to my Dsis and i as kids so it has hurt me to not have her know who we are or who her Great grandkids are. She'll be a better place though at least.

It has been a hard decision Stephanie. I was going to try to take it through the end of the year, but with the two shows being as bad as they were, I just couldn't carry it through the summer, which is my slow time. I even got ripped off with a credit card at one of the shows, which was like adding insult to injury. But good news on that, I got a call from the police in NJ and they caught the woman and she is supposed to make good with certified funds by the 1st of the month. She ripped 4 vendors off at the show for over $800 with a bad cc.

I am ok with it, I gave it my best shot for 3 years. The scrapbook industry is always coming out with new products and if you can't keep up with it, you can't stay in business.

So I keep on thinking of this trip, getting closer and closer each day, and that's what keeps me going!

Debi, you have been gone a long time! Sorry to hear about your decision to close your store. Both of the stores I shopped at here closed last year. But it definetly is a changing industry--I tell you sometimes when I go back and look at my older books--I would really like to do them over. Glad they found the woman that ripped you off--hopefully you get your $$ back by the 1st.
